Abstract

Abstract: Maslow in Poduska (2000: 201) defines the need for an esteem needs to be a person's desire for good judgment from others, to be respected and to receive praise from a teacher. Marcus Verrius Flaccus in Monks et al (1999: 279) argues that the learning competition is a learning activity, students competing for each other to get good learning outcomes. The existence of competition or student competition in the learning process (learning of competition) is one of the strong factors in motivating students in learning. Barro in Ali and Asrori (2006: 41) that creativity is the ability to create something new, something new does not mean to be entirely new, but can also be a combination of elements that have been there before. This study aims to describe and interpret the relationship of the need for awards (esteem needs) and competition in learning (learning of competition) with students' physics learning creativity MTs Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao Gowa District. The type of this research is descriptive correlational research. The population of this study is all students of MTs 2012/2013 school year. The sample using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique is by taking representative sample where the researcher takes 25% from the existing population that is 40 students from 160 students of MTs Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao Gowa District and with sampling based on grade level then taken at random. To obtain the data of researchers using questionnaires and interview guides conducted by researchers to physics teachers of each class. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics for hypothesis testing.

Abstract

Abstrak: The purpose of this study, namely: 1) Describe the learning behavior in Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Fort Sidrap. 2) Describe the learning outcomes of learners on the Subject of Aqidah Akhlak in Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Fort Sidrap. 3) Knowing the behavior of learning with learners' learning outcomes on Subjects Aqidah Akhlak in Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Fort Sidrap.This thesis uses 205 pupolation that is all students class VIII MTs Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Fort Sidrap and sample of 31 learners. The research instrument used is observation and note format. Data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique and using product moment.The average learning behavior of learners on subjects Aqidah Akhlak 84.3 lies in the interval of 81-100, which is in very good category. The average Learning Outcome of the learner is 72.5 which lies at intervals of 61-80, which are in either category. Learning behavior does not affect the students learning outcomes on subjects Aqidah Akhlak in Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Fort Sidrap.Hasil test t0 = 0.81 <from tt = 1.699. So it can be said that HO accepted and Ha rejected, meaning there is no relationship between learning behavior with learners' learning outcomes in the eyes of the Aqidah of Morals in Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Fort Sidrap.

Abstract

This article aims at analyzing the terminology of instructional technology from the historical perspectives. The development of the terms impacts the nomenclature, role, domain, and the object of the study. The term instructional technology is perceived the same as educational technology by some experts, while some others considered different. Technology is the application of knowledge for practical purposes. In early development, instructional technology was seen as instructional media, and then it was considered as a science, process, which includes the field of design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of processes and learning resources, and currently is focused on facilitating learning and improving performance.

Abstract

Teachers are key to improving the quality of education, they are at the central point of any educational reform effort. In order to become a professional person, teachers must meet the qualifications and competency standards of educators. The approach used in this study is a multidisciplinary approach that is: religious approach, juridical / normative, management, and sociological. This research was conducted in Makassar City of South Sulawesi Province. The place of research is in all Madrasah Tsanawiyah within the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Makassar City. The object population (target) of this research is all teachers of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Makassar City consisting of 2 State Islamic Madrasah Tsanawiyah and 32 Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The teacher population of 34 Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Makassar City is 729 people. Research Results Shows that the professionalism of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in terms of; 1) Mastery of materials, structures, concepts, and scientific patterns that support the subjects being taught, 2) Mastery of Competency Standards and Basic Competencies, 3) Development of creativity-enhanced learning materials, and 4) Continuous professional development by taking reflective action yet Optimal because it is in the category of being.

Abstract

The tasks of the teacher as a profession are to educate, to teach, and to train. Educating means to continue and develop the values of life; teaching means to continue and develop the science; training means to develop skills for the learners’ lives. To be able to carry out the duties and responsibilities stated previously, teachers are demanded to have some specific skills and competencies as part of their professionalism. Professional competence is the ability to master the learning materials broadly and deeply. In Islamic education concept, it deals with the teachers’ ability to carry out their duties in a professional manner based on the teachings of Islam. Teacher professional competence refers to the ability of a teacher to conduct their profession well. It deals with the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 Year 2005 about teachers and lecturers as covered in Chapter III Article 7 regulating about the principles of professionalism.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the role of Ummi method in improving students’ skill in reading and memorizing Quran for students in grade 2 Islamic Primary School Athirah Bukit Baruga Makassar. The main problem is what the roles of Ummi method in developing students' skills in reading and memorizing Quran. Then, as for the sub-problem is how to shape the implementation of Ummi method in the process of learning Quran. This study applied qualitative methods by using psychological and pedagogical approach. The researcher conducted this study by collecting data in the field to observe the process of learning Quran with Ummi method. The data was obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed and then drawn a conclusion. Then, the findings showed that the learning outcomes of students awarded Very Good based on the evaluation obtained by the students. The reading scores were from 80 until 95. The highest reading score of the students was 95 and the lowest was 80. The memorization scores of the students were from 90 until 95. The lowest score was 90 and the highest one was 95. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the Ummi method used in the second classroom of Athirah Islamic Primary School has a very important role in developing students’ skills in reading and memorizing Quran.

Abstract

Abstract: Islamic education can be defined as a process of providing guidance and instruction to learners in order to improve the potential quality of the faith, intellectual, personality and skills of learners. The knowledge imparted to learners based on Islamic teachings is a future investment. The scope of Islamic education encompasses all Islamic teachings integrated in belief (faith) and worship and muamalah whose implications affect the process of thinking, feeling, doing and the formation of personality which in turn manifested in akhlaq al-karimah as a form of Muslim man.

Abstract

Religion is a thing that is known, understood, adhered to, and valued in every society at all levels of culture. Thus, religion has become an institution whose existence is recognized by its followers. Religion provides guidelines for the followrs’ behavior, maintains the integrity of the society, and guides the public to hold a social control system (supervision system by society on the followers’ behavior). Conflicts with religious motives are actually caused due to excessive religious fanaticism, especially in social life as well as the lack of understanding of the teachings of their religion.

Abstract

Abstract: Education provides the advancement of human thought so that their standard of living increases. In its development from age to age education transformed into a system. An educational system systematically arranged in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 on the law of the national education system article 11 paragraph 1, which explains that education is implemented through three lines of formal, informal and informal education. These three educational paths are mutually related to each other and need to make the social changes that occur in the future. The existence of education as a factor of social change, the role of educators or teachers have a strategic role in realizing students to be ready in the face of expected social change. As expressed by Amanda Coffey (2001) that educators / teachers from day to day work for schools, as the key to implementation (implementation) of education policy. As the main social actor in education, educators have a responsibility in complementing the pedagogic practice as well as the transmission of knowledge and skills. They are also responsible for the management of the classroom. Educators occupy the leading position in policy and social change

Abstract

Abstract: This research is the result of research of development of teaching materials of Islamic education which is done through dissemination activity with problem How is the effectiveness level of the utilization of teaching materials of Islamic education in STAIS DDI Maros? The goal is to describe the level of effectiveness of the use of teaching materials of Islamic education that has been developed based on jigsaw type cooperative learning model. The effectiveness level of development of teaching materials of Islamic education based on jigsaw type cooperative learning model through the dissemination activity of normalized gain value equal to 0.77 high category. The response of lecturers to the modules and other learning tools obtained the average value of 3.80 categories is very good. Student response to the module and other learning tools obtained the average value of 3.71 categories is very good. The activity of lecturers to manage the learning obtained the average value of 3.90 categories is very good, and student activity obtained the average value of 1.68 with the category of very active students follow the learning process.
