This journal was established and initiated by a group of experts in Education Science and Education Counceling in Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry. This journal is published biannually in January and July.

Abstract

Career apathy is very important to support the future / career of students, because it is a demand in life. Career aspiration is an individual orientation towards the desired career goals according to the desired conditions or expectations. One of the factors that influence an individual's career orientation is gender. Problems related to gender or gender greatly affect the achievement of individual career goals, namely in men and women. This research attempts to see the description of career aspiration level of students of gender variables. This study aims to reveal and describe differences in the level of career aspirations of students in terms of gender. The type of research used is descriptive comparative. The hypothesis tested in this study is "There are differences in the level of career aspirations of students in terms of male and female sex". The findings of this study reveal that career aspirations of male and female students are both high-categorized, but there are differences in some indicators. it is hoped that the results of this research can be a guideline for BK teachers in schools in designing career guidance programs for students, as well as to enrich the repertoire of scholarship related to individual career development.

Abstract

Following the flow of transformation and the times today, the discourse on women's leadership turned out to be growing and getting a response from the community, along with the growth and development of Scientific Management (Scientific). Leadership is no longer based on talent, heritage, experience and the male gender, but more than the physical and mental readiness of men and women in a planned towards professionalism. All the program is done through planning, analysis and development systematically to raise stamina leadership qualities in accordance with the spirit of the Shari'ah. This paper discusses the concept of gender equality in representation in college. First, gender equality is seen as a condition when women are placed on an equal footing and given the same rights and obligations as men. Secondly, gender equality is seen as a condition that is expected to bring about a change for a better life. Both representations of gender equality is highly influenced by the history, background, purpose, and vision and mission of the organization for women. Furthermore, the representation is then manifested in features of managerial college.

Abstract

This research is aimed to see the correlation between self-control and internet depedency among teenagers. Parallel with exist theoretical basis, it can be proposed hyphotesis: there is a negative significant correlation between self-control with internet dependy in the digital libarary in the Medan Province library. To prove the hyphothesis above, product moment analysis method was use. Based on the gained data analysis there are three finding found; (1) there is a negative significant correlation between self-control and internet dependency, this result is proven with coeffesient correlation rxy= -0,123. (2) Influence from self-control toward internet dependency based on the data analysis in this study is 15,1% and the rest of it is influnced by other factors. (3) Teenager`s self-control is high, that because the gain empiric everage result is 88,80 and the hypothetical result is 72,5 while intenet depedency is high as well, as the empiric result is 107,90 and hypothetical result 72,5. From the gain study result it is generally described that teenagers have high self-control and hihgh internet depedency.

Abstract

This article described about the results of the study author of the teachers guidance counseling in addressing deviate behavior date students. The effort is an establishment of efforts to achieve what he will. The teachers guidance counseling in addressing deviate behavior date is a efforts to handle the situation done by educator against a series of the joint activity tinged intimacy and the interconnected emotion between men and women who has not been married in preventing behavior in the opposite sex outside the rules applicable norm. There are three efforts, these efforts include preventive measures, efforts to curative, and efforts to coach.

Abstract

The obligation of teaching and educating teenagers to be able to read al-Qur`an well and correctly, it actually encompasses the obligation to find out the correct and effective teaching method. The discovery of iqra` method is a real work of As’ad Humam seen as an effective innovative learning method and sifnificant strive to reduce the number of the blind of reading-writing al-Quran among childern aged 4-6 years and teenagers generally. The use of the rooted Qaidah Baghdadiyah method amidst moslems seen less effective, student`s motivation was low, and the aplication did not develope instutionally. In the same time, anxiousness among Muslims toward blind of reading and writing al-Quran is increasing and unsettling. The discovery of an innovative al-Qur`an learning method could answer the problem of blind of reading-writing al-Quran in real. The innovasion of iqra` method from process aspect is student center learning process, coaching teacher`s profesionalism, and fun and practical learning approach. From the institional development aspect, TPA/TPQ is approved as instituition that organize non-formal Islamic education for learning of reading al-Quran from an early age. Besides, the existence of TPA/TPQ become stronger with the issued Goverment`s Act number 55 year 2007 about Religious Education, the content of the act stated that educaton of al-quran that consits of TKA/TKQ, TPA/TPQ, Ta`limul Quran lil Aulda (TQA), and any other of the same form. This shows that the strive to eradicate ”the blind of reading-writing al-Quran” in Indonesia has had a strong base legalization. While the support factors to speed up the innovasion are the informed clarity ideas, have regional support and have good institutional managerial skills.

Abstract

Depression in daily life can give less flavor / discomfort, but it can also provide a sense of comfort. As an element that gives a sense of comfort it can be utilized, can be enjoyed, as well as the taste them, as well as a driving force to get ahead in life. As a factor that gives disires, it will cause a lot of complaints, in a state of acute anxiety in the form, in the form of chronic, physical or mental disorder, boredom, fatigue and eventually death. Management of depression is certainly pursuant nature. When he weighed on benefits in his life should be enjoyed. When he raises depression, in a state of acute, there are various alternatives to resolve it, either to the stress itself or its aftermath. In a state of chronic disorders that arise must be dealt with treatment. Here the role of the cooperation of various fields of medicine necessary if the interference is onganik. Psiklatri important role precisely in the face of such disorders. In the face of psychiatric disorders mural there are options on how to face up to the psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the performance of counselors in the counseling process and the research process in high school. This study is an evaluation study to collect and analyze data systematically with regard to the performance of counselors in the counseling process and performance of counselors in research and the constraints that it faces. The results of this study indicate that the performance of counselors in the counseling process in general has been quite good, but in some aspects are still many weaknesses and shortcomings, among them: the data on identification of potential and problems of students is not complete, the purpose of counseling is not defined precisely in choosing / determining counseling intervention is still dominated by the problem of students, guidance and counseling services group and content mastery rarely implemented. Performance counselor in the research process is still tergolog very low because most of the counselors never carry PTK-BK, a small portion counselor believes that research counseling is less important and not important, most counselors rarely identify research questions, rarely formulate the design/ research proposal and a fraction counselor never established a design/ research proposal. The main obstacle counselor in research is lacking writing exercise science, lack of understanding of research methodology, less reading, there are no available references that are relevant, not master the technique of writing scientific, less able to formulate research problems, lack of awareness of the importance of research, lack of financial support, and a fraction counselor unskilled using a computer.

Abstract

Multicutural is a term used to describe one's view of the variety of life in the world, or cultural policy emphasizing their acceptance of diversity, and a wide range of cultures (multicultural) that exist in society regarding values, system, culture, customs and politics that they profess. The effectiveness of counseling depends on many factors the most important is the relation to each other, and mutual understanding between counselor and client. Cultural differences that exist in this country requires the counselor needs to understand the different cultures that exist. Importance of multicultural for counselors as a form of consciousness that the counselor and client have cultural differences. Multicultural counseling a counseling relationship with the concept that there is a counselor with a client who has a cultural background, values and different lifestyles. Building a good relationship when the counseling process takes place so that the counselor can understand the culture of its clients one of the key attitudes that exist within konsleor is empathy. Counselors who have empathy will be able to understand the way the world through the perspective of the client.

Abstract

Indonesia is the country which does uphold norms and values of its people. Homosexual/Lesbian for most of eartern people is declared as not common sexual orientation. Negative stigma from people caused social anxious for homosexual community. For minority anxiouses show up all togather with attact or negative perpective from society, the strict eastern culture with binding social norms, will give social punishment to individual deviant behaviour such as homosexialbehaviour through humiliation to isolation. This condition become the main problem for homosexual community. They feel that they as minority. Though there is a proggres of confession over homosexual community rights, research on history, sosiology, and psycology show there is hobiophobia and sxual prejudice from all over the world. Utilization of sources, demograpics, and high ducation evidently efffect the perception over minority. For professional or institution that shade homsexual, it is expected to be able to give psychoeducation, training, or any other intervansion that are able to reeducate social anxious homosexual/lesbian community. We can prevent through rehabilitaion or briefing to to this community

Abstract

Educational institution is an institution of the brain industry. Therefore, education is a vehicle for mental exercise. With education will be able to sharpen the brain to form human beings quality. Qualified people are intelligent human beings comprehensive and competitive savvy are reflected in personal moral, creative, and productive and full responsibility in living our daily lives. But the spotlight and complaints against educational institutions still occur, various perceived problems among students learn the lower interest. Students tend to subjects who tested nationally (National Examination), the methods used by teachers in teaching the more commonly used methods of lecture and question and answer, sometimes the discussion so that the lessons seem monotonous and less innovative, subjects received more students cederung nature doctrine in the form of memorization alone and rarely developed in the context of everyday life so that lessons just more leads to mastery of concepts and tend to train cognitive abilities-intellectual, not a lot of touching the realm of other intelligence in accordance with the potential of the students. The other problem is the tendency of the still rampant behavior is not commendable at this time in various forms, for example, students commit suicide because they do not pass the exam, involved in drugs, fighting between students, the behavior of cheating, careless, style punky, smoking, going out, and so become a reason for choosing this topic as study materials. The problem is what strengthens the belief writers to examine and assess the importance of the development of multiple intelligence through integrative learning-based game in an attempt to develop students' potential intelligence to realize a comprehensive and intelligent smart students competitive. This paper formulated into some discussion that begins with an introduction that lists reasons for the importance of this issue is discussed, and then forwarded to the review of the concept of multiple intelligence. Followed by a study on the definition, purpose and benefits of the games, the development of multiple intelligence through integrative learning-based games and ending with examples of games in integrative learning process.
