Abstract

Media can be used to deliver message in learning and bring positive effect on interest, motivation, and learning outcome of the student. Therefore, this research has purpose to develop student worksheets that use problem posing method to exercise mastery of concept of class XI students of SMAN 1 Purbolinggo. This development is adapting media development model from Suyanto and Sartinem (2009 ) which includes seven stages. After testing the product, it is obtained that student worksheets are interesting and useful. Based on effectively testing, it is obtained that 80% tested students are pass from Standard Minimum Score. So, student worksheet is feasible and effective to be used as a medium of learning. This research is resulting product in the form of student worksheets by applying the problem posing method.Media dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan dalam pembelajaran dan membawa pengaruh positif terhadap minat, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS dengan menggunakan problem posing untuk latihan penguasaan konsep siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Purbolinggo. Pengembangan ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan media Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan. Setelah dilakukan uji coba produk, diperoleh bahwa LKS menarik dan bermanfaat. Berdasarkan uji keefektifannya, diperoleh bahwa 80% siswa uji telah tuntas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal. Jadi, LKS layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memperoleh produk berupa LKS dengan menerapkan metode problem posing.Kata kunci: lembar kerja siswa, penelitian pengembangan, problem posing

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of visual representation ability (images, charts, models) to the physics’ learning results by applying guided inquiry with multiple representations learning approach. The population of this research was 318 students of 8th grade of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in even semester of academic year 2013/2014. There are 31 samples taken from class VIII1 using purposive sampling. Data of ability in visual representation obtained from 6 question given to students in the end of learning process and data of learning results obtained from 5 question given in last meeting. The results of this research showed that there was significant and linear influence between visual representation ability to the physics’ learning results, with contribution of 66.6% as the value of determination coefficient (R Square).Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kemampuan representasi visual (gambar, grafik, model) terhadap hasil belajar fisika melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Gadingrejo semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014 sebanyak 318 siswa, sampel yang diambil kelas VIII1 31 siswa. Data kemampuan representasi visual diperoleh dari 6 butir soal yang diberikan kepada siswa setiap akhir pembelajaran dan data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui 5 butir soal yang diberikan pada pertemuan terakhir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan linear antara kemampuan representasi visual terhadap hasil belajar fisika, dengan kontribusi sebesar 66,6% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square).Kata kunci: hasil belajar, inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan representasi visual

Abstract

This research that aims to know the influence of: Analogy representation toward students’ rational thinking ability, and students’ mastery of Physics concept. The research used one class as sample i.e. class X2 that consisted of 27 students. One-shot case study was used as research design. Data obtained from this research were data of analogy representation, rational thinking ability and mastery of the concept that was normal and linear distribution. Simple linear regression test was conducted to examine the influence of analogy representation toward rational thinking ability and mastery of the concept. The result of this research indicated that: There was linear influence that were positive and significant at analogy representation toward rational thinking ability with contribution as much 46%, and There was linear influence that were positive and significant at analogy representation toward students’ mastery of physics concept with contribution as much 63 %.Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: representasi analogi terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional siswa dan penguasaan konsep fisika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel satu kelas yaitu kelas X2 dengan jumlah 27 siswa dan menggunakan desain penelitian one-shot case study. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data representasi analogi, kemampuan berpikir rasional dan penguasaan konsep yang berdistribusi normal dan linier. Untuk menguji pengaruh representasi analogi terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional dan penguasaan konsep fisika dilakukan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara representasi analogi terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional dengan kontribusi sebesar 46%, dan Terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara representasi analogi terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 63%.Kata kunci: representasi analogi, kemampuan berpikir rasional, penguasaan konsep fisika

Abstract

Instructional Physic LAB Media, tutorial model using Macromedia Flash has been developed in order to convey knowledge and strengthen the competence of students in SMP/MTs on the solids, liquid, and gas learning material that consist of divinity and love for the environment, also to determine the effectiveness, attractiveness, easiness and usefulness aspect of the products that was developed. The development of instructional media begins with the need analysis and identification of resource requirements. Furthermore, formulating initial script based on learning objectives and identification product, then developing the product. Internal test result by design and learning material expert stated that the instructional media is proper to use as an instructional media. The external test resulted by users show that the quality of instructional media: very attractive, easy to use, very useful, and effective to be used as a learning resource with percentage of student learning outcomes by 81,8% reached the passing grade .Untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan dan memperkuat karakter siswa, telah dikembangkan media pembelajaran LAB Fisika model tutorial menggunakan Macromedia Flash untuk SMP/MTs pada pokok bahasan zat padat, cair, dan gas bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan lingkungan serta mengetahui efektifitas, kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan produk yang dikembangkan. Pengembangan media pembelajaran diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan dan identifikasi sumber daya. Selanjutnya merumuskan naskah awal berdasarkan tujuan pembelajaran dan identifikasi produk, kemudian mengembangkan produk. Hasil uji internal oleh ahli desain dan ahli materi menyatakan media pembelajaran layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil uji eksternal oleh pengguna menunjukkan kualitas media pembelajaran: sangat menarik, mudah digunakan, dan sangat bermanfaat serta efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan persentase hasil belajar sebesar 81,8% siswa telah memenuhi KKM.Kata kunci: kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, media LAB fisika, nilai ketuhanan

Abstract

The use of conventional methods was causing student lackof interest in the physics subjects, so it was needed an innovations in the use of learning methods. This study aims to determine the differences in average outcomes study between Role play methods using MR Gesture approach with demonstration method. This research has been carried out in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013 at SMPN1 Bandarsribhawono. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The study design was a One-Shot Case Study. Learning outcomes data obtained from the average achievement test were analyzed using independent sample t test. The results of the data analysis was known that the average value of Role play methods using MR Gesture approach class at 69, while the demonstration method class at 65, so it was concluded that there were differences student outcomes study between methods Role Playing approach MR gesture with demonstration methodPenggunaan metode pembelajaran yang masih konvensional menyebabkan kekurang tertarikan siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika,sehingga diperlukan inovasi dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara metode bermain peran menggunakan MR Gesture dengan metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013 di SMPN 1 Bandarsribhawono. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah One-Shot Case Study. Data hasil belajar diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis meng-gunakan independent sample t test. Hasil analisis data menunjukan nilai rata-rata kelas metode bermain peran menggunakan MR Gesture sebesar 69, sedangkan kelas metode demonstrasi sebesar 65, Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar fisika siswa antara metode bermain peran menggunakan MR Gesture dengan metode demonstrasiKata kunci: bermain peran, multiple representations gesture, demonstrasi dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Physics is a subject that can be presented in a variety of representations, such as representations of image, graphs, verbal and mathematical. The purpose of this research is to determine the form of physics learning module based on multi representation in the subjects of temperature and heat for tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Punduh Pedada. The development method was adapted from media development model of Suyanto and Sartinem (2009) which is includes seven stages of development. After testing the feasibility of the product, it shows that the module is worth to be used. After testing the product, it is known that module is interesting and effective to be used as a learning media. This research’s produces a product, that is a learning module based on multi representation in the subject of temperature and heat in the printed-media form.Fisika merupakan mata pelajaran yang dapat disajikan dalam berbagai representasi seperti representasi gambar, grafik, verbal dan matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan bentuk modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis multi representasi pada materi suhu dan kalor untuk siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Punduh Pedada. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan media Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Setelah dilakukan uji kelayakan produk diperoleh hasil bahwa modul layak untuk digunakan. Setelah dilakukan uji coba produk diketahui bahwa modul menarik dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis multi representasi materi suhu dan kalor dalam bentuk media cetak.Kata kunci: modul, multi representasi, pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to make an assesment instrument of spiritual (divinity) and social attitudes (environmental devotion) in integrative science learning for junior high school students about learning topic the changing of our surroundings. Development method was adapted from the development method by Sugiyono (2013) which contains of seven stages of development. Validation design which contains construction, substantion, and language was tested to two expert and showed that the instrument had high validity with 3,56 validity score. After the validity test, then the instrument was tested its reability which was done to students of VII 1 at SMP Global Madani Bandar Lampung in academic year 2013/2014 which consists of 19 students. The result of the reliability test showed that the instrument had high realibility with 0,878 alpha cronbach’s score. The result of research showed that the instrument was valid and reliable to measure of divinity and environmental devotion attitudes.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian sikap spiritual (nilai ketuhanan) dan sosial (nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan) pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu untuk SMP pada tema pembelajaran perubahan di sekitar kita. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari metode pengembangan menurut Sugiyono (2013) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Validasi desain yang meliputi aspek konstruksi, substansi, dan bahasa diujikan kepada dua orang ahli dan diperoleh skor validitas sebesar 3,56 dengan kategori validitas sangat tinggi. Setelah uji validasi, kemudian dilakukan uji reliabilitas yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII 1 SMP Global Madani Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 19 siswa. Hasil uji reliabilitas diperoleh alpha cronbach’s sebesar 0,878 dengan kategori reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur nilai ketuhanan dan nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan dan layak untuk digunakan.Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian sikap, nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, pengembangan

Abstract

Learning Physics often not reached of KKM. Inaccessibility of KKM by most of student showed less concept skill. The aims of the research (1) to investigate difference of average of students Fluid Static concept’s skill after and before being given feedback, and (2) investigate the increasing students skill of Fluid Static concept after being given feedback. Design that used Posttest-Only Control Design. Result of this research showed that there was difference average of students Fluid Static concept’s skill after and before being given feedback and there was a significant increasing student's concept skill after being given feedback by using CTL model, which increased the average score about 22%. The average score of concept skill on experimental class was 73.77 and control class was 55.74.Pembelajaran fisika seringkali tidak mencapai KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal). Ketidaktercapaian KKM oleh sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan rendahnya penguasaan konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata penguasaan konsep Fluida Statis antara menggunakan feedback dengan tidak menggunakan feedback, (2) mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan konsep Fluida Statis setelah diberi feedback. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Posttest-Only Control Design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata penguasaan konsep Fluida Statis siswa SMA antara menggunakan feedback dengan tidak menggunakan feedback, terjadi peningkatan signifikan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah diberi feedback melalui model CTL sebesar 22 %. Rata-rata nilai penguasaan konsep pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 73,77 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 55,74.Kata kunci: umpan balik (feedback), model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning (CTL), penguasaan konsep

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know about the raising of students’ cognitive learning outcomes, to grow of students’ science process skills, to form the characters, to improve activities, and to grow the attitudes of students by using ICT media simulation as complement on experiment of study in measuring instruments. The research has been done in SMPN 1 Tumijajar, Tulang Bawang Barat. This research used the experiment method. The research data were obtained by giving pretest and posttest, and also to observe the students’ Science Process Skills, the students’ characters, the activities, and students’ attitudes. The research conclude that students cognitive raised as 0,4 or medium range, grow the students’ science process skills, form the caracters, improve the activities, and growth the students’ positive attitudes by using ICT media simulation as complement on experiment of study in measuring instruments.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa, menumbuhkan KPS, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas, menumbuhkan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai komplemen eksperimen pada pembelajaran ukur. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Tumijajar, Tulang Bawang Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara memberikan pretes dan postes serta observasi terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa, karakter, aktivitas, dan sikap siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 0,4 atau dapat dikategorikan sedang, menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains siswa, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas, dan menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa selama menggunakan media TIK simulasi sebagai komplemen eksperimen pada pembelajaran alat ukur.Kata kunci: aktivitas, karakter, keterampilan proses sains siswa, komplemen eksperimen, media TIK simulasi

Abstract

Learning is the most vital key term in every education effort, therefore without the real learning there will nothing about education. Individual achievement of the learning process called studying’s result. One of the internal factor that can influence someone’s studying result is intelegency and learning motivation. The research is to know : (1) The influence of the intelegensi against the learn physics the students , (2) The influence of motivation learn to the students learn physics the students , (3) The influence of the intelegensi and motivation learned to learn physics the students. This research was conducted in SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung that exerting one experimental class (X5) which 35 students as the sample. The studying’s result measured by the result of posttest evaluation, whereas the intelegency gained by taking from the research sample that use documentation technique. The data of learning motivation gain from the student’s learning motivation questionnaire. The data tested by SPSS 17.0 there are regression test, normality, homogenity and linearity. Based on the test result showed that : (1) There was influence of intelegency toward studying’s. (2) There was influence of motivation toward studying’s. (3) There was influence of intelegency and learning motivation toward studying’s.Keyword : studying’s result, intelegency and learning motivation.
