Abstract

The teaching-learning process that is currently running at the vocational school in Medan is still largely conventional in nature, the teacher conveys subject matter, assignments, quizzes, collection assignments in class and each subject are only done a few meetings a week with limited time. Submission of information / announcements, management and services Academic administration and reporting are still done manually so that it is slow and not effective. The purpose of this study is to create a smart school design with a system web-based online learning to overcome various problems faced by Vocational school in Medan (case study at Vocational Tritech Informatics Medan). Smart school will to be blended learning that combines conventional methods or faces with an online learning system towards smart school. The results of this study are the creation online learning system models so that interaction between teachers and students can be done whenever and wherever to improve the quality of education and administrative management academic as well as accelerating the delivery of information to students and parents about students the development and achievements of each student. And use a fingerprint that is directly integrated with the system to be designed. This can support learning in school and creating a culture / learning environment that is effective and efficient and paperless. Design Smart School software uses the waterfall method which includes five stages, namely: (1) identification of user needs; (2) analysis; (3) design; (4) implementation; and (5) testing. Smart school system design uses object-oriented modeling language, UML (Unified Modeling Language).

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that learners are actively developing their potential. . The relationship between education and teaching is very close. In this era, teachers are required to always do various improvements and adjustments in their professional abilities to face the challenges. Seeing the linkage between education and teachers, the evaluation process is absolutely necessary to improve the quality of the institution. With the evaluation, the policy makers can assess the gap between the standard set with the program carried out in the field to know the weakness of the program and the improvement of the program. In this study, the TOPSIS method will be used as the base model in the system to be created. TOPSIS is a method of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) based on the measurement of distances between alternatives being considered and two alternate bipolar references, ideal positives and negatives. The goal to be achieved in this research is to provide ease and minimize policy-maker errors in the process of evaluating the teacher

Abstract

Scheduling is a method used to determine the resources or duration of work time needed to carry out a series of work activities. The purpose of scheduling is to complete a job regularly, run smoothly and according to plan. The problem that is being experienced on XYZ TV is the making of show schedules that still use Ms. Excel and frequent errors in making a schedule, In addition, also making a schedule that still uses Ms. Excel can result in a schedule of events that can later collide with other event schedules. This makes the agency takes a long time in making the show schedule. In the process of making a scheduling system, we need an algorithm that can find the best combination of genetic algorithms which is a very appropriate algorithm used to solve complex optimization problems that are difficult to do by conventional methods. For this purpose, a scheduling application is made using genetic algorithms to schedule shows on XYZ TV. So, in this case the scheduling application can make it easier for the agency in making the schedule of shows automatically

Abstract

Crossing ships are the main transportation in several tourism areas, including on Lake Toba and become the main choice of people around Lake Toba and Samosir Island. The Manifest Data is a very important document in the process of transportation, especially airplanes and ships, including crossing ships on Lake Toba. The manifest contains data on passengers, crew members and various items transported by the mode of transportation. Manifest documents are also useful for the process of disbursing insurance for transportation accidents. Passenger Manifest data using crossing ships on Lake Toba currently only records the number of passengers and the number of vehicles boarding the ship, but does not record details of the identity of the passenger and vehicle. The application of recording passenger manifest data is needed to manage the manifest data of crossing ship passengers on Lake Toba, with the aim of facilitating monitoring of crossing activities and the process of identifying passenger crossing ships. This research will conduct an analysis and design of the crossing vessel Manifest Passenger Manifest recording system in Lake Toba. The system is made web-based, so it will be easily accessed anywhere, and can only be accessed by the North Sumatra Transportation Office. This application can be used to make it easier for the parties involved in supervising and controlling the list of boat passengers who travel on Lake Toba, so that it can reduce the risk of accidents and misuse of the number of boat loads from the permit

Abstract

Ummi Aufa Judge Center is one of the companies that provide typical souvenirs of West Sumatra. Visitors who come are guests from outside of West Sumatra, the time given guide for shopping is very limited, and the placement of goods in the store is not in accordance with consumer behavior in buying goods simultaneously in one time. This study aims to increase sales at the Center By-By Ummi Aufa Hakim. The data to be processed in this study is taken from invoice sales transaction. Data is processed by the Association Rule  method using FP-Growth Algorithm, for testing results done with applications that have been designed using MySQL PHP programming language. The results of the test obtained the Association Rule s of products purchased simultaneously in one time, ie if you buy 250g Yellow Whisk, then buy Sj. Balado Redah 250gr with 20% support value and Confidence value 100%, if buy Ganepo 250gr, then buy Sj. Red Balado with 20% support value and Confidence 100% value, and if buy Krk. Small Kaliang 250gr, then buy Sj. Balado Redah 250gr with 20% support and Confidence 100%. From the test results can be seen that the application of data mining using FP-Growth Algorithm can be used to analyze consumer shopping patterns, and can be a recommendation in the layout of the product on the preparation rack. So the products are often purchased simultaneously placed adjacent by the store

Abstract

Encryption is a method of changing message data (plaintext) into password data (ciphertext), while decryption is a method of converting ciphertext to plaintext. WhatsApp Messenger is a messaging application for smartphones that is basically similar to BlackBerry Messenger. The WhatsApp Messenger application uses a 3G, 4G or WiFi internet connection for data communication. By using WhatsApp, we can do online chat, share files, exchange photos and so on. The algorithm used is 2 (two) types, namely symmetric algorithms and asymmetries algorithms. Merkle-Hellman Knapsack is a cryptosystem that uses the asymmetries algorithm. The Merkle-Hellman Knapsack implementation used uses xor logic. The key length is used between 8 to 72 bits. This capability makes Merkle-Hellman Knapsack have strong security with a short key length. Whereas the aim to be achieved is to apply the Merkman-Hellman Knapsack cryptosystem using the Visual Studio 2010 Programming Language

Abstract

To fulfill every consumer demand, the company must ensure that production activities run well. However, continuous production activities, sometimes making the facilities used especially production machines, do not always function properly. Damage to the machine can hamper the production process which results in the amount of production not being met which effecting in unmet amount of production so the production process of goods experiencing delays (downtime). There are uncertainties in downtime and stock requirements so in this case fuzzy is applied to predict the amount of actual stock production. Abstract

Sistem pakar merupakan salah satu bagian dari kecerdasan buatan yang akhir-akhir ini mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat. Sistem ini dirancang untuk menirukan keahlian seorang pakar dalam menjawab pertanyaan dan menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan.Berdasarkan data dari Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2007 ditemukan sekitar 23,4% penduduk indonesia mengalami permasalahan gigi dan mulut dan sekitar 1,6% mengalami kehilangan seluruh gigi asli. Dengan kata lain, angka ini memperlihatkan masih rendahnya tingkat kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara pertolongan pertama pada penyakit gigi dan mulut saat ini sehingga dibutuhkan aplikasiberbasis web yang dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang penyakit gigi dan mulut. Aplikasi web ini dirancang menggunakan pemrograman PHP dan memakai database MySQL sebagai penyimpanan data. Sistem pakar ini menggunakan metode penalaran forward chaining. Sistem pakar ini mampu memberikan solusi pertolongan pertama, solusi pencegahan, artikel yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan gigi dan mulut, dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan masyarakat dapat segera memberikan pertolongan pertama dan solusi pencegahan pada penyakit gigi dan mulut
