Abstract

Kecemasan adalah suatu keadaan patologis yang ditandai oleh perasaan ketakutan disertai tanda somatik pertanda sistem saraf autonom yang hiperaktif. Sedangkan depresi adalah gangguan perasaan atau mood yang disertai komponen psikologi berupa sedih, susah, tidak ada harapan dan putus asa, dan komponen biologi atau somatik misalnya anoreksia, konstipasi, dan keringat dingin. Kecemasan dan depresi dapat terjadi pada mahasiswa FIKES dan Non-FIKES. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan kecemasan dan depresi mahasiswa FIKES dan Non-FIKES di Universitas ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. Mahasiswa FIKES adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan, dimana jadwal praktikum dan kuliah sangat padat. Sedangkan Non-FIKES  adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Eknomi Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora (FEISHum). Tugas dan tanggungjawab yang berat dapat menjadi stressor terjadinya kecemasan dan depresi. NSQ untuk menilai kecemasan, dan BDI untuk menilai depresi. Analisa data menggunakan uji T dengan tingkat kemaknaan α= 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Mahasiswa baru di FIKES lebih cemas dan lebih depresif daripada mahasiswa Non-FIKES/FEISHum (NSQ t= -3,328, p= 0,002 dan BDI t= 2,410, p= 0,019). Peneliti menyimpulkan terdapat perbedaan kecemasan dan depresi yang antara mahasiswa baru di FIKES dan Non-FIKES, dimana mahasiswa baru FIKES lebih cemas dan depresif daripada mahasiswa baru di Non-FIKES/FEISHum.

Abstract

Psychological stress is the body's reaction to psychosocial stressors/mental stress. Stress explains various unfavorable stimulus intensity i.e. disproportionate responses to physiological, behavioral, and subjective to stress. Psychological stress among pregnant women affects the situation of pregnant women and the fetus. This study aims to analyze biopsychological review in the case of dyslexic child born from mother with severe psychological stress.This study is a qualitative study through survey techniques, observation, and interviews on the subjectof research. The research subject is a 13-year-old dyslexic child. While in the uterus, his mother experienced severe psychological stress due to become a kidnap victim. The results showed the dyslexia on the research subject due to the failure of his mother in managing severe stress experienced while having pregnancy. This condition impacted to low fetus nutrition during the womb phase and inadequate mother’s time to rest so that activated the mechanism of CRH, epinephrine, and norepinephrine that cause prenatal birth and low birth weight. Families’ supports, especially parent caused the self confidence and ability of social interaction on the subject

Abstract

Abstract. Female workers are one of the important assets in the workplace, but are not always able to work optimally because they prefer cyberloafing activities. This behavior is considered unproductive and has a significant impact on individuals and organizations. Cyberloafing behavior is allegedly due to low self-control. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior. The method of collecting data uses the scale of self-control and scale of cyberloafing. The results showed that there was a very significant negative relationship between self-control and Cyberloafing behavior. Self-control variables contribute 77.2 percent of Cyberloafing behavior which shows that self-control is an important factor that must be minimized to reduce Cyberloafing behavior in the workplace.Keywords: cyberloafing, self-control, women Abstrak. Pekerja perempuan merupakan salah satu aset penting dalam dunia kerja, namun tidak selalu mampu bekerja maksimal karena lebih menyukai aktivitas cyberloafing. Perilaku ini dianggap tidak produktif dan memberikan dampak signifikan bagi individu maupun organisasi sehingga perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Perilaku cyberloafing salah satunya ditengarai karena adanya kendali diri yang rendah. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan negatif antara kendali diri dengan perilaku cyberloafing. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Kendali diri dan skala Cyberloafing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara kendali diri dengan perilaku Cyberloafing. Variabel kendali diri berkontribusi sebesar 77,2 persen terhadap perilaku Cyberloafing yang menunjukkan bahwa kendali diri merupakan faktor penting yang harus diminimalisir untuk menurunkan perilaku Cyberloafing di tempat kerja.Kata kunci: cyberloafing, kendali diri, perempuan

Abstract

Mengkaji tentang relasi antara agama dan ilmu sangat menarik, terutama dikaitkan dengan perkembangan mandat keilmuan di PTAI-PTAI Indonesia, satu diantaranya UIN Sunan Kalijaga, dalam memperluas bidang kajiannya, salah satunya adalah berdirinya Program Studi Psikologi di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora. Secara umum ada tiga model mazhab pertautan antara agama (Islam) dan ilmu (psikologi), yaitu Islamic Psychology (Psikologi Islam), Islamized Psychology (Psikologi Islami), dan Psychology of “Religion” Islam (Psikologi ’Agama’ Islam). Artikel yang dikaji dengan pendekatan dialektik-komparatif-historis-kritis ini mencoba menawarkan mazhab keempat dalam psikologi integratif tersebut, yaitu apa yang penulis sebut sebagai Integrasi-Interkoneksi Psikologi, yang kemudian diimplementasikan dalam penyusunan Buku Ajar Psikologi di UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, sebagai PTAI tertua di Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Integrasi, Interkoneksi, Psikologi, Buku Ajar Studying the relation between religion and science is interesting, especially connected with development of sciences decision on PTAI in Indonesia. One of those is UIN Sunan Kalijaga. To enlarge the field of study, it is showed by establish studying programme of Psychology at Social and Humanities Faculty. There are 3 models perspective (mazhab) that combine between Islamic religion as the religion aspect and psychology as the science aspect, and the psychology of islamic religion. This article using critics-historical-comparative-dialectics approach that try to offer the fourth of perspective (mazhab) in the integrative psychology field, the writer calls next as Psychology Integration-Interconection. So, it will be implemented by forming the psychology text book at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta as an eldest PTAI in Indonesia. Keywords: Integration, Interconnection, Psychology, Text book

Abstract

This study aims to examine corelation between emotional quotient and online impulse buying on member of Kaskus forum in Yogyakata region. The subjects of this research were Kaskus member who have any transaction or did online shopping via Kaskus and lives in Yogyakarta. The data were collected using emotional quotient scales from Goleman theory (1999) and Impulse buying online scale from Mesiranta theory (2009). The result of analyze showed that emotional quotient was a very correlated to impulse buying online with level r valkeceue -0.433with p = 0.005 (p < 0.05) Based on this fnding, the hypothesis was accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan antara harga diri dan iklim sekolah dengan perilaku mencontek pada siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sleman, kelas VIII. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitiian ini adalah teknik purposif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan skala sebagai alat ukur. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala perilaku mencontek, skala harga diri, dan skala iklim sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara harga diri dan iklim sekolah secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku mencontek pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sleman. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini tidak diterima. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa prediktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku mencontek hanya harga diri, sedangkan iklim sekolah termasuk dalam prediktor yang tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku mencontek. Sumbangan efektif harga diri terhadap perilaku mencontek sebesar 6,5% dimana itu berarti bahwa ada 93,5% faktor lain yang mempengaruhi perilaku mencontek yang dapat diteliti lebih jauh. Hasil analisis korelasi parsial antara harga diri dengan perilaku mencontek menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang signifikan (r parsial = -0,254, dengan p=0,004). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara harga diri dengan perilaku mencontek. Harga diri adalah faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku mencontek. Kata kunci: harga diri, iklim sekolah, perilaku mencontek ABSTRACT This study was aimed to determine the relationship between self-esteem and school climate with cheating behavior in students. Subjects on this study were 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sleman both male and female. Sampling method which used in this study was purposive sampling technique and use quantitative research method with scale as the measurement of variables. The scales that used are Cheating Behavior Scale, Self-esteem scale and School Climate Scale. The results of this study showed that there are no negative results that significantly affect self esteem and school climate to cheating behavior on students at SMP Negeri 2 Sleman which means the hypothesis of this research was not acceptable. The results of this study also showed that the predictors that influence cheating behavior is self-esteem only, while the school climate was included to the predictor that has no effect on cheating behavior. Effective contribution of self-esteem to cheating behavior is 6.5% and 93.5% means there are other factors that affect the appearance of cheating behavior that can be dug deeper. The result of partial correlations between self-esteem by cheating behavior also showed a significant negative correlation (r partial = - 0.253, p = 0.004). It suggests that there is a significant negative relationship between self-esteem with cheating behavior. Self-esteem was an influential factor in cheating behavior. Abstract

A divorce experienced by a person often has a negative impact on the couple experiencing it, as well as the family involved. But not a few divorce that actually brings happiness to those who experience it. Surely this happens through a certain process. This study seeks to reveal the happiness felt by someone who has experienced divorce. This study is a case study conducted on four subjects who filed a divorce suit. The results of interviews and observations on the four subjects showed that the four subjects were happy after divorcing from their former partner. This study shows that in certain marriage cases divorce is the last solution that can be taken because of certain issues such as differences in partner's vision and mission, infidelity, inappropriate marital roles and household economic problems. This suggests that if a marriage forced to persist actually creates problems for couples and families within it, then divorce can be the best way by prior consideration and special preparation.

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of internal factors (self-regulated learning andmathematics anxiety) and external factors (mathematics teacher social support and peersocial support) on mathematics learning achievement. This study uses a quantitative approachinvolving 169 students in junior high school students using purposive sampling technique. Theresults of the study concluded that there was an effect of self-regulated learning, mathematicsanxiety, mathematics teacher social support, and peer social support simultaneously onmathematics learning achievement by 13.2%. The results of the t test showed that the variablesof self-regulated learning and peer social support partially did not significantly influencemathematics learning achievement, in contrast to mathematics anxiety and mathematicsteacher social support which partially had a significant effect on mathematics learningachievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adamya pengaruh faktor internal (selfregulatedlearning dan kecemasan terhadap matematika) serta faktor eksternal (dukungansosial guru matematika dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya) pada prestasi belajar matematika.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 169 siswa pada siswasekolah menengah pertama dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitianmenyimpulkan ada pengaruh self-regulated learning, kecemasan matematika, dukungan sosialguru matematika, dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajarmatematika sebesar 13.2%. Hasil uji t menunjukkan variabel self-regulated learning dandukungan sosial teman sebaya secara parsial tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadapprestasi belajar matematika, berbeda dengan kecemasan matematika dan dukungan sosial gurumatematika yang secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the meaningful life of individuals who have experienced violence in their childhood. Questions to be answered in this study is how the process and the dynamics of fulfilling the meaning of life in individuals victims of violence in children. This research involved two subjects who experienced violence in different forms. Data collection is done through in-depth interviews on the subject and some significant others who can provide additional data. The research data were analyzed using content analysis method in qualitative approach. The result of analysis shows that the process of fulfilling the meaning of life on the victims of child violence through three pillars, namely freedom of action, the will to live meaningfully, and the meaning of life in which contained the meaning of life purpose. While the source of the meaning of life is derived from the value in attitude, where both subjects choose the attitude of taking the lessons of the tragic events they experienced in the form of violence in childhood. The researcher hopes for further researchers to expand the scope of the research to the extent of the process of forgiveness and how the process of life goals of each subject guides their current lives.

Abstract

Motivasi kerja yang tinggi seharusnya dimiliki oleh anggota kepolisian. Setiap anggota kepolisian dari jenjang pangkat Bintara hingga Perwira dituntut untuk memiliki tanggung jawab yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keterkaitan di lapangan hubungan model komunikasi dua arah antara atasan dan bawahan dengan motivasi kerja di Polresta Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah 70 orang anggota Bintara di Polresta Yogyakarta yang dipilih dengan cara random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi kerja dan skala model komunikasi dua arah antara atasan dan bawahan, yang kemudian hasilnya diuji dengan Product-Moment. Setelah dilakukan analisis, didapatkan nilai r sebesar 0,578 (p < 0,01). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini terbukti, yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif antara model komunikasi dua arah antara atasan dan bawahan dengan motivasi kerja, artinya semakin sering model komunikasi dua arah antara atasan dan bawahan dilaksanakan maka akan semakin tinggi motivasi kerja Bintara di Polresta Yogyakarta. Sumbangan yang diberikan variabel model komunikasi dua arah antara atasan dan bawahan terhadap motivasi kerja adalah 32,7% (R = 0,327), 67,3% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang juga mempengaruhi motivasi kerja. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Kerja, Model Komunikasi Dua Arah Antara Atasan dan Bawahan, Polisi Bintara ABSTRACT Police members should have high work motivation. Every level of police member from Bintara until Perwira should have high responsibility. This research has a purpose to examine the relation between two-ways communication model between ordinate and subordinates with their work motivation in Polresta Yogyakarta. Subjects of this research were 70 Bintara at Polresta Yogyakarta which choosed by random sampling method. The data was collected by Work Motivation Scale and Two-Ways Communication Model of Ordinate and Sib-ordinates Scale then it has been analyzed by Product Moment. The results shown that t score = 0.578 (p < 0.01), so it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between two-ways communication model of ordinate and sub-ordinates with work motivation of Bintara at PolrestaYogyakarta. The two-ways communication model between ordinate and subordinates has effective support until 32.7% (R = 0.327) and 67.3% were affected by other factors.
