Abstract

The use of electric power in modern times has become a very vital thing. Electrical energy is a necessity in various activities. The need for electrical energy is increasing from time to time, especially large industries such as PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero Tbk.). the amount of electricity consumption causes electricity costs to become large. Then the office relocation program was launched to reduce electricity consumption, especially in the Administration Cold Rolling Mill Building PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero Tbk.). Retrieval of data Savings obtained from the relocation of this office amounted to 365,523.8 kWh / year, with a saved cost of Rp 439,396,208 / year. The average Energy Use Intensity for each non-AC room of the ADB CRM building is 12.78 / m2 / year with an area of 531.75 m2. The average Energy Use Intensity for each air-conditioned room in the ADB CRM building is 161.21 / m2 / year with an area of 2180.05 m2. When compared with the ECI standard, the EUI value of non-AC and air-conditioned rooms is still in the efficient category. EUI values that fall into the category of waste are non-AC rooms in the Accounting Sub-Directorate. The EUI values included in the waste category are air-conditioned rooms in the Financial Accounting Division 2, Management Accounting, SABM Sub-Directorate, and the SCI Division. Each room has a value of IKE 194.59 kWh / m2 / yr, 193.42 kWh / m2 / yr, 194.85 kWh / m2 / yr, and 218.15 kWh / m2 / yr.

Abstract

The effect of shadows that occur naturally due to the movement of the sun so that the radiance is exposed to trees and buildings before getting to the surface of the solar panels certainly affects the output power produced in the hydropower of the hydropower. This study used photovoltaic type polycrystalline, with observation data conducted in the campus environment IT-PLN. From the results of the study obtained that the power of 51.75 Watts occurred at 11.30 WIB, but when taken into account in real data the output power was obtained by 29.49 Watts at its peak power, it meant the shadow effect occurred by 84.217% at 12.30 WIB. Based on this, there can be a decrease in power by 43,582 Watts while when using the calculation of output power in real data there is a decrease of 25,155 Watts with a large shadow effect of 85,311% can be inferred the greater the shadow value that occurs the less power generated by a solar panel.

Abstract

The storage tank is one of the most important operating units used in the generation process. This operating unit functions as water storage which will later be used as raw material for making steam. To maintain the mass balance system and the energy balance system in the storage tank, a proper control system is needed. One of the variables controlled in this operating unit is implementing a level control system. In a process control system, key knowledge is needed, namely determining the process variable (PV), manipulated variable (MV), and disturbance variable (DV). If it is wrong in determining the three types of variables, then the output from the control system that we provide is not by the value we want (setpoint). Analysis of degrees of freedom (DOF) is used to determine the number of manipulated variables in the storage tank operation unit. To determine the number of variable numbers and the number of equation numbers can be used by looking at the mathematical equation model of the storage unit operation. Meanwhile, to determine the number of variables used in the above equation is to choose the type of variable that affects the process if the variable is changed. PID tunning needs to be done to determine the best proportional, derivative, and integral constant values, which later the output we want is the same as the setpoint value. Cohen Coon is a PID tunning method that can tolerate a constant amplitude oscillation state. Cohen-Coon is trying to improve the oscillation method by using the quarter amplitude decay method. The closed-loop response system, in this method, is made so that the response is in the form of a quarter amplitude decay. Quarter amplitude decay is defined as a transient response whose amplitude in the first period has a ratio of one quarter (1/4).

Abstract

Atmosferic pressure plasma can sterilize Escherichia coli bacteria because many ions and reactice species, such as oxygen and ozon atoms are generated during discharge using emission epectroscopy and the observed emission spectrum is atomic oxygen 394.2 and 436.8 nm and the second positive system nitrogen 337.1 nm.The experiment results showed that DBD treatment for 70 seconds of sterilized Escherichia coli was 99.99% effective and ozone molecules were were dominat bacterial species. From these result it can be concluded that the pulsed DBD system is very effective for sterilization.The result of designing medical equipment for sterilization and disinfection viruces are suitable and can be used to kill echerichia coli bacteria from the result of experiment conducted.Keywords : atmospheric microplasma, virus sterilization and disinfection, airbone viruces, surfave colonized viruces.

Abstract

 Chest-X ray (CXR) radiography can be used as a first-line triage process for non-COVID-19 patients with pneumonia. However, the similarity between features of CXR images of COVID-19 and pneumonia caused by other infections make the differential diagnosis by radiologists challenging. We hypothesized that machine learning-based classifiers can reliably distinguish the CXR images of COVID-19 patients from other forms of pneumonia. We used a dimensionality reduction method to generate a set of optimal features of CXR images to build an efficient machine learning classifier with Nvidia Jetson Nano that can distinguish COVID-19 cases from non-COVID-19 cases with high accuracy and sensitivity. By using global features of the whole CXR images, we were able to successfully implement our classifier using a relatively small dataset of CXR images. We propose that our COVID-Classifier can be used in conjunction with other tests for optimal allocation of hospital resources by rapid triage of non-COVID-19 cases.

Abstract

PLTU X is an industrial power plant with a large consumption of electrical energy for its own use. In ISO50001, every industry with a large Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) needs to be audited for energy consumption. The company performance contract also regulates that the percentage of own use should not exceed 6% of electricity production. Currently, the percentage of own use in PLTU X unit 5 is greater than unit 4. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct an energy audit for own use with the aim of reducing the percentage of own use in unit 5 by 0.5% from current conditions and finding opportunities for energy savings at PLTU X unit 5. To analyze this problem using the energy audit method, analysis using the performance test method using the "gate cycle" and testing the quality of the voltage source by measuring using power quality analysis. After finding the equipment with the greatest energy consumption, fish bone tools were used to find the main cause of this abnormality.

Abstract

A minimum system with a back-up battery based-on the Arduino MEGA2560 R3 microcontroller for incubator operation has been created. The square box incubator has a maximum capacity of 35 chicken’s eggs, detector based control system for the absence of mains supply voltage, DHT-11 temperature and relative humidity sensors, and the Arduino MEGA2560 R3 module. Programming based-on algorithms and preparation of syntax, while verification test done through simulation assisted by Proteus application. System performance for the process of moving the source of electric power supply from the PLN electricity line to the battery power line is controlled by a microcontroller based on input from the detection of the absence of supply source voltage. Minimum system performance, including the performance of the process of moving the main source of supply lines to the reserve line and controlling the operation of the incubator which includes controlling the relative temperature and humidity values and the period of movement of the egg rack.

Abstract

Radio FM adalah sistem komunikasi radio yang menggunakan Frekuensi Modulasi(FM). Radio FM memiliki keunggulan seperti kualitas suara yang lebih bagus, jernih, dan bebas dari gangguan siaran dibandingkan dengan radio AM. Proyek akhir ini bermaksud untuk membuat sistem pemancar radio FM, pembuatan sistem pemancar radio FM ini diharapkan dapat dipakai untuk penyiaran di lingkungan Fakultas Ilmu Terapan Telkom University, karena nantinya sistem pemancar FM ini akan diatur untuk menyiarkan informasi pada frekuensi yang telah diatur untuk radio komunitas.pemancar FM yang dibuat adalah sistem pemancar FM digital, sistem pemancar FM ini memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibanding dengan sistem pemancar FM analog. Sistem pemancar FM digital ini akan dibuat menggunakan board FPGA DE-10 Lite keluaran Intel. Dari proses perancangan ,FM transmitter digital yang dibuat sudah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, yaitu menggunakan FPGA dengan type board DE-10 Lite keluaran Intel dengan perancangan menggunakan bahasa verilog. FM transmitter ini sudah dapat bekerja pada frekuensi yang diatur untuk radio komunitas yaitu 107,7MHz-107,9MHz, dan pengiriman data audionya menggunakan baudrate 230400bit/second dengan 8 bit data, 2 stop bit dan tidak menggunakan bit parity.

Abstract

The research describes the performance and accuracy of various interconnected sensors from the measurement results of photovoltaic energy conversion from power plants connected to the electricity grid from PLN. In data retrieval, PLX-DAQ software is used as a software for data loggers. The hardware used is a Pollycristallin type solar panel with a capacity of 2.08 kW, Arduino, and several sensor components that are used as hardware. In this developed tool, the component used to measure the temperature and surface of the panel is the DHT11 sensor, the component for measuring DC current is the ACS1712 sensor, the component for measuring DC voltage is the ZMPT101B sensor, and the component for measuring currents and voltages sourced from PLN electricity is sensor PZEM-004. Arduino will record data from these components, which is then interfaced to Excel Spreadsheet processing in the form of presenting data tables and graphics in real time. The DC voltage sensor calibration test has an average error of 0.63% and an AC voltage of 0.42%, while the DC current sensor has an average error of 2.21%, and the AC sensor current has an average error of 2.07% with all sensors in the normal reading limit category. The measurement results with the maximum electrical energy consumption capacity in the DC power measurement reached 1777.8 W, while for the maximum AC power capacity measurement it reached a value of 1834 W and occurred during peak loads at 12.00 PM.

Abstract

Penggunaan inkubator untuk menetaskan telur ayam sudah tidak asing bagi bagi peternak ayam di negeri ini. Hambatan yang dialami dalam penetasan telur ayam yaitu pada inkubator tidak ada alat notifikasi bahwa telur ayam telah menetas. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode yaitu frame difference merupakan metode untuk mencari perbedaan absolute dari tangkapan frame dalam sebuah vidio dan juga kamera.pembedaan objek pada metode ini berbasis pada nilai pixel. Hasil dari implementasi pengolahan citra digital deteksi telur ayam yang menetas pada inkubator penetas telur progam dapat memantau dan memberikan isyarat jika ada telur yang menetas dengan nilai area yang ditetapkan sebesar 1200 piksel2 sehingga sistem dapat mendeteks adanya pergerakan telur pada luas area sebesar 850 piksel2 dan mendeteksi telur menetas pada luas area 1950 piksel2.
