Abstract

One of the successes of early childhood education is the involvement of parents in their children’s education. Parenting education is one aspect of achieving these educational goals. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of parenting education in Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Institutions as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of parenting education. This research uses a qualitative research approach. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Research subjects were conducted on 6 parents of students and 3 informants, namely educators and educational staff. The validity of the data uses triangulation techniques and uses qualitative data analysis. The results showed that parenting education has programmed planning to start from the implementation objectives, implementing organizations to competent resource persons, but has not paid attention to the reference in its implementation and has not identified the needs of parents in planning activities. Parenting education is carried out in various forms of routine and incidental activities. Supporting factors are the commitment of educators and parents in running the program, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Inhibiting factors are low parenting awareness and busy working parents resulting in low involvement in activities. Parenting education is very important for a better child’s life, for that there needs to be good management in every early childhood education.

Abstract

Motivasi warga belajar adalah dorongan yang terdapat pada warga belajar baik kondisi fisik dan psikologis untuk mencapai tujuan tanpa memandang batas usia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi warga belajar dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi warga belajar dalam mengikuti pendidikan kesetaraan program paket C di PKBM Tunas bangsa Brebes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di PKBM Tunas Bangsa Brebes. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumetasi. Subjek penelitian 4 warga belajar paket C, 1 tutor paket C, 1 pengelola PKBM dan 1 tokoh masyarakat. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teori. Metode analisis data melaui reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keaktifan, kehadiran,  kesiapan warga belajar serta semanagat  dalam mengikuti paket C masih rendah, sarana prasarana yang memadai belum maksimal. Warga belajar mengikuti paket  C dengan harapan memperoleh ijazah setara SMA/MA sebagai persyaratan pekerjaan, serta pendidikan ke jenjang lebih tinggi. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi motivasi warga  belajar yaitu kondisi  jasmani dan rohani sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan sosial, latar belakang keluarga, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, dan ekonomi.Motivation people learn is the urge residents who are on the learners both physical and psychological conditions to achieve goals regardless of the age limit. The purpose of this study to describe the motivations of learning and the factors that affect learners in following equality education program package C in PKBM Tunas bangsa Brebes. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Locations of research in PKBM Tunas Bangsa Brebes. Data collection through interviews, observation , and Documentation. 4 research subjects residents to learn the package C, 1 tutor package C , 1 and 1 manager CLC community leaders . The validity of the data using triangulation source . Methods of data analysis through data reduction , data display , and data verification . The results of this study demonstrate the activity, presence, readiness to learn and semanagat citizens to follow the package C is low, adequate infrastructure is not maximized. Residents learn to follow the package C in the hope of obtaining the equivalent high school diploma/ MA as a condition of employment, and education to a higher level. Internal factors which influence the motivations of learning that physical and spiritual conditions while external factors, namely the social environment, family background, parental education, and economics.

Abstract

Early childhood is an individual who is developing a process of growth This research is based on the underdeveloped ability of children to identify the geometry of children in the Al-Hidayah Kindergarten of Kamil. This phenomenon is due to the selection and use of inaccurate learning strategies that are not appealing to children. This research aims to help improve children’s recognition of geometric shapes through a fun game. This research used a pre-experimental method using one group pre-test post-test design. The subjects selected were 13 students of TK Al-Hidayah Tilatang Kamang. The data were collected using observation and the data analysis was examined by a statistical test. The descriptive result showed that fun game has improved children’s recognition of geometric shapes. The statistical analysis obtained a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Hence, the fun game strategy has effectively improved children’s recognition of geometric shapes at TK Al-Hidayah Tilatang Kamang.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelatihan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi berwirausaha ibu rumah tangga, dan mendeskripsikan peran Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat (KSM) Karya Nyata sebagai wadah untuk berwirausaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 2 orang peserta pelatihan dan informan terdiri dari 1 orang pelaksana pelatihan, ketua KSM Karya Nyata, dan 1 orang tokoh masyarakat. Teknik keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teori. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini: pelatihan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga dalam memotivasi ibu rumah tangga cukup memotivasi, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dalam 3 aspek kegiatan, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi berwirausaha ibu rumah tangga ada 2 faktor, yaitu faktor internal berupa pengalaman danketerampilan yang dimiliki ibu rumah tangga serta motivasi diri mereka, dan faktor eksternal berupa tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, dorongan keluarga, lingkungan masyarakat,npeluang usaha dan wadah bengkel kerajinan. Peran KSM Karya Nyata sebagai wadah berwirausaha adalah sebagai fasilitator dan motivator anggota dan masyarakat dalam berwirausaha.The aim of this study were to describe the household waste management training, explain the factors that can affect entrepreneurship motivation housewife, and describe the role of self-help groups (SHGs) of Karya Nyata as a container for entrepreneurship. This study used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used through interviews, observation, and documentation. Research subjects and informants are 5 people, consisting of two trainees, 1 training organizers, KSM chairman of Karya Nyata, and 1 community leaders. Technique authenticity of the data in this study using triangulation. Data analysis techniques used in this training include:data collection, data reduction, presentation of data,  conclusion. The results obtained in this study: training of household waste management in motivating housewife motivating enough, it can be seen in three aspects of activities, including planning, execution and evaluation. Factor  affecting entrepreneurship motivation housewife there are 2 factors, namely (a) the internal factors such as experience danketerampilan owned housewives as well as their self-motivation, (b) external factors such as level of education, employment, family encouragement, community, and business opportunities. The role of  KSM Karya Nyata as container entrepreneurship is as a facilitator and motivator and community members in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

CLC as one of the non-formal educational institutions affected by the COVID 19 outbreak must organize online teaching and learning activities under government instructions as an effort to prevent transmission of the COVID 19 pandemic.  Lack of experience in conducting online learning makes institutions confused about running the learning process due to educators and managers' limited ability to implement online education. It is necessary to study more deeply what learning strategies CLCs should carry out during the pandemic period. The approach used in this study was a mixed-method with 10 CLC respondents spread across West Java. From the findings in the field, learning at CLC during the pandemic was still ongoing. Tutor only used message applications for delivering learning material and evaluation process. They do not even implement it in the online learning management system. For this reason, CLC can pilot a multilevel blended learning system model. The implementation of the model system starts from institutional management, program management, to learning management by tutors.

Abstract

Every child has the music potency without exception, although they have different potential / talent of musical that is owned and viewed from the aspect of education. Early childhood music potential looks at everyday activities and it’s natural. The research was conducted at Paud Nanda Sifana, located in the fishery village of Tambak Lorok, Semarang City. The music instructional in early childhood includes; singing, clapping, and playing simple musical instruments in accordance to develop their character values. Character values that can be developed through music instructional such as; religious, honest, tolerance, the spirit of nationalism, the love of homeland, the love of peace, environmental care and others. From the results of observations that the authors carried out, found that the development of the characters values through music instructional formed in Paud Nada Sifana Tambak Lorok, seem less optimal and has not seen as the development of character values that should be happening to them. It is because the instructional in general is oriented to academic development in the form of learning calistung (reading, writing, arithmetic), so that the music instructional that can develop their character values get minimum portion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of multicultural understanding of the Suku Anak Dalam in the North Musi Rawas region. The population taken in this study were all ethnic children in the Musi Rawas Utara area. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 72 people from 3 villages. The data collection technique used a non-test technique in the form of filling out a questionnaire. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire using a modified Likert scale with 4 answer choices. The results of the validity and reliability test indicate that the instrument used is valid and reliable. For the results of the analysis, the percentage for each respondent was in the range of 76%-100% who entered the category of strongly agree based on the Likert scale interpretation table. This means that all respondents are categorized as strongly agree with the statements regarding the multicultural indicators proposed in the questionnaire. This shows that the Suku Anak Dalam North Musi Rawas have a high multicultural understanding.

Abstract

Community entrepreneurship training is one of strategies to improve community economic empowerment. Entrepreneurship training is carried out to improve the ability of the learners to develop their business. This program was carried out because the community's entrepreneurial ability in the CLC Assolahiyah in Karawang regency was still deficient. The aim of this research is to describe the identification of local resources in the development of entrepreneurship for community empowerment through training and mentoring the community entrepreneurship. The approach in this research is qualitative. Research method used is case study to describe local potential development in community empowerment. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis techniques are interactive models, through the stages of data collection, data reduction, display data, conclusions, and verification. The result concludes that the development strategy of community entrepreneurial program begins with the identification of local potential resources, both natural resources and human resources. The results of the entrepreneurship training are the growth and development of productive skills, technical skills, physical skills, social skills, managerial skills, and intellectual skills of the learner’s entrepreneurship. The impact of developing local potentials in implementing entrepreneurship programs is increasing the empowerment of community entrepreneurship. The indicator is the increase of independence, community empowerment and economic income generation.

Abstract

The existence of Karang taruna is to help the Indonesian Government to provide social welfare is still debate able because of the various condition of Karang taruna. This research aimed to identify and analyze learning needs of Karang Taruna based on its profile that is divided by managerial role, administrative, and entrepreneurship. This research use mix method with the descriptive design. The steps of this research are (1) preliminary study, (2) formulating questionnaire, (3) collecting quantitative data, (4) analyzing quantitative data, (5) collecting qualitative data, (6) analyzing qualitative data, and (7) taking conclusion. The result of this research is (1) at managerial role, developing Karang taruna is need improvement almost in all sub aspect while developed and pilot Karang taruna need improvement in some aspect, (2) at administrative aspect, developing Karang taruna need improvement almost in all aspect while developed and pilot Karang taruna need improvement in some aspect, (3) at entrepreneurship aspect, developing, developed and pilot Karang taruna need improvement almost in all aspects. It can be concluded that all Karang taruna still need improvement at managerial, administrative, and entrepreneurship aspects. So this research provides information that to enhance the human resource development Karang taruna should improve their performance, especially at managerial, administrative, and entrepreneurship aspect. It also suggests the social office to provide development program for Karang taruna based on the weak aspect of Karang taruna. This research also strengthens the implementation of models for developing Karang taruna especially about the learning material that should be delivered.
