Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the effect of service quality and promotiondirectly to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. This study also examines theinfluence of service quality and promotion indirectly to customer loyalty throughcustomer satisfaction. The study was conducted on 175 customers of Cikarang MedikaFarma Pharmacy taken with simple random sampling technique and given questionnaire72 statement with Likert Scale to measure response to research variables. After testingthe validity and reliability, as well as the prerequisite test, conducted path analysis testusing software Lisrel 8.80. The results showed that there was a significant direct effectbetween service quality and promotion on customer satisfaction as well as on customerloyalty. Service quality also has a positive and significant indirect impact on customerloyalty through customer satisfaction. Promotion has a positive and significant indirecteffect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the influence of transformational leadership, transactional leadership and job satisfaction to organizational commitment. The location for this research is PT. Bahana Prestasi that located in Cileungsi, Cibitung and Jakarta.This research was done to 124 respondents by using quantitive-descriptive approach. Thus, data analysis which is used is statiscic analysis in the form of doublelinear regression test. The result of this research shows that eiter simultaneously orpartially, the variabel of transformational leadership, transactional leadership and job satisfaction influence organizational commitment of the employee of PT. Bahana Prestasi. It has been proven from the result of (f) simultan test which shows confer (40,640) with significant point (0.000) which is much smaller than alpha 0.05. Alongwith the result of (t) partial shows significant point of three independent variables succesion as big as 0.01, 0.06 and 0.001 which is smaller than alpha 0.05. Therefore, the accepted asumption is H0 rejected.Keywords: transformational leadership, transactional leadership, job satisfaction, organizational commitment

Abstract

Abstract: The government has established ABC BUMN Holding, with the hope that the performance of its subsidiaries' performance after holding has increased sharply. Unfortunately the financial performance of its subsidiaries is no better than before the holding. This study is intended to analyze the performance of ABC BUMN subsidiaries before and after holding and look for factors that affect their performance, with non-parametric statistical methods and discussions with experts. The results showed that the poor performance of subsidiaries was partly due to the focus of the holding Directors still on restructuring the debt of subsidiaries which were carried out before the establishment of holding, the low productivity of plantations as a result of late replenting, fertilization and maintenance that are not in accordance with the standard, the cost of revitalizing sugar mills has not been able to be prepared by the holding, the synergy between the parent company and its subsidiaries has not gone well, and there has been a tendency to decline in plantation commodity prices. Keywords: Holding, financial performance, low productivity of plantation,  statistic non parametric. Abstrak :Pemerintah telah membentuk ABC BUMN Holding, dengan harapan kinerja anak perusahaan setelah dilakukan holding meningkat secara tajam. Sayangnya kinerja keuangan anak perusahaannya tidak lebih baik dari sebelum holding. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis kinerja anak perusahaan ABC BUMN sebelum dan setelah holding dan mencari faktor yang memengaruhi kinerjanya, dengan metode statistic non parametric dan diskusi dengan pakar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belum baiknya kinerja anak perusahaan antara lain disebabkan fokus Direksi holding masih pada restrukturisasi hutang anak perusahaan yang terbawa dari sebelum pembentukan holding, rendahnya produktivitas perkebunan sebagai dampak terlambat replenting, pemupukan dan pemeliharaan yang tidak sesuai standar, besarnya biaya revitalisasi pabrik gula yang belum mampu disiapkan oleh holding, sinergi antara perusahaan induk dan anak perusahaan belum berjalan dengan baik, dan adanya kecenderungan turunnya harga komoditas perkebunan. Kata kunci: Holding, Kinerja keuangan, rendahnya produktivitas perkebunan, statistic non parametric.

Abstract

Abstract. The changes of railway management began in 2009 have brought manyimpact on train service both long distance train or commuter. These changes have animpact on the experience felt by passengers when using the train. And the image of thetrain has also changes executives, business or economics train. The changes made willhave an influence on consumer satisfaction. Therefore, it is interesting to do researchwith the theme of experiential marketing and brand image to satisfaction of trainpassenger on the railway business, especially in Java. Number of samples in this studyconsist of 400 respondents, with a simple random sampling. The results of reliabilityand validity testing on instrument it is reliable and valid. There are three hypothesestested, using structural equation modeling. The results of hypothesis test shows that thebrand image of the train has no effect on passenger satisfaction, while experientialmarketing test has an effect on passenger satisfaction of railway business.

Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to analyze how strong is the effect ofcompetency, work placement and motivation on performance of the employees of theSecretariat General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Phenomenon indicated thatperformance achievement of the Ministry showed by the result of LAKIP appraisal onlymeet the CC criteria. This could be linked to the low performance of the Ministry staff,affected by competency, work placement and motivation factors. The design of theresearch is causal design which aimed to measure how strong are the effect ofcompetency, work placement and motivation on performance. The measurement of thevariables is using Likert scale and data were collected through questionnaire to 186respondents. The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS. The results of multipleregression analysis and t-test proved that the competency had no effect, while workplacement and motivation significantly effected on performance. In conclusion, theresearch showed that the process of work placement by considering academicachievement and motivation from a good relationship with superiors could effect to theachievement of the employees performance.Keywords: competency, work placement, motivation, performance

Abstract

Abstract. Micro enterprises (MEs) have been proven to be significant contributors to the national economy, particularly for marginal communities. However, only a few programs are aimed to encourage ME improvement, especially in rural areas. The community-based entrepreneurship (CBE) program led by higher education institutions has been recognized as an effective instrument to accelerate capacity building for marginal communities. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of this program in boosting entrepreneurial commitment of rural MEs to help them develop their business. Applying the theory of planned behavior (TPB) framework, this research applies a direct survey to respondents from rural MEs. Then to analyze both data and output, this study applies PLS-SEM tool with SmartPLS software. Results reveal that social factors (social pressure and environmental influence) do not incline rural ME entrepreneurs to develop their business. Attitude factors (entrepreneurial benefit and willingness to take a risk) become the most dominant variables, and consistently have an impact on rural ME entrepreneurs in developing their business. To implement the business development of rural ME, perceived behavioral control becomes a main determinant. Demographic profiles (age, gender, and eduction) is also heavily as influential factors.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was analyzed the performance improvement strategyof laboratory assistant (PLP) in Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) by applied functionalforce. The research was conducted by using a structure approach model of AnalyticalHierarchy Process (AHP) with software Expert Choice 2000 as instrument to know structureand strategy alternative priority. The data were primary data and secondary data. The primarydata were the result of interviewed with five experts who have capabilities in performancemanagement, laboratory, and understand the roles and PLP duties. The research showed thatthe most important was strategy alternative, and became a main priority in order to improvethe performance of PLP in IPB improved the welfare with the rank (0.329). The result wasalso showed that most actors involved and influential in improving the performance of PLP,is the head of the laboratory with the rank (0.440), while the goal is a main priority inimproving performance is increasing the professionalism of PLP (0.431). In conclusion,performance of PLP in IPB can be improved by pay attention their welfare. Besides that, thehead of laboratory should be able to encourage and motivate in improving their performance,so PLP is capable to work professionally and give the best service to consumers.Keywords: AHP, Performance, PLP, StrategyAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis strategi peningkatan kinerja pranatalaboratorium pendidikan (PLP) di Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), dengan diterapkannyajabatan fungsional PLP. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pendekan strukturAHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) dengan Software Expert Choice 2000 sebagai alat untukmelihat struktur dan prioritas utama alternatif strategi. Data yang digunakan adalah dataprimer yang merupakan hasil wawancara terhadap 5 orang pakar yang memiliki kapabilitasdalam manajemen kinerja, laboratorium, dan pemahaman terhadap peran dan tugas PLP.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan alternatif strategi yang paling penting dan menjadi prioritasutama dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja PLP di IPB adalah meningkatkan kesejahteraandengan bobot (0,329). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa aktor yang paling terlibatdan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja PLP adalah kepala laboratorium dengan bobotsebesar (0,440), sedangkan tujuan yang menjadi prioritas utama dalam meningkatkan kinerjaPLP adalah meningkatkan profesionalisme PLP (0,431). Kinerja PLP di IPB dapatditingkatkan dengan memperhatikan kesejahteraannya sejalan dengan diterapkannya jabatanfungsional PLP. Selain itu kepala laboratorium, sebaiknya dapat mendorong dan memotivasipara PLP dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya, sehingga PLP mampu bekerja secara mandiri danprofesional serta memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dan berorientasi kepada kepuasankonsumen.Kata kunci: AHP, Kinerja, PLP, Strategi

Abstract

Abstract. A pharmaceutical company at Jakarta developed a generic meropenem sterile dosage form by toll manufacturing business cooperation with another pharmaceutical company. During the process of partner selection, there was a time delay. The target plan was 4 months but in reality it took 12 months. This research evaluates factors which cause the time delay. One of the causes was the unavailability of pre-selection model. This research test a qualitative pre-selection model using variables of management, availability oftransport choices, value added services, rate profile and quality services, service characteristics and performance measurements. The six variables described into 36 dimensions and indicators. The model tested to 10 pharmaceutical companies with sterile production facility needed for production of meropenem sterile dosage form. Research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with searching data method through observational study. The data source is secondary data. Based on the research result, timedelay was caused by several factors related to product, procedure, quality and fee. The tested pre-selection model can be used as an alternative solution to avoid future time delay in toll manufacturing partner selection.Keywords : pre-selection, toll manufacturing, pharmaceutical

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keterkaitan variabel Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Image dan Customer Loyalty. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya pada 170 responden dengan kriteria konsumen yang memahami CSR serta pernah menggunakan jasa dari sebuah hotel yang sudah menerapkan CSR. SEM digunakan untuk menguji model penelitian dan menguji semua hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model fit dan CSR berpengaruh baik secara langsung maupun melalui Corporate Image terhadap Customer Loyalty. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan Corporate Image dan Customer Loyalty, manajer dapat mengelola praktik CSR dengan baik.

Abstract

Abstract. The concentrated ownership structure that occurred in Indonesia led to theagency conflicts between the controlling shareholder and the non-controllingshareholder will lead expropriation. This study aims to examine the effect ofgovernance on expropriation practices. In addition, the study also aims to examine themoderation role of dividend policy in strengthening the governance effect onexpropriation practices. The results show that governance negatively affects thepractice of expropriation and dividend policy can not strengthen the negative effect ofgovernance on the practice of expropriation. This study contributes to the theory ofagency type II which discusses conflicts between controlling and non-controllingshareholders, which can be overcome by the use of corporate governance mechanisms Keywords: governance, expropriation, dividend policy, related party transaction
