Abstract

Greywater reuse is considered as one solution in solving water scarcity problem in the world because it is less contagious and less polluting to environment than the entire municipal wastewater. Greywater is easier to treat and reuse it. One possibility to treat greywater is using constructed wetland followed by an advanced oxidation process such as photocatalytic oxidation. This process removes organic materials in waste water by oxidation via hydroxyl radicals. There was discussion about the effects of the solution inorganic matrix such as borate on the photocatalytic oxidation. Borate a common constituent of greywater was reported to inhibit photocatalytic oxidation. This research tried to determine the effect of boric acid on photocatalytic oxidation spiked with boric acid in concentration of 5 to 200 mg/L using aqueous TetraEGDME solutions. It was found that there is no inhibition of photocatalytic oxidation process when boric acid is present and pH is acidic (about 4-5).

Abstract

The research was conducted in January-September 2017 and will continue until December 2017 at Gunung Leuser National Park Resort Tenggulun, Aceh Tamiang District, Aceh Province. The method used to determine the vegetation density is purposive sampling by using a combination of line method and the method of with 20 m x 20 m. For determination of litter productivity by using Litter Trap method, and to analyze physical and chemical content of soil by laboratory test and calculate soil fauna density (biological factor) location determination by using line transect along 100 m, then on every line taken 10 point by method Systematic Sampling is systematically on the 3 (three) research sites that have been determined. Based on the research results for the highest density of tree vegetation found in plot 4 with the absolute density of 175 Ind/ ha this is in line with the highest litter productivity value also found at high density (plot 4) which is 14,5 gr/m2/week. Physical chemical factors are found in high density of air temperature 26 0C, humidity 80 %, soil temperature 25 0C, light intensity 118 Candella, soil pH 5.6, C-Organic 4.80 %, N-Total 0.55%, C/N of 4,24 %, P-Bray 23,03 ppm and K-tukar 0,41 Me/100.

Abstract

Peredaran minuman ringan tak berlabel yang dijual oleh pedagang kaki lima dalam proses produksi masih diragukan keamanannya sehingga menimbulkan keresahan pada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, perlu pengetahuan tentang food safety knowladge and practice. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan keamanan produk dibutuhkan penerapan HACCP. HACCP menggunakan Panduan Penyusunan Rencana HACCP yang direkomendasikan oleh Standar Nasional Indonesia. Hasil HACCP menunjukan bahwa yang ditetapkan sebagai CCP adalah proses perebusan air mineral, penambahan pewarna/sirup/bubuk pop ice dan pengemasan. Penerapan HACCP yang sesuai akan meningkatkan kualitas dan keamanan produk minuman ringan tak berlabel yang dijual pedagang kaki lima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini digunakan untuk menetapkan batasan-batasan masalah dan objek yang akan diteliti dengan mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan kemampuan siswa berdasarkan data nilai siswa. Setelah itu melakukan proses tranformasi data nilai siswa di SMA Negeri 5 Kota Banda Aceh, Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam yang terdiri dari rata-rata nilai rapor (UN), nilai Pra UN dan nilai UN. Dan menganalisis data nilai siswa tersebut menggunakan teory rough set, sehingga menemukan sebuah pola atau knowledge yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi tingkat kelulusan siswa dalam UN berikutnya.

Abstract

Padi hitam mempunyai potensi cukup besar dikembangkan, karena mengandung antioksidan, vitamin BI, makroelemen serta mineral yang sangat baik untuk kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, produktivitas padi hitam harus ditingkatkan, Namun, padi memiliki tinggi batang semu yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan padi yang lain sehingga rentan terhadap kerobohan. Oleh karena itu perlu diaplikasikan paklobutrazol dan pupuk organik cair untuk menurunkan tinggi batang semu serta meningkatkan ketebalan diameter batang semu sehingga tahan terhadap kerebahan. Penelitian dilakukan di "Green House" dan areal pertanian dengan menggunakan RALK 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah aplikasi paklobutrazol yang terdiri atas 4 konsentrasi, yaitu: 0 ppm, 10 ppm, 20 ppm atau 30 ppm diberikan pada saat perkecambahan. Faktor kedua adalah aplikasi pupuk oganik cair yang terdiri atas 4 konsentrasi, yaitu: 0 ml (kontrol)/pot, 0.6 ml/pot, 1.2 ml/ pot dan 1.8 ml/pot diberikan saat tanaman berumur 4, 8 dan 12 minggu. Parameter yang diamati yaitu: ketebalan anatomi batang, panjang berkas pengangkut dan tebal kortek batang semu tanaman padi hitam. Analisis data dengan ANAVA, jika terdapat perbedaan dilanjutkan dengan DMRT. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Software SPPS 21.0padataraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi paklobutrazol 30 ppm tunggal berpengaruh nyata terhadap ketebalan anatomi batang, panjang berkas pengangkut dan, tebal kortek.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan isolat potensial bakteri asam laktat kandididat probiotik yang mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri patogen. Terdapat 3 tahap dalam penelitian yaitu isolasi, karakterisasi dan uji potensi bakteri asam laktat dalam menghambat bakteri patogen. Sumber isolat bakteri asam laktat diperoleh dari susu fermentasi, sawi fermentasi dan saluran pencernaan ikan. Tiga jenis bakteri patogen yang digunakan meliputi: Eschericia coli, Salmonella thypii dan Sghigella dysentriae. Ketiga jenis bakteri ini mewakili bakteri yang umum menyerang saluran pencernaan. Enam isolat bakteri asam laktat berhasil diisolasi dari 3 jenis sampel berbeda. Isolat tersebut adalah BAL01, BAL02, BAL03, BAL04, BAL05 dan BAL06. Kemampuan antagonis masing – masing isolat berbeda dalam menghambat bakteri patogen. Isolat BAL01 DAN BAL02 mampu menghambat E. coli dengan zona hambat sebesar 9.25 mm. Isolat BAL02 mampu menghambat S. Thypii dengan zona hambat sebesar 8.5 mm. Sedangkan zona hambat terbesar dalam menghambat S. dysentriae ditunjukkan oleh isolat BAL03 yaitu sebesar 11 mm.

Abstract

Even though the water is supplied from Water Treatment Plant 24 hours a day, some consumers of Tirta Daroy Water Supply Company receive water in their taps intermittently. This condition leads to several reported pipe breaks and coliforms presence, as well. Tirta Daroy conducts a quality control activity so called Pamkor on regular basis. This study is conducted to analyse data obtained from this activity during 2014, with the focus on the total coliforms for total 161 sampling connections. The result demonstrates that the coliforms presence is encouraged by the low chlorine residual and intermittent supply. Additional finding shows these two conditions occur mainly at the areas which have long distance to the water treatment plant.

Abstract

Glass as a material in building facades is rarely applied in a large scale, especially in design of office buildings, within Aceh province. Since Aceh is located in the area with dynamic earthquake activities, building design in this area required higher degree of concern in relation to better refrain from earthquake movements. Nowadays, glass technology that could withstand the seismic effects while sustaining seismic loads is available. To bring this new technology into design of office buildings in Aceh, the paper aims to measure the suitability and level of acceptance of the technology among Acehnese people by conducting some methods of cost comparison and cost savings. In this regard, a comparison in dead loads of a sample building with conventional cavity walls against that of high performance glazing system in a façade of the building was performed. The results indicated that the cost for glass technology are twice higher compared with cavity wall. But in the dead loads part, the glass material are 13.8 times more lighter than cavity wall

Abstract

In order to minimize the losses caused by lightning, a lightning disaster management system is compulsory. It should provide lightning disaster information in an area to get the risk values of lightning strikes. One way is to establish a lightning disaster risk map. The disaster risk map consists of hazard map, vulnerability map and capacity map. However, lightning yet has not been included in the regulation guiding the establishment of risk map for several disasters in Indonesia. This study is conducted to develop a process to determine general hazard index for lightning disaster.

Abstract

Supervision is a series of activities ranging from planning to monitoring results to complete the follow-up to the recommendations contained in the Report of Examination (LHP), which aims to see the commitment of the leadership of the examination results and performance improvement work units (SKPD). Inspectorate is one element that has the task of internal supervision within the Ministry. Inspectorate in recording the results of monitoring internally is still done manually, from the issuance of task orders, recording examination report (LHP) and the follow-up examination (TLHP) is often contained errors and were often late, so the inspector trouble to report the findings of disciplinary violations performed by employees each SKPD. To overcome the delays and errors LHP and TLHP would require an information system monitoring using methods Design System Research Method (DSRM), which consists of six (6) steps, namely the identification of problems, setting goals, designing architecture in client server and system design using UML , case studies, evaluation and communication. With this system is expected to help finance a part in issuing the warrant task quickly, and the administration can make the results of the examination report (LHP) in accordance with the code of the findings and recommendations of code that has been assigned the CPC to be followed up by the Inspector.
