Abstract

Pendidikan dasar secara umum terbagi dalam dua lembaga pendidikan yakni sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah pertama. Proses pendidikan yang berlangsung di sekolah dasar merupakan landasan yang sangat penting untuk proses pendidikan di lembaga selanjutnya. Tujuan yang sangat penting dari proses pendidikan di sekolah dasar adalah pengembangan otot, emosi, sosialisasi, pengenalan lingkungan,dan aspek kebahasaan. Kemudian, mulai kelas empat di sekolah dasar ,para siswa mendalami ilmu pengtahuan secara intensif. Sekolah dsar di Jepang menekankan pada pendidikan mental sehingga anak bisa lebih ulet, tabah, toleran, dan optimis dalam hidup bermasyarakat. Pendidikan moral, olah raga, ketrampilan, dan pendidikan kesejahteraan keluarga sangat penting dalampengembangan kepribadian siswa. Pelajaran matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan banyak diajarkan dengan pendekatan kontekstual di sekolah dasar di Indonesia dan Jepang. Kedua Negara juga mulai memberikan pelajaran Bahasa Inggris kepada siswa sekolah dasar untuk mengenalkan secara dini bahasa dab kebudayan bangsa lain serta mempersiapkan mereka dalam persaingan global. Melakukan studi banding terhadap kondisi pendidikan Negara lain membuat kita memperoleh informasi yang benar terhadap pencapaian kita dan Negara lain di bidang pendidikan serta membuat langkah-langkah perbaikan berdasarkan data yang terpercaya bukan kabar burung yang tidak jelas. Abstract

The leadership of madrasa plays an important role in improving strong madrasa culture since such culture is influenced by how far the leadership of madrasa guides this school activities, both tangible and intangible guiding to establish strong madrasa culture. The strong madrasa culture can be established by four dimensions, namely commitment, capability, cohesion, and consistency. The role of such leadership in improving strong madrasa culture is a series of precess from the entirely madrasa organizational systems.The leadership role of madrasa in developing madrasa culture are to articulate the madrasa vision an mission, the values an belief within madrasa organizational, to create the madrasa symbol which is able to strengthen the unique of madrasa school organizational, to establish such reward system based on the norm and value of madrasa, to build the social and emotional relationship among teacher, student, and society based on the commitment and its mission and to design the structural of madrasaKeywords: leadership, developing, madrasa culture

Abstract

Existence of madrasah in Indonesia since decade 1990-an really show existence which continue strength, either through quantitative and also qualitative is. Relevant of growth, there [is] two fundamental matter needing careful with is. First, amount of private sector madrasah much more big than country madrasah; Both, madrasah born, grow, and expand from and for society. Level of society participation in education of this madrasah express that madrasah is true base on strength at society (education based community). All the growth push Departmental functionary of Religion, functionary of Local government, all Islamic educationist and also moslem society progressively believe that excellence of education of madrasah can be improved. They also believe that pre-eminent education which on the market by madrasah will be able to be accepted by moslem parent from various social status and circle. To reach excellence of madrasah hence enableness effort and renewal of system education of madrasah require to be [done/conducted] continuous so that can face various challenge according to growth of epoch in globalization era and area autonomy. Abstract

The basic  Quran  teaching-learning process has two important phases; The capability to read and the capability to understand the tenses. There are five points to learn Quran ; 1. Introducing the alphabeth( hijaiyah Makhraj), 2. The  tenses- mark, 3.The alphabeth combination, 4. The rule of tajwed and its sub topic, 5.Irreguler reading-rule. In order to achieve the Quran skill some ways could be applied such as reading-drill, vocabulary skill and using pictures as a media to support the learning process. Abstract

Geometry has a special place in the math curricula at schools. This is because the contents of geometry considered usefel in the daily life. Based on the fact, many students faced difficulties to understand the geometry theory. For this purpose, this article offered van Hielle teory as one of alternative to solve the students’ problem.

Abstract

Learning process at school is a complex process and comprehensive. Many people said that someone has to have high Intelligence Quotient (IQ) in order to gain high achievement since intelligence is potential asset which is making easier to study and produce optimum high learning achievement.As a matter of fact, in studying and learning process at school, some of the students cannot attain learning achievement equivalent with the Intelligence Quotient.  There are some students with high Intelligence Quotient but the learning achievements are low. In the other hand, there are some students with low Intelligence Quotient can attain high learning achievement. Therefore, Intelligence Quotient is not the only factor which is deciding someone’s success. Another factor which influences someone’s success is Emotional Intelligence (EI). Emotional Intellegence is someone’s ability to manage his/her emotional life with intelligence, keep the appropriateness of emotion and its expression through self-consciousness’ skill, self-control, self-motivation, emphatic, and social skill. Abstract

One of the efforts to increase the instructional effectiveness natural science is by developing meaningful learning strategy through the using concept mapping. The objectives of instructional natural science at elementary school is not only learning concept natural science but also to increase thinking and creativity such as recalling, imagining, classifying, generalizing, comparing, evaluating, analyzing, synthesizing, deducing, inferring, skill processused by the experts in order to get and developing nature science. Concept mapping strategy is one of alternative strategy that can give the results to reach learning objectives. With concept mapping, students could interlocked the natural science before and the new natural science by included concepts to the cognition and defined the relationship on an exibhit then united to the wider structure. The good conceptual understanding will help the students in their learning, until the students will be easier to understand the material they learn. Strategy using concept mapping to increase effectiveness science instructional viewed from achievement and students learning retention, suggested to science’s teacher to use concept mapping as one of learning tools. Using concept mapping after instructional is more suggested, although the other strategy more suitable.Keywords: concept mapping, natural science, thinking and creativity

Abstract

Value is a conviction or believes that become the basic for a person or a group of person to choose their action, or appraise something meaningful or something unmeaning for their live.  This interpretation means that value is a characteristic attributed to something related to subject (human as the provider of value). Social values in social science education in elementary school (SD/MI) can be applied trough role playing. Role playing is learning processes in which the students do something have done by other people. That other people maybe is a president, ministry, prominent figure of society, law official, teachers, the owner of other professions, officials, or even the ordinary people. The important thing from this learning process is that students try to think, feel the emotion, and act not as their own self but as others. By occupy and inspire the role, students are going to understand why such kind of action should be done, what kind of value underlying that consideration, and how the object people face that kind of situation. Abstract

In the Islamic school process, environment-role is affecting to the education accomplishment, either in Islamic school or not. Education field out of Islamic school such as; home-schooling and society-schooling. If these could work each other propitiously, so the result would be filled the bill by government, people, and religion. Otherwise, if Islamic education is only focused on classroom-teaching and paying no regard to society education. Thus, very hard to attain intended outcome. Furthermore, if Islamic education does not care about family setting so will occur teaching learning process-failure especially Islamic religion subject. Therefore, in the carrying out of education in Islamic school, the importance of environment setting in education needs serious consideration to figure ideal human by government, people, and religion.
