Proportional-Integral (PI) controller will be designed on electric car simulator for speed and torque control systems. The main components of this simulator are two direct current motors (DCMs) with a linked axis of rotation. Speed and torque control systems are designed for DCM 1 and DCM 2 which are represents the electric car and its load. PI controller is designed in three schemes: linear PI, PI with saturation and PI with anti-windup (PI-AW). The simulation result shows that the PI-AW scheme produces the best responses for speed and torque with control signals generated doesn’t exceed the saturation limit.

Low-voltage distribution cable has important role in electric power distribution system. This study aimed to find out power distribution network, drop voltage, losses, and Rupiah loss on low-voltage distribution cable in Indonesia University of Education (UPI), Bandung. UPI has their own electrical substation, so low voltage electricity managed by themselves. This research is conducted because of researcher’s interest in analyzing reliability of power distribution in UPI. Data was derived from measurement and calculation of load current from every substation which flows to switchgear in every building. Based on the result, the calculation is continued to find out the magnitude of voltage drop, losses (watt), and Rupiah loss. The magnitude of drop voltage and power losses in UPI’s low voltage distribution cable network are very good based on the value which is lower than assigned minimun limit by PT. PLN; +5% and -10%. In Rupiah, UPI losses Rp.398.573,- in January 2014.

Face recognition can be done by using Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). ANN is made to resemble the human neural system. By varying some parameters on backpropagation, backpropagation characteristics is known to minimize errors and epoch and enlarge Recognition Rate. The experimental results show the relationship between the parameters of eigenvalues, alpha, and coefficient of momentum, against the recognition rate obtained.

Load control and data acquisition in this research designed to be accessible with web page interface. The working of data acquisition is reading analog data from voltage and current by using Adaptor and current sensor ACS712 which is then processed by Arduino and will show in web page with SBC Raspberry Pi, the web page will showing real time chart from voltage, current and apparent power, and the workings of the control system is direct control SBC Raspberry Pi pin with interface web which then will turn on relay which has connected with the electricity load. The system which researched using WiFi USB or LAN cable for connected to intranet network that cause address of web page can be access by other devices connected to the intranet network.

Soccer robot is an international project that aims to support research in the field of artificial intelligence systems, robotics, independent agent, and other disciplines that have linkages with the things mentioned above. This research aims to design generally wake a system mirosot the host side development into a client server system. Specifically aims to develop the concept of motion modes coating robot soccer agent. The next layer motion mode robot soccer agent is used to develop the ability of the agent and the team. Coating agent robot motion mode is one part in the design of the robot soccer team. Coating agent robot motion mode has been designed and implemented in the form of layers - layer agent robot motion mode. Each layer motion mode robot agent can be used in accordance with the environment and the desired targets. Design coating agent motion mode is done by dividing the motion mode agent into several layers of motion with the aim to facilitate the testing, implementation and development. This research has resulted in the design of a total of 20 modes of motion are divided into 3 layers motion robot agent.

The development of computing technology that has lead to soft computing technologies prompted researchers to try for finding an alternative method to predict the power load-based artificial intelligence (which is a popular and widely used: Adaptive Neural Network / Neural Network). Short term load forecasting has a very important role for the efficiency of electrical energy. For it will be done prediction electrical load short term for the 3 types of days, weekdays, weekends and national holidays by the method of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm using feedforward backpropagation, and the data used is real data throughout 2013 and 2014. The software for designing programs to use is Matlab from Mathwork Corps. Based on test results obtained average value error for all three types of day best is 2.89% and the forecasting from PLN gained 8.84% on the type of national holidays, so we get electrical energy efficiency on a national holiday the average 6% in each hour.

In the last 10 years the development of energy conversion technology has been developing very fast. This is due to the continuous penetration in power electronics to power plants. Estimated more than 85% from every single type of motor which used in industries and domestic applications, induction motor is the most selected choice. The majority of drive in industries are using AC induction motor because of its robust, reliable, and relatively cheap. Induction motor mainly used in constant speed application because voltage supply for frequency variable was not available. The designed inverter circuit in this research was used as a three phase induction motor driver which needs voltage supply of 380 Volts. Besides, the designed inverter was expected to handle a continuous load of 1000 VA. In the design process and the research which conducted consists of simulation stage and building the prototype of inverter circuit as a three phase induction motor driver. At the design and the research that conducted in this paper are consisted of three components, which are sinusoidal PWM circuit, inverter circuit, and low pass passive filter circuit. To reduce the harmonics in the waveform of inverter’s output, then used sinusoidal PWM switching scheme. Therefore the purpose of this research is to know how to design an inverter, the specification of inverter design, and the switching scheme that is used in the inverter. The reason for conducting this research is to pursue the needs of inverter utilities in the industries. The research method that is used in this research is a qualitative method which the inverter design data is compared with the tested prototype.

Measurement IRM aims to get the saturation state of the sample being tested. This measurement is done by placing a sample of the finished didemagnetisasi in center of magnetic poles, then given electromagnetic field generated by electric currents Weiss with an acceptable rate of 16 A with voltage of 120 V DC Power Supply and electrical resistance 6,6 Ohm. To obtain a strong magnetic field, of course, required large electrical currents and to keep the heat effect resulting from large currents Weiss electromagnet was then cooled with water that flowed through the cooling pipe with pompa.Kuat electromagnetic field generated by Weiss, in addition to relying the flow is also dependent on the distance of the magnetic poles. The measurement results obtained should show a linear relationship between the magnetic field with an electric current through the relationship M = ai + b where M states in the magnitude of the magnetic field coil elektomagnet Weiss, i declare a strong magnitude of the current in Amperes, while a and b is the number of measurement results obtained ie a = b = 80.26 and 12.03. IRM measurements performed by means of Minispin Magnetometers with the same procedure as in the measurement of NRM, note the magnitude of the intensity of magnetization is shown as a result of the magnetic field induced by electromagnetic Weiss, then raise the terrain is given by way of adjusting the position switch to position 2 and note the large strong currents caused. After administering field is done, then measure again IRMnya with the same procedure as before to obtain saturation of the sample being tested. Usually the number of steps required for saturation between 11-15 step or maybe less. IRMnya sample to be measured is taken one from each site by considering that the sample is slow decay of its intensity, the characterization of a95 which is quite significant and doesdeclination, inclination and not vary much with the other characterization.

this paper describes the results of microcontroller training kit without personal computers (PC) in the programming process. This device is more effective and efficient to apply and have the same performance if the user to program the microcontroller using a PC. Distance measuring sensors added to this device, as an increased feature. This device is used as a training or learning media microcontroller, equipped with component I/O: keypad, push button, LED, seven segment displays, LCDs, stepper motors and sensors. Experiments carried out by conducting trial's addition of a proximity sensor on the input. This training kit can function according to design specifications, and performed well as a range discoverer.

In this paper, Ultra Wide Band (UWB) mictrostrip antenna was designed for through-wall-imaging radar. The simulation was carried out using CST Studio. The FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4,3 and thickbess of 1,6 mm is used in this project. The simulation result confirm that antenna have 4,8 GHz of bandwidth from 4,2 to 9 GHz with -10dB return loss. The measured result confirm that antenna have 5 GHz bandwidth from 3,8 to 8,8 GHz with a same return loss.
