Indonesian Language Education and Literature is a journal of research publication. The scopes of this research are Indonesian language and literature teaching, either as the first, second, or foreign language. The research can be conducted in elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and / or university. The journal is regularly published on July and December in collaboration with the cooperation Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (ADOBSI) or The Association of Indonesian Language and Literature Lecturers and Ikatan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (IKAPROBSI) or The association of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program.

Connectionism theory view that learning occurs by experimenting and making mistakes, as well as language learning in early childhood. Each early childhood initially tries to speak and make mistakes before they become accustomed to the pronunciation and correct. Any child's vocabulary has increased and finally to convey the intent and purpose to his interlocutor well. The process can be seen from the process of learning a second language in early childhood. In second language learning is done by younger children show conformity of laws and principles of learning connectionism theory. Giving the prize being a stimulus of children to learn and motivated to recite the words proposed as a form of positive response. Reduced average number of repetitions of the first week as many as seventeen times to three times in the fourth week is a proof of principle trial and error learning proposed by Edward Thorndike. Factors second language learning is strongly influenced by age, first language, language development and motivation.

The analysis of discourse drama “Esok di Neraka” is analysis which recite the cosehiveness between cohesion and coherence in every dialog in that manuscript. The other aims of this analys is to describe part of instrument and shape of cohesion and coherence. The benefit of this research teoritically, used to the reader who want to research the discourse of drama. Beside that, reader can understand linguistic aspects in that discourse.

Classroom action research was conducted with the aim of: 1. To enhance the learning process for students tell the class VII A junior Bhayangkari Karangpandan, 2. To improve the ability to tell the students of class VII A junior Bhayangkari Karangpandan. Execution carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four (4) steps of activities, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Prior to the first cycle begins with the initial research activities to find out the condition of the subjects. Based on preliminary research results compiled in the form of research, planning learning implementation plan. First cycle of action as an effort to improve the conditions stated lack of or low on the initial research. Activity Cycle II, the efforts to repair/ improvement of a state which is still less in the first cycle. The result of study shows that low-ability students to tell based on initial research, one of which caused no/ not use the GCC appropriate learning media to achieve the expected competencies. In this study, the actions taken to improve the process and learning outcomes using instructional media telling picture. After doing the action over the past two cycles, the results showed that by using media images as well the ability to tell the students can be improved.

Discourse analysis can be reviewed in terms of cohesion and coherence. Cohesion includes this reference (reference), substitution (substitution), omissions (ellipsis), conjunctions (conjunction), and lexical cohesion (lexical cohesion). This study only focuses on the aspects of this reference (reference only. References there are two kinds of endofora and eksofora. Endofora subdivided into anaphora and katafora. The focus of this study is novel discourse analysis Supernova: AKAR by Dee Lestari terms of reference specifically endofora reference.

Learning to write poetry is still a monocultural means not pay attention to the diversity that exist for this. Teachers did not master the learning material to write poetry, but learning to write poetry to lift the cultural diversity in the student environment. This study focused on the model sinectic on multicultural contextual learning to write poetry. This study is specifically aimed at identifying the development needs sinectic, explained the characteristics and create a model for learning to write poetry sinectic multicultural. This research was conducted by the research design and development models sinectic multicultural learning writing poetry. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the initial test and final test, the thoroughness of the larger end of the initial tests. Initial tests were completed 57.14% and final tests are completed 100% so there is an increase of 42.86%. Based on these findings, it can be stated that the model can improve learning sinectic writing poetry have multicultural and positive impact in shaping the character of students.

This paper analyzes the response of short texts on the short message service (SMS), the devices used in analyzing the discourse of language short message service (SMS) is the cohesion that has a variation using marker cohesion, reference, substitution, ellipsis, conjunctions, and lexical cohesion (lexical cohesion). This paper uses data that all 15 samples senders respond to questions about the announcement at the reception CPNS Ngawi District. Languages write short message service (sms) a brief and 'mixed' is an interesting characteristic.

Use appropriate teaching methods teachers' creativity. Learning foreign languages, especially Arabic Arabic Intensification Program IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon using various methods. Inquiry method, question and answer, and the group is a method of teaching according to the constructivist approach. Constructivist theory of learning understood as the process of formation (construction) knowledge by the learners themselves. Interest in constructivist theory encourages authors to observe the application of constructivist theory in a group of 28 Intensification Program Arabic IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Results observation is that the Arabic language learning in a group of 28 Intensification Program Arabic IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon approach constructivism theory.

Indonesian has a position and a very important function, as listed in the 1928 Youth Pledge pledge which reads Our sons and daughters of Indonesia to uphold the national language, Indonesian. In plain view, the younger generation and the public are still many who do not know about the position and function of Indonesian. There it is forgotten that the Indonesian actually has a function as a symbol of the pride of nationhood, national identity, means of transportation atarwarga, interregional and intercultural, as well as tools that allow the unification of the various ethnic groups with socio-cultural background and language of each into a unitary national Indonesia , It is very clear that the Indonesian association as an intermediate language (lingua franca) from time immemorial.

Literary work is a socio-cultural documentation. This is because the socio-cultural influence the creation of works of literature itself. Following the feminist studies on novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk and Perempuan Berkalung Surban. The research is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique document. Based on the analysis it can be concluded that the RDP and PBS equally raised about women, especially girls. Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk exploit girls economically while Perempuan Berkalung Surban not provide an opportunity for girls to determine their own lives. Both novels are equally illustrate inequities in girls.

In the Indonesian language there is one type of sentence, that sentence inversion. Inversion sentence is sentence structure subject precedes predicate function (P-S). Based on the results of data analysis, there are several types of sequence patterns syntactic function contained in the phrase inversion Indonesian namely (1) PS, (2) POS, (3) P-Pel-S, (4) PO-Pel-S, (5) PS with Specification, (6) POS with Description, (7) P-Pel-S with the description, and (8) PO-Pel-S with a description. Also there are different types of sentences in the sentences Indonesian inversion which consists of: (1) sentence declarative inversion which is divided into two types of patterns that can be converted into the S-P and type that can not be converted into P-S; (2) The inversion of interrogative sentences are divided into two inversions interrogative sentences that require yes or no answers and inversion interrogative sentences that require answers explanatory; (3) sentence inversion imperative which is divided into two inversions imperative sentences with active diathesis and passive sentences with inversion imperative diathesis; and (4) the sentence exlasamative.
