Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang mampu melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa serta memberikan gambaran mikroskopik akan mempermudah siswa dalam mempelajari IPA khususnya aspek kimia untuk pertama kalinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari lembar kerja siswa IPA SMP berbasis inkuiri terbimbing sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi zat dan karakteristiknya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Borg and Gall yang dilaksanakan dalam 7 tahap di MTs Raudhatusysyubban dengan 30 orang siswa sebagai subjek uji coba. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kelayakan lembar kerja siswa yang diisi oleh 3 orang validator dan angket respon siswa terhadap lembar kerja siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif. Hasil validasi dari ketiga validator adalah lembar kerja siswa yang dikembangkan sangat layak. Persentase respon siswa subjek uji coba terhadap lembar kerja siswa adalah sebanyak 13,33% kategori cukup, 30% kategori baik dan 56,67% kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian adalah lembar kerja siswa berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai  media pembelajaran IPA SMP pada materi zat dan karakteristiknya. Lembar kerja siswa ini bisa digunakan oleh siswa dalam mempelajari IPA khususnya pada aspek kimia untuk pertama kalinya ditingkat SMP dengan lebih mudah, menarik dan bermakna.

Abstract

Abstract. The low performance of students in the use of laboratory equipment is often caused by the orientation of teachers who are more focused on achieving the target curriculum and lack of attention to science process skills. The objectives of this study was to describe student activities, students performance, mastery learning outcomes and the response in the 7th grade class of MTsN 1 Candi Laras Utara with a model of Direct Instruction assisted Multimedia for measurement learning. The Class action research conducts in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, evaluating and reflecting.. The data collected in the form of student activity, students performance , mastery learning outcomes and students' responses, through tests and observation. Results indicated that mastery learning outcomes of students has increased from cycle I to II, which is 75% and 94%. The quality of student performance also increased from 90% to 94%. At the end of second cycle students in implementing the questionnaire responses showed that students rerpon of teaching is good.Keywords: Direct Instruction, Multimedia, Learning Science, Measurement

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to know the difference of science generic skills, students’ achievement, and student responds between class by applying of problem solving instructional model aided interactive multimedia and class by applying of problem solving instructional in SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. This study applied quasy experiment method with nonequivalent control group design. Samples of this study are students of XI IPA 5 as experiment group and students of XI IPA 6 as control group. There are two variables in this study such as problem solving instructional model aided interactive multimedia as independent variable, science generic skills and students’ achievement as dependent variable. The experiment group applied problem solving instructional model aided interactive multimedia, while the control group applied problem solving instructional model. Data collection used test technique, observation, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using t-test and descriptive analysis. T-test was used to analyzed differences of science generic skills and student cognitive achievement both experiment group and control group to determine the effect of problem solving instructional model aided interactive model. The results of this study that (1) there are not significantly difference of science generic skills between student of experiment group with control group, (2) there are significantly difference of student cognitive achievement between student of experiment group with control group, and (3) problem solving instructional model aided interactive multimedia received positive responds from student on the hydrolisis of salt material.Keywords: problem solving,interactive multimedia, students’ achievement, science generic skills

Abstract

Abstract. A research on the implementation of problem based learning model aided superitem test of the ability of problem solving solubility and solubility product in SMA Negeri 1 Martapura. The research was quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group. The study population were students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Martapura with a sample of 36 students of class XI student of Mathematics 1 and 35 2 XI MIPA obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected with engineering test and non-test and analyzed using t-test and descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) There are differences in problem solving ability of students to the application of problem based learning model superitem aided test and application of problem based learning model, (2) Activity student on the application of problem based learning model aided superitem tests more active than the student activity on the application Problem Based Learning models and, (3) students give positive response to the application of problem based learning model aided superitem test.Keywords: superitem test, problem based learning, problem solving.

Abstract

Abstrak. A research on the use of models Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC)-assisted learning media bulletin on hydrocarbon material. This study aims to improve teacher activity, student activity, learning outcomes (cognitive), and the students' response to the use of media-aided model of CIRC bulletin on learning hydrocarbon material. This study used a research design class action (PTK) with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and evaluation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects were students of class X-6 SMAN 8 Banjarmasin the number of 33 people. Research data was collected using the observation sheet activity, achievement test, and questionnaire responses. Data were analyzed with descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the application of the model-aided media bulletin CIRC can increase the activity score of 53 teachers from the first cycle to a score of 71.34 in the second cycle with the criteria very well. Student activity also increased from a score of 31.17 in the first cycle to a score of 43.33 in the second cycle with the criteria very well. Mastery of cognitive learning outcomes of students also increased, from 72.70% in the first cycle, and 96.97% in the second cycle. X-6 grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Banjarmasin responded positively to the learning by using a model-aided media bulletin Circ.Keywords : Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC), bulletin, cognitive learning outcomes, hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to know the impact and contribution of awareness to group performance in learning chemistry. The purposive sampling technique is the sampling technique used. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, partial regression coefficient, and correlation. The samples used 43 chemistry students. Data collection techniques used observations, instruments of emotional intelligence and ECGN (Emotional Competence Group Norms). The results showed that except for X1, the constant value of regression increased by the value of X2-X5 variable that increased, it means that there was a slight increase. The t test shows that there is no impact of self awareness on group performance with points t h < t tb (-0.817 < 2.026), lack of contribution of variable X to Y with R Square value 8,1% (0,081), and sign> 0,05.Keyword: Self-Awareness, Group Performance, Learning Chemistry.

Abstract

Abstract. The ability to think critically and understanding self-efficacy is the main thing of every learner should be have. One of the learning models that can combine critical thinking and self-efficacy is the Think Pair Share-Problem Solving learning model. The learnng model of TPS-Problem Solving is applied to students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution concept. The aim of this research is to know the students' critical thinking and self-efficacy after being given the model of TPS-Problem Solving. The design of research used pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group and samples taken by purposive sampling technique. Technique of collecting data using test, that is critical thinking ability and questionnaire in the form of self efficacy questionnaire and student response. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique and inferential analysis. The results showed that there were significant differences between critical thinking ability and self efficacy. The use of the TPS-Problem Solving learning model is more effective than the conventional model and the TPS-Problem Solving learning model gets a positive response from students. Abstract

t has been conducting research about Implementation of learning multiple model Group Investigation and MURDER in learning chemistry especially Buffer Solution. This study aims at finding out the effetiveness of the learning multiple model Group Investigation and MURDER (MGIM) could significantly improve students. This quasi-experimental study involved students of class XI SMAN 3 Banjarmasin of South Kalimantan as a subject. Test instruments were used for measuring students learning outcome. Questionnaire were used for measuring students affective aspect. Students activity measured by observer. By using one way Anava and LSD analysis, this study shows that  the implementation of MGIM in Buffer Solution gives better activity learning outcome than just GI and conventional learning. Implementation of MGIM in Buffer Solution gives better learning activity and affective learning outcome too.Key words: multiple model, GI, MURDER, and Buffer Solution

Abstract

The constructivist paradigm for the instructional design to facilitate not only the thinking processes but also the social interaction processes. As such, Group Investigation and Inductive model in learning science. In Group Investigation (GI) models, learning to work together productively as well as to interact socially and effectively in a small group to problem solving. A variety of skills, for example, interpersonal, problem solving, and study skills would be needed. In Group Investigation and inductive models could sharpen the students‟ ability academically as well as socially; the application of  GI models could increase students‟ activities and process skill during the learning  process science. Futhermore, the students showed their enthusiasm and high motivation in doing their tasks, presentations and discussions. Besides, their attention, concentration, interaction, creativity, cooperation in group and their work in problem solving. Cooperative learning type GI could increase the students‟ achievement in learning Science.In Inductive models, student as center in learning process. Student learning is constructed knowledge and teacher facilitate to true understanding about material learning.  Thus, the GI and inductive models could be applied as one of the alternatives in learning science at school because it could increase the students‟ enthusiasm and also the students‟ learning achievement.
