Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership style, interpersonal communication to employee job satisfaction and its effect on employee performance. The method used in this study is path analysis with SPSS application version 21. These results indicate that the relationship of leadership style on employee job satisfaction has a contribution of 0.24, while the relationship between leadership style on the performance of employees have a contribution of 0.279. In addition, the relationship between interpersonal communication on employee job satisfaction has a contribution of 0.131, whilst the relationship of interpersonal communication on the employee's performance has contributed of 0.448. The employee satisfaction relationship to employee performance has a contribution of 0.185. As for the total effect of leadership style through employee satisfaction on the performance of employees have a contribution of 0.323 and the total effect of interpersonal communication through employee satisfaction to employee performance has contributed 0.472.

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 leads to an increase in job competition. It should eventually be prepared with personal competence, especially for students in the Department of Office Administration Education. The study aims to develop an interactive e-learning media as a virtual laboratory on a meeting organization course. This study aimed to examine the eligibility of the media and to know the response of the students. This study applied a research and development (R & D) model which developed by Borg and Gall. This virtual laboratory is designed with some attractive features such as (1) meeting schedule, (2) start the meeting, (3) meeting minutes, (4) content sharing, (5) chat, (6) meeting materials, (7) record the meeting, (8) and contact. The current research product is E-Learning media, an interactive virtual laboratory worth applying in the learning activities developed by the researchers. It is made based on the validation of the experts and the positive response of the students.

Abstract

The purpose of research are analyze differences in the ability of understanding the concept and office management skills among students who learn by inquiry learning model with the students following the model of teaching direct (Direct Instruction). This study was an experimental study, the design of post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all students of Education Studies Program Office Administration FE UM 3rd semester who take courses Office Management numbering 164 people consisting of four classes. Sample selection is done randomly to four existing classes (cluster random sampling), was elected class ADP 1 and ADP as an experimental class using enquiry learning model and class ADP 2 and ADP 4 using the model of teaching direct (Direct Instruction). Based on the results of testing the hypothesis by using MANOVA, it can be concluded that there are differences in the ability of understanding the concept and office management skills among the group of students who follow the teaching learning model Enquiry Guided compared with a group of students studying the teaching model directly (Direct Instruction). Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan ketrampilan manajemen perkantoran antara mahasiswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Inquiri dengan mahasiswa yang mengikuti model Pengajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran FE UM semester 3 yang menempuh mata kuliah Manajemen Perkantoran yang jumlahnya 164 orang yang terdiri dari empat kelas . Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak terhadap 4 kelas yang ada (cluster random sampling), terpilih kelas ADP 1dan ADP 3sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Inquiri dan kelas ADP 2 dan ADP 4 menggunakan model Pengajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan MANOVA, dapat diambil simpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan ketrampilan manajemen perkantoran antara kelompok mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Inquiri Terbimbing dibandingkan dengan kelompok mahasiswa yang belajar dengan model pengajaran langsung (Direct Instruction).

Abstract

Abstract : The goal is to produce a product in the form of business communication learning modules based on curriculum 2013 on the business communication subject with the material of negotiation techniques that have been through the validation process.Product development model of this learning module is done by using a modification of the measures of research and development proposed by Borg & Gall consisted of a needs analysis, product development, validation expert, revision, testing and final products of limited use. The type of data in this study is done by using quantitative data and qualitative data. The quantitative data is in the form of suggestions, comments, and criticisms of the valuator that are used as consideration in the revision of the learning modules that has been developed. The results of product test process are supported by the results obtained from the expert validation module that has gained 97.73%, 86.10% from the material experts, and 86.50% from the linguists and from student is 85.30%. Therefore, if the results are calculated as a whole, it gained an average of 88.91%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the Learning Module of Business Communications based on Curriculum 2013 is declared fit and can be used in the process of learning for negotiation techniques material in SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri.Abstrak : Tujuan penelitihan adalah menghasilkan produk berupa modul pembelajaran komunikasi bisnis berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 pada mata pelajaran komunikasi bisnis dengan materi teknik negosiasi yang telah melalui proses validasi.Model pengembangan produk modul pembelajaran ini menggunakan modifikasi dari langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk, validasi ahli, revisi, uji penggunaan terbatas dan produk akhir. Jenis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Data kuantitatif berupa saran, tanggapan, dan kritik dari validator yang digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam melakukan revisi terhadap modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil proses uji coba produk tersebut didukung dengan hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari ahli kepenulisan modul sebesar 97,73%, ahli materi sebesar 86,10%, ahli bahasa sebesar 86,50%, dan uji coba pengguna siswa sebesar 85,30%, sehingga apabila hasil tersebut dihitung secara keseluruhan diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 88,91%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Pembelajaran Komunikasi Bisnis Berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran materi teknik negosiasi di SMK Pawyatan Daha 1 Kediri.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce a project-based psychomotor assessment instrument in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, on Marketing Mix Competence and to measure student learning outcomes. A research method that was used in this article is Research and Development (R&D). The data was obtained from validation experts, students' understanding of 12 students, as well as student learning outcomes. The validation result of the contents of psychomotor assessment instruments by expert validators which consist of 1 lecturer and 2 teachers are 94 percent and 92.8 percent. Meanwhile, validation of the project by expert validators is about 95 percent and 93.8 percent, respectively. The results of readability test (comprehension) obtained by the students of tenth-grade of Online Business and Marketing Expertise class with 90.2 percent. While the results of student learning in the product label sketch with an average final score of 3.82. Based on the results of content validation and readability test it can be concluded that the project-based psychomotor assessment instrument to measure student learning outcomes is feasible to be used in the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the pattern of entrepreneurship education in Chinese ethnic families of SMK students at Negeri 1 Pasuruan. The research approach was a descriptive qualitative case study. The results of the study showed that Chinese ethnic students' families taught their children entrepreneurship from childhood by getting used to participating in business practices that had been done, family education was able to shape students' perspectives to be more open and broad-minded, key principles taught was the unique values that they had been held and believed for generations. The element of the entrepreneurial spirit that was formed includes self-confidence, willingness, and interest in entrepreneurship, and locus of control.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the efforts that need to be done in facing the readiness of the working world for vocational education by developing self-concept and self efficacy. The increasingly intense work competition in the current era makes vocational education graduates should prepare themselves to be better prepared in facing the world of work. This is done by developing self-concept that can be formed through the planting of strong religious values, self-confidence, self-acceptance. The more we have a positive self-concept then success will be as expected. Self-efficacy is a physiological and emotional condition, expected to increase the ability to work and adapt to the work environment more easily, because self efficacy shows the implementation of processes that have been done during the previous learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the description of job environment, job motivation, and teachers’ competence and to know the effect of job environment and job motivation on the teachers’ competence. Type of this research is a descriptive correlation using a quantitative approach. The population of this study was all certified teachers in State Vocational High School 1 Pasuruan, namely 68 teachers and the sample was all population. This study used Likert scale with 5 alternative answers. The data collecting in this study used the questionnaire as the instrument. Before the questionnaire was distributed, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested.  For to know the result of this study used multiple regression linear and t-test. The result showed the variable of job environment is very good, the variable of job motivation is good, and the variable of teachers’ competence is good, and the variable of job environment and job motivation significance positive effect on the teachers’ competence. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui deskripsi lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan kompetensi guru dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kompetensi guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru yang bersertifikasi di SMK Negeri 1 Pasuruan yang berjumlah 68 guru dan sampelnya adalah seluruh populasi. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala Likert dengan 5 alternatif jawaban. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kuesioner dan sebelum kuesioner digunakan untuk penelitian, dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas terlebih dahulu. Untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan uji t. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel lingkungan kerja tergolong sangat baik, variabel motivasi kerja tergolong baik, dan variabel kompetensi guru tergolong baik, dan variabel lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to investigate the influence of satisfaction and motivation of teacher performance. The method of this research is explanatory survey. Data were collected by questionnaire rating scale 5 scale models. Respondent are teachers of state Vocational High School. Respondent are teachers of State Vocational High School in Cimahi. Data analysis technique using regression. The finding of this research indicated that satisfaction and motivation have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, either partially or simultaneously. The research concluded that the teacher’s performance can be improved by improving the satisfaction and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine effect of internship experience, achievement motivation, self-efficacy on entrepreneurship intention. This research did to students of SMKN 1 Banyuwangi, the sample was don by using proportional ramdom sampling. Based on the resultas, internship experience and self-efficacy is a significant positive effect on the entrepreneurship intention, but there is no significant positive effect achievement motivation on the entrepreneurship intention. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pengalaman praktik kerja industri, motivasi berprestasi, keyakinan diri terhadap intensi berwirausaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa SMKN 1 Banyuwangi, sampling menggunakan metode Proportional Random, dan analisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengalaman praktik kerja industri dan keyakinan diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha, adapun motivasi berprestasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi berwirausaha.
