Abstract

The purpose of making modules is to determine the level of convenience when used by students. Research conducted at Urumb Middle School has been carried out well, while the Natural Sciences module has been tested on students. The research method is the ADDIE R&D model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Evaluation is the final stage to make improvements after receiving advice and comments from material experts, teachers and students. The results of the study showed that the material expert validation was 92.5%, the teacher validation was 93.7%, and the student validation was 88.8% so that it was categorized as very valid and suitable for use

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the respondents' perceptions of the need for an interactive bilingual e-book with a constructivism approach to the Ethnochemical study material. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach carried out in the Department of English Language Education and the Department of Chemistry Education at Musamus University. The subjects in this study were 11 Chemistry Education students who had taken the Basic English and Contextual Chemistry (Ethnochemistry) courses. The instrument used in this study was an open questionnaire and interview guidelines. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) students were not introduced to topics related to local wisdom in the learning Basic English and Ethnochemistry courses, (2) students needed to be facilitated with interactive bilingual e-books with a constructivism approach to Ethnochemical study materials in Basic English and Ethnochemistry courses (3) obtained 5 (five) local wisdom that can be discussed in relation to chemical materials, namely Pineapple, Crown Leaves, Shellfish, Papeda, and Asinan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran muatan lokal di sekolah merupakan pembelajaran yang mengajarkan tentang budaya / kearifan lokal daerah setempat. Dalam K13, pembelajaran muatan lokal ini diintegrasikan dalam mata pelajaran seni budaya, prakarya, dan juga olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal di SMA di Merauke. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara pembagian angket dan juga wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran seni budaya di sekolah telah berjalan dengan baik. Namun begitu, secara kualitas, pembelajaran ini belum berjalan dengan baik. Dalam pembelajaran, siswa hanya diperkenalkan dengan budaya Merauke seperti kerajinan tangan, tari-tarian, dan makanan khas Merauke, tanpa diberitahukan sejarah dan arti dari budaya tersebut. Salah satu kendala dalam pembelajaran seni budaya/prakarya adalah tidak adanya guru yang ahli dalam bidang seni itu sendiri. Sekolah dan pemerintah dapat bekerja sama untuk mengatasi hal ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Miring menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMK Negeri 1 Tanah Miring pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 25 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus yang terdiri dari empat kegiatan utama, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi yang masing-masing dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar dilakukan dengan tes akhir belajar pada setiap akhir siklus. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis kuantitatif data hasil belajar fisika menunjukkan bahwa jumlah peserta didik yang tergolong tuntas belajarnya pada siklus I hanya mencapai 52,6% dan pada siklus II baru mencapai 65,1%. Hasil ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan sebesar 12,5%. Hasil analisis kualitatif menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran fisika melalui pendekatan ilmiah di dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika melalui pendekatan ilmiah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermaksud mengembangkan bahan ajar membaca berbasis pendekatan kontekstual bagi peserta didik kelas 4 SD. Penelitian menggunakan modifikasi model Dick and Carey yang meliputi: (1) identifikasi tujuan umum pembelajaran, (2) melaksanakan analisis pembelajaran, (3) melaksanakan analisis siswa dan konteks pembelajaran, (4) membuat rumusan tujuan khusus pembelajaran, (5) melaksanakan pengembangan instrumen penilaian, (6) melaksanakan pengembangan strategi pembelajaran, (7) memilih dan melakukan pegembangan bahan pembelajaran, , (8) membuat rancangan dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif pembelajaran, (9) melaksanakan revisi pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kelayakan bahan ajar membaca mencapai 3,8 (sangat valid). Hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 95% (sangat terlaksana). Hasil respon guru dan siswa memperoleh persentase 98% dan 95% (sangat praktis). Simpulan penelitian yakni pengembangan bahan ajar membaca berbasis pendekatan kontekstual layak dan praktis digunakan oleh siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: bahan ajar membaca, pendekatan kontekstual. Abstract: This research objective were to develop the reading material based on contextual approach of grade 4 elementary school students. This development research using Dick and Carey modification model which consisted of: (1) identify instructional goals, (2) conduct instructional analysis, (3) analyze learner and context, (4) write performance objectives (5) develop assessment instrument, (6) develop instructional strategy, (7) develop and select instructional methode, (8) design and conduct formatif evaluation of instruction, (9) revise instruction. Data collection using questioner, observation and test. Data was analyzed quantitative descriptively. Research result obtained reading material validity as big as 3.8 with very valid category. learning implementation observation result obtained percentage 95% with implemented category. Teacher and student responds obtained percentage 98% and 95% with very practical category. Research result discussion showed that the development of reading material based contextual approach valid and practical used by grade 4 elementary school students. Abstract

Picture prompt is media combination pictures and clues. This study was conducted to find out the effectiveness of picture prompt as a media to improve students’ ability in writing descriptive text. This used an experimental method. Based on the test scores in the pre-test and post-test, there were significant developments. This can be seen in the percentage value of each test. The percentage of the post-test was 58.1% in the control class and then the post-test developed to 79.03% in the experimental class. It is implied that using pictures with instructions can develop the students’ writing descriptive text ability. Therefore, students are able to express themselves creatively and cogently. Abstract

This study aims todescribe the improvement of poetry writing skills with brain-writing techniques to the forth students at State Primary School 1 of Cepoko Ponorogo. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with research subjects is poetry writing skills of the fourth grade student at State Primary School 1 of Cepoko Ponorogo in two cycles. Each cycle has four components, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research data obtained through observations and tests. The data analysis technique used comparative descriptive analysis technique. The data validity technique used in this research is triangulation technique of data collection. Results of the research reveal that improvement is measured used four aspects, namely, the accuracy of the theme and meaning, language style, diction and rhyme. Before using contextual approach and brain-writing technique the study obtained an average grade of 68. This value is below the Minimum Completeness Criteria of 75. In the first cycle, the average value was 75. Obtained 59% or 19 students had reached the Minimal Completeness Criteria (MCC). However, this percentage does not meet the achievement indicator, which is 75% or 24 students scored above the MCC. In Cycle II, the average value of writing student poetry rose to 84. Of 32 students, 27 students or 84% had achieved a minimum completeness value. It can be concluded, the target of 75% of students getting a minimum mastery value can be achieved. Thus, the application through brain-writing techniques can improve poetry writing skills of the fourth grade students at State Primary School 1 of Cepoko Ponorogo
