Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the correlation beetween parental attention and study habits with socialstudies learning outcomes of 5th grade Gugus Handaka Elementary School Pringsurat District, Temanggung Regency.This study was a quantitative research. The researcher used correlation design research. The technique of taking samplewas by using probability sampling, resulting in 102 participants. Data collection techniques were questionnaires,interviews, and documentation. These data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics analyzed and product momentanalysis. The result of this research showed that (1) there was a positive and significant correlation between parentalattention and social studies learning outcomes, with a total correlation coefficient value of 0.731 and a contribution of53.43%; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between study habits and social studies learning outcomeswith a total correlation coefficient value of 0.820 and a contribution of 67.24%; (3) there was a positive and significantcorrelation between parental attention and study habits toward social studies learning outcomes, its total correlationcoefficient value of 0.841 and a contribution of 70.72%.Keywords: Parental Attention, Study Habits, Social Studies Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of teachers in the development of social interaction of students during distance learningin grade V students of SD Islam Imama Mijen Semarang City. This study uses a qualitative approach of descriptive type.Research subjects include principals, grade V teachers, and grade V students. Data collection using observation methods,interviews, and documentation. Data validity testing uses source triangulation and engineering triangulation, and timetriangulation. The results showed that the role of teachers including teachers as mentors, teachers as mediators andfacilitators, teachers as demonstrators, and teachers as evaluators influenced the development of social interactions duringdistance learning. The conclusion of this study was that the role of teachers influences the development of socialinteraction in distance learning of grade V students of SD Islam Imama Mijen Semarang. Teachers understand well andcorrectly about their role so as to develop student social interactions that include aspects of cooperation, communicative,and solidarity.Keywords: Role of teacher, Social interaction, Distance learning

Abstract

This study was motivated by the use of technology-based learning media that was not optimal, thus resulting in low socialstudies learning outcomes. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash with the NHTmodel on social studies learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of research anddevelopment (RD). The subjects of this study were 20 students in grade IV at SDN Bumiharjo 2 Demak. Observations,Interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation were carried out to collect the data. Data analysis was conducted bya feasibility test and media effectiveness test. The results showed that Adobe Flash-based interactive media is feasible tobe used with the assessment of media experts and material experts obtained percentages of 100% and 96.8%. This mediais effectively used based on the results of the t-test showed tcount (5.690) ttable (2.024), then Ha is accepted, while theaverage increase (n-gain) from the initial test to the final test was 0.60 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this studyis that Adobe Flash-based interactive learning media with the NHT model is feasible and effective to use in social studieslearning for class IV.Keywords: Adobe Flash-based interactive media, learning outcomes. social studies

Abstract

The background of this study was the lack of learning models and media in delivering social studies subject, so that thelearning outcomes were not optimal. This study used an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The subjectsand population in this study were all fifth grade students of Jendral Sudirman Cluster Elementary School, PurwodadiDistrictn, with a total of 208 students. This study to examine the effect of the picture and picture cooperative learningmodel assisted by monopoly media on social studies learning outcomes. The data collection methods used questionnaires,test learning outcomes and documentation. The data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics, experimental analysis,and regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive effect of the picture and picture cooperative learningmodel assisted by monopoly media with an increase in social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students, with avalue of 3.956 greater than 1.762 (3.956 1.762), meaning that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. So, there was adifference in learning outcomes between the pretest and posttest in social studies subject using the Picture and Picturemodel assisted by monopoly media.Keywords: learning outcomes; picture and picture cooperative learning model

Abstract

The deficient student reading interest and the lack of learning media in the school lead to a common understanding ofstudents' reading on learning materials. This research aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of picturebook media. This research uses research and development with Sugiyono model. The results showed that the feasibilityof material in picture storybooks was rated feasible (81.81%), while media eligibility in picture storybooks was ratedhighly feasible (91.67%). Based on the average difference through the t-test showed that sig (2-tailed) 0.000 0.05, itwas concluded that the average value between pretest and posttest had significant changes and an average increase throughthe calculation of n-gain of 0.621 with a moderate category.Keywords: picture storybooks; reading ability; reading comprehension

Abstract

This study aims to describe school literacy activities to develop reading habits for third grade students of SD NegeriDiponegoro. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The methods of data collection using interviews,documentation, and field notes. Then the data is tested using credibility and confirmability tests. The results of this studyindicate that: (1) school literacy activities at the habituation stage are proven by providing facilities and infrastructure tosupport, creating an environment which is rich of text, the role of teachers and implementing 15 minutes of readingactivities regularly and can repeatedly build students' reading habits. (2) The supporting factors of school literacyactivities are facilities and infrastructure, allocation of funds and time, also the role of teachers. a, the inhibiting factorsare the students low reading interest, incomplete facilities and infrastructure, also the teachers are not optimal in schoolliteracy activities. (3) The roles of teacher in school literacy activities are to direct activities and help students in choosinga book. (4) The ways to build students' reading habits through school literacy activities, they are providing various typesof books which are students like, increasing students' interest in reading books, motivating students' and forming anenvironment that supports reading habits. The conclusion of this study is that school literacy activities can build students'reading habits through 15 minutes of reading regularly and repeatedly supported by facilities and infrastructure, theenvironment and the role of the teacher.Keywords: school literacy activities; reading habit

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between learning styles and learning interest toward socialstudies learning outcomes of the fourth grade students at elementary school of Kartini Cluster, Pati Regency. The type ofthis research is a correlation study. The population in this research were the fourth grade students of elementary schoolof Kartini Cluster, Pati Regency and consisted of 121 students. The sampling technique used Saturated Sampling. Datacollection techniques used questionnaries, documentation, and interviews. The instrument test was standardized by usingvalidity and reliability tests. The prerequisite analysis test used the normality, linearity, and multicollinearity tests. Whilethe data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, Product Moment correlation analysis, multiple correlation analysis,significant test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was apositive and significant correlation between learning styles and learning interest together toward social studies outcomesthat proved by its score was 0.631 and the value of table data= 0.176. The contribution of learning styles and learninginterest variables on social studies learning outcomes was 62.8% included in the strong category.Keywords: learning style; learning outcomes; interest to learn

Abstract

This study aims to test and prove whether there was a relationship between scouting extracurricular activities andparenting styles with the formation of disciplinary character for the 5 grade students of the Gugus Mawardhi. The methodused in this research is correlation. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation andquestionnaires. The prerequisite tests carried out were the normality test, linearity test, reliability test, andmulticollinearity test. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, simple correlation, multiple correlation, andthe F-test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between scout educationextracurricular activities with the formation of disciplinary character in grade 5 elementary school students. The resultsshowed that rcount was greater than rtable, namely 0.5290.179 with a significance level of 5%. The results showed thatrcount was greater than rtable, namely 0.6370.179 with a significance level of 5%.. These results indicate rcount isgreater than r table, namely 0.677 0.179 with a significance level of 5%, the relationship between the scoutsextracurricular education variables and the formation of disciplinary character is in the moderate category. The results ofthe percentage of student questionnaire responses showed a very positive relationship between scouting extracurricularactivities, parenting styles, and the character of student discipline simultaneously.Keywords: scouting, parenting style, discipline

Abstract

This study at develop instructional media, test the viability and effectiveness of adobe animate cc based interactiveflipbook media on the force and motion topic for the 4th students at Mranggen 4 Elementary School. The method usedResearch and Development (RD). The results showed that interactive media of adobe animate cc based flipbooks canbe used in learning based on the content expert's assessment with a percentage of 75% in the viable category and 78.12%by media expert in the very viable category. The pretest and posttest learning outcomes calculated using N-Gain increasedby 0.4520 in the moderate category. Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Microsoft Sway on PPKn learningoutcomes and to describe students in PPKn learning. This type of research is a quasi experimental design withnonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were fourth grade students of Gugus Wahidin, GrabagDistrict and the samples were fourth grade students of SDN Pesidi as the experimental class and fourth grade students ofSDN Ketawang 02 as the control class using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection using tests, observation,and documentation. The learning outcomes test used in the form of a pretest and posttest in the form of multiple choices.The data analysis used was hypothesis testing, gain test, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that the experimentalclass was 77% higher than the control class, namely 64%. The conclusion of this research is that the Discovery Learningmodel assisted by Microsoft Sway which is used in PPKn learning material forms of socio-cultural diversity in Indonesiacan improve learning outcomes. so as to develop student social interactions that include aspects of cooperation,communicative, and solidarity.Keywords: Discovery Learning; Microsoft Sways; PPKn
