Abstract

The teaching plan is a guideline for the learning process which is then known as the Semester Learning Plan (RPS). Objectives should be clearly formulated to be achieved by the material or material to be taught, teaching and learning activities and tools used, evaluation and reference sources in the form of reading books. In the Faculty of Computer Science in filling out the Semester Learning Plan still using a manual system using Microsoft Word. Each Lecturer must fill in the Semester Learning Plan by typing Semester Learning Plan data according to the course taken on the form already made in Microsoft Word. Therefore, it is necessary to make the application of the Computer Science Learning Plan application. The E-RPS aims to make it easier for lecturers to fill out the Semester Learning Plan. The results of this practical work in the form of a website-based application that can facilitate the lecturer in filling out the Semester Learning Plan and with the lecturer no longer need to explain the contents of the Semester Learning Plan to students, because each student can see or print their own results according to the course what our want

Abstract

Scholarship data collection at the Faculty of Economics still uses a manual method that is all the data collection process is still input using Microsoft Excel. So that the scholarship data collection is not neatly arranged and not archived properly. This results in difficulties in finding data and requires a long time. Data archiving is more likely in the form of a document sheet (Hard File), therefore it is necessary to create a system that can help the Faculty of Economics in data collection of students who receive scholarships. After a series of testing of the scholarship recipient's data collection system can be implemented at the Faculty of Economics. Archiving data on scholarship recipient students is well archived, making it easier for users to search data from year to year according to study programs and scholarship programs that are archived in the data collection system and become more efficient

Abstract

To open a new land, it is necessary to clear land from grass plants that surround the land, so we need to cut grass quickly. If you still use traditional equipment, the work will be long and require a lot of workers to complete it. So the author here makes a machine or robot that can later finish cutting the grass quickly and also does not require many workers even though the land is so vast. This robot is controlled by a voice command so that the robot can move in accordance with the commands we take to the smartphone. As long as the robot moves forward, turn, turn left and turn right then the grass cutter knife will spin to cut the grass. The results of this study are a prototype / miniature of a lawn mower robot that has been tried by cutting grass but on a mini scale because it is still the initial model of the system that will be planned to be real for future research

Abstract

Rokan Hulu is one of district in Riau Province that cultivated Snake Fruit plant. Recently, the cultivation of this plant doesn’t conducted maximally because of the lack of farmer’s knowledge. The varieties of high quality Snake Fruit takes effect toward the productivity of Snake Fruit. Because of that, it needs evaluation in determining high quality Snake Fruit. Artificial Neural Network with Learning Vector Quantization in this research is used to train high quality Snake Fruit plant based on it’s class, namely High Quality I and High Quality II. The testing of this method is conducted by using Matlab in order to obtain classification accuracy level. This research uses 60 training dataset and 40 testing dataset of Snake Fruit plant. These data are obtained by using observation at Snake Fruit Plantation located in Desa Rambah Muda Kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The result of this research shows that the highest accuracy percentage of training and testing data are respectively 91.66% and 92.50%.

Abstract

Many of us have encountered Internet use, especially in internet cafes, offices, schools and campuses using more than one connection in subscribing to the Internet, whether it's different ISPs (Internet Service Providers) or the same ISP. In accessing the Web there are 2 types, namely with Authentication and without Authentication. At this writing the author uses 2 (two) Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line or ADSL connections up to 3 Mbps from an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Cluster architecture that is implemented as a high-performance server is one of the effective and efficient solutions to overcome this problem. This cluster architecture can be built using the concept of network load balancing with high-availability that allows the processing of data to be distributed in a distributed manner to several computers. In Linux virtual servers there are scheduling algorithms that can affect LVS work systems, one of which is the round robin algorithm. By using a round robin algorithm, the workload will be shared equally across all servers. Round robin algorithm testing is done by using parameters comparing the number of users and response times, so that the response time is stable between 31 ms to 76.3 ms with the number of users between 10,000 and 50000 in load balancing implementation using the round robin algorithm

Abstract

Palm oil is one of the main crops and seeds in Indonesia. In oil palm plantations, oil palm crops are the most important things. Oil palm crops in the right time and quantity are what the farmers want. Therefore, harvest prediction is needed to be used as reference of palm oil harvest target. Determination of harvest targets required a method that is able to predict the yield of oil palm. In this research, built a system of fuzzy inference with TSK method (Takagi Sugeno Kang), which aims to predict the yield of oil palm farmers. The fuzzy rules in the form of IF antecedent THEN are consequent, using consequent linear equations of the input variables. The coefficients of each variable of linear equation are consequently derived based on the expected yield of the harvest. The results of prediction testing of Palm Oil harvest production in 3 seasons, namely Dry Season, Rainy Season, Fertilization, input the number by values of variable with to the given range prove that the fuzzy inference of the TSK method can calculate palm oil crop predictions well.
