Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to develop the representative material of Islamic education management. The teaching materials using education management theories and thinking were enriched with articles using Mendeley reference management. Modified research and development designs method were used. Data were collected using a Google form. The population and sample were Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) IAIN Pontianak students of the academic year 2020/2021. Findings reported that teaching materials developed from online journals have a high level of usefulness and are easy to use. The students can get the latest references published in online journals, making it easier to understand and learn about the course topic. This study suggests that lecturers and students use Mendeley to look for references and write scientific papers.Keywords: Islamic education management, teaching material, scientific journal, mendeley. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi representatif manajemen pendidikan Islam. Materi ajar yang menggunakan teori dan pemikiran manajemen pendidikan diperkaya dengan artikel dengan menggunakan referensi manajemen Mendeley. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang dimodifikasi digunakan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan google form, populasi dan sampel dari mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtiadiyah (PGMI) IAIN Pontianak tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil penelitian dilaporkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dari jurnal online memiliki tingkat kegunaan yang tinggi dan mudah digunakan. Mahasiswa dapat memperoleh referensi terbaru yang telah dipublikasikan di jurnal online, sehingga lebih mudah dipahami dan mudah dipelajari sesuai dengan topik mata kuliah. Penelitian ini menyarankan dosen dan mahasiswa menggunakan Mendeley untuk mencari referensi dan menulis karya ilmiah.Kata kunci: manajemen pendidikan Islam, bahan ajar, jurnal ilmiah, mendeley.

Abstract

AbstractThe need to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) for prospective primary school teachers in facing society 5.0 has been motivating this research. This development process requires valid data regarding the HOTS description of prospective primary school teachers. The research is aimed to determine the HOTS ability of prospective primary school teachers in facing society 5.0. This is a qualitative descriptive study involving 125 senior students in the department of primary school teacher education. The data collection instrument utilized the validated mathematical HOTS test questions. The resulting score is then converted to an ideal score and mapped. The average score attained by prospective primary school teacher students was 57.01, according to the findings. This score indicates that prospective teachers' HOTS ability is in the fairly good category. The findings of this study can be used to improve HOTS for future teachers.Keywords: HOTS, prospective primary school teacher, mathematics. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya pengembangan HOTS calon guru sekolah dasar (SD) dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Proses pengembangan ini diperlukan data valid mengenai gambaran HOTS calon guru SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kemampuan HOTS calon guru SD pada pembelajaran matematika dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatitif dengan melibatkan sebanyak 125 mahasiwa akhir di jurusan pendidikan guru sekolah dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal test HOTS matematis yang telah divalidasi. Skor yang didapatkan kemudian di tranformasi ke skor ideal dan kemudian dipetakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata yang diperoleh oleh mahasiswa calon guru SD adalah 57,01. Skor ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan HOTS mahasiswa calon guru berada pada kategori cukup baik. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan dalam pengembangan HOTS calon guru ke depan.Kata kunci: HOTS, calon guru SD, matematika.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to analyze the students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in Science subjects at Islamic Elementary School in Salatiga, Indonesia. It is descriptive qualitative research. Using the nonprobability sampling with convenience sampling method, this study involved 120 students as the sample. The data were gathered using tests, questionnaires, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and documentations. The descriptive analysis with percentile formula was used to analyze the data. The results indicated that the students' HOTS abilities were still at the low level. In Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) questions category, the students' ability to answer questions ranged from 0.6 to 0.9 (good). In Middle Order Thinking Skills (MOTS) questions category, the index of the students' abilities was 0.35 to 0.65 (the medium category). In HOTS questions category, the index of the students’ abilities was 0.075 to 0.45 (the low category). Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts in improving the HOTS ability of Islamic Elementary School students.Keywords: higher order thinking skills, Islamic elementary school students, science subject. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Madrasah Ibtidayah Kota Salatiga, Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Dengan menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan metode convenience sampling, penelitian ini melibatkan 120 siswa sebagai sampel. Pada kategori soal HOTS, indeks kemampuan siswa adalah 0,075 sd 0,45 (kategori rendah). Abstract

AbstractThe readiness of elementary school teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic to engage in distance learning is the basis for developing a training mode for teachers. This study aims to ensure the readiness of elementary school teachers to participate in distance learning and training during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this study, descriptive quantitative is used with online survey techniques. The research subjects were 85 elementary school teachers in Indonesia who voluntarily filled out a questionnaire. The data were collected through a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale and open-ended questions. The data were analyzed by calculating the average of each item and making a percentage. Research findings indicate that 37.22% of the respondents were ready to engage in distance learning and training with a blended mode. They used various applications such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Form, and YouTube.Keywords: teachers’ readiness, elementary school, distance learning, training. AbstrakKesiapan guru SD di masa pandemi COVID-19 untuk mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh menjadi dasar pengembangan model pelatihan bagi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memastikan kesiapan guru sekolah dasar untuk mengikuti pembelajaran dan pelatihan jarak jauh selama pandemi COVID-19. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survei online. Subyek penelitian adalah 85 guru sekolah dasar di Indonesia yang secara sukarela mengisi angket. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen angket dengan skala likert dan pertanyaan terbuka. Data dianalisis dengan menghitung rata-rata setiap item dan membuat persentase. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 37,22% responden siap untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran dan pelatihan jarak jauh dengan mode campuran. Mereka menggunakan berbagai aplikasi seperti WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Form, dan YouTube.Kata kunci: kesiapan guru, sekolah dasar, pembelajaran jarak jauh, pelatihan.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low self-efficacy of elementary school students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) that impact on their academic failure. This study aims to describe the behaviorally based intervention approach in improving the self-efficacy of ADHD students in elementary school. This case study involved five students of an elementary school in Cirebon city. The data were gathered via observations, interviews, and documentation and then analyzed using the descriptive qualitative technique.  The results showed that the use of a behavior-based intervention approach could enhance the students' self-efficacy in the aspects of academic achievement, adjustment, social relations, and self-assessment. Therefore, the behavior-based intervention approach can be used as an alternative in increasing the self-efficacy of students with ADHD.Keywords: behaviorally based intervention approach, self-efficacy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya efikasi diri siswa sekolah dasar dengan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) yang berdampak pada kegagalan akademik mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa ADHD di sekolah dasar. Studi kasus ini melibatkan 5 siswa sekolah dasar di kota Cirebon. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dan kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa, baik pada aspek prestasi akademik, aspek penyesuaian diri, aspek hubungan sosial, maupun aspek penilaian diri. Untuk itu, pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dapat menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa ADHD.Kata kunci: pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku, efikasi diri, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Abstract

AbstractWith rapid advances in technology and information and child attachment to digital media, integrated digital literacy in the teaching and learning process is crucial. This study aims to determine the integrated digital media literacy in the teaching and learning process developed by the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in DKI Jakarta and its impact on the prevention of vulnerability of the students' deviant behavior. This research used a qualitative method. The sample was taken randomly. The data were collected through virtual interviews –Zoom Meeting, WhatsApp Voice Call, virtual observation, Google form questionnaires, and documentation. Then, they were analyzed descriptively. This study found that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in DKI Jakarta has integrated digital media literacy through 4 strategies. They are the literacy of special programs, integrated to the learning material, learning sources provision, and literacy of teachers' and staff's exemplariness. The benefit of literacy to students is that they can prevent themselves from deviant behavior. It includes the ability to prevent bullying, avoid access to harmful content, and intercept cybercrime.Keywords: integrated learning, digital literacy, deviant behavior. AbstrakSeiring dengan pesatnya teknologi dan informasi serta keterikatan anak dengan media digital, integrasi literasi digital dalam pembelajaran merupakan keniscayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola integrasi literasi media digital dalam pembelajaran yang dikembangkan di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan dampaknya terhadap pencegahan kerentanan perilaku menyimpang pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara virtual menggunakan platform zoom, watshap voice call, observasi virtual, kuesioner melalui google form serta studi dokumen. Analisis dalam penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif.  Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pola integrasi literasi media digital yang dikembangkan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Provinsi DKI Jakarta melalui 4 strategi yaitu literasi melalui program khusus, terintegrasi dalam materi pembelajaran, penyediaan sumber belajar dan literasi melalui keteladanan guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Manfaat literasi pada peserta didik mampu menumbuhkan efek cegah dari penyimpangan perilaku pada peserta didik diantaranya; mencegah bullying, menghindari akses konten negatif dan mencegah kejahatan siber.Kata kunci: integrasi pembelajaran, literasi digital, perilaku menyimpang.

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research are 1) to describe the process of developing interactive multimedia based on android on fairy tale material for grade 3 elementary school students based on the Rowntree development model; 2) knowing the validity of the product; 3) knowing the practicality of the product being developed. The type of research used was research and development. The development model used was the Rowntree model. This research produced interactive folklore based on android applications. The instruments used in this research were validation questionnaires and sheets for comments and suggestions from the validator. This research produced the interactive folklore based on android applications. The folklore presented was based on the local wisdom of East Java. The folklore application was equipped with games of language to improve the students' ability to understand folklore material. The folklore application was validated by multimedia experts and language learning experts with a product validity level of 85.5%. The results of the practicality questionnaire showed a combined average score of 93.3%. The advantages of the folklore application developed are that the material is packaged in a simple and attractive way, contains language games, and can be opened using a smartphone. However, the weakness of the product is that the command sentences in the quiz are less specific, and there is no discussion in the game. In addition, it can only be opened using a smartphone.Keywords: reading comprehension, folklore, android application. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis android pada materi dongeng bagi siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar berdasarkan model pengembangan Rowntree; 2) mengetahui kevalidan produk; 3) mengetahui kepraktisan produk yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan model rownthree. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penelitian ini adalah angket validasi dan lembar pengisian komentar dan saran validator. Penelitian ini menghasilkan dongeng interaktif berbasis aplikasi android. Dongeng yang disajikan merupakan dongeng-dongeng sesuai dengan kearifan lokal Jawa Timur. Aplikasi dongeng dilengkapi dengan permainan bahasa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi dongeng. Aplikasi dongeng telah divalidasi oleh ahli multimedia dan ahli pembelajaran bahasa dengan tingkat validitas produk sebesar 85,5%. Sedangkan hasil angket kepraktisan menunjukkan skor rata-rata gabungan sebesar 93,3%. Kelebihan dari aplikasi dongeng yang dikembangkan adalah materi dikemas sederhana dan menarik, memuat permainan bahasa, serta dapat dibuka menggunakan smartphone secara offline. Sedangkan kekurangan produk yaitu kalimat perintah dalam kuis kurang spesifik dan tidak ada pembahasan dalam permainan. Selain itu, produk hanya dapat dibuka menggunakan smartphone.Kata kunci: pemahaman membaca, cerita rakyat, aplikasi android.

Abstract

AbstractScience learning does not only involve facts and concepts but also ways of thinking, explaining scientifically, and doing a practicum. Unfortunately, existing e-learning and/or social media have not been able to facilitate the implementation of online practicums. Therefore, an e-scaffolding website based on scientific explanations is needed as teaching media and materials since learning is mostly conducted online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe the development process and the validity and legibility of the e-scaffolding website to develop scientific explanations for elementary school pre-service teachers. The development of this e-scaffolding website refers to the development model developed by Lee and Owens (2004). The instrument of this study was a questionnaire using a Likert scale. There are 3 kinds of questionnaires used, including the material validation questionnaire by the expert validator, the media validation questionnaire by the expert validator, and the student readability test questionnaire. The results showed that the average product validation results on the website aspect were 84% and, on the e-scaffolding aspect was 86.67%. While the results of the product readability test were 82.29%. This means that the development of the e-scaffolding website based on scientific explanations is very valid and very feasible to use in developing the scientific explanation abilities of elementary school pre-service teachersKeywords: website e-scaffolding, scientific explanation, teaching materials. AbstrakDalam pembelajaran sains tidak hanya melibatkan fakta dan konsep, tetapi juga cara berpikir dan menjelaskan secara ilmiah. Selain itu, dalam pembelajaran sains juga membutuhkan praktikum. Sayangnya, e-learning atau media sosial yang ada belum dapat memfasilitasi pelaksanaan praktikum online. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan website e-scaffolding berbasis penjelasan ilmiah sebagai media dan bahan ajar di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan kevalidan serta keterbacaan website e-scaffolding untuk mengembangkan scientific explanation calon guru sekolah dasar. Pengembangan website e-scaffolding ini mengacu pada model pengembangan yang dikembangkan oleh Lee & Owens. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Angket yang digunakan ada 3 macam, yaitu angket validasi materi oleh validator, angket validasi media oleh validator, dan angket uji keterbacaan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil validasi produk pada aspek website sebesar 84% dan pada aspek e-scaffolding sebesar 86,67%. Sedangkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk sebesar 82,29%. Hal ini berarti bahwa pengembangan website e-scaffolding berbasis penjelasan ilmiah sangat valid dan sangat layak digunakan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan penjelasan ilmiah calon guru sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: website e-scaffolding, penjelasan ilmiah, bahan ajar.

Abstract

AbstractThe government through the Ministry of Education and Culture launched a new policy that was quite controversial, abolishing the National Examination and replacing it with a new assessment mechanism, namely the Minimum Competency Assessment (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum, abbreviated as AKM). The implementation of AKM has elicited various responses from schools, teachers, and the community. One of the responses that emerged was confusion regarding the concepts, mechanisms, and forms of questions in the AKM. This study aims to answer these issues, by developing a supplementary book for preparing AKM-based questions. This study is developmental research by adapting the Borg and Gall model. There were four stages in this study, including planning, developing, try-out, and dissemination. Data collection technique used questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Quantitative data from the questionnaire were analysed using percentage analysis techniques. While the qualitative data used were descriptive analysis techniques.  Based on the results of the validation and try-out had been carried out, this supplementary book can be said to be valid and worthy of distribution. The validity test and try-out of prospective users showed that the product that had been developed provides benefits for teachers. The supplementary book for preparing AKM-based questions is a product that can provide information about technical steps for teachers in developing learning evaluation models. However, some improvements still need to be made following the suggestions obtained from the validators and potential users.Keywords: minimum competency assessment, supplementary book, teacher, elementary school. AbstrakPemerintah melalui Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan meluncurkan kebijakan baru yang cukup kontroversial, yaitu meniadakan Ujian Nasional dan menggantinya dengan mekanisme penilaian baru, yaitu Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Implementasi AKM menuai berbagai tanggapan dari pihak sekolah, guru, dan masyarakat. Salah satu tanggapan yang muncul adalah kebingungan mengenai konsep, mekanisme, dan bentuk soal dalam AKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dengan mengembangkan buku pelengkap penyusunan soal berbasis AKM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadaptasi model Borg and Gall. Ada empat tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu perencanaan, pengembangan, uji coba, dan diseminasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Data kuantitatif dari kuesioner dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis persentase. Sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba yang telah dilakukan, maka buku pelengkap ini dapat dikatakan valid dan layak edar. Uji validitas dan uji coba calon pengguna menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan memberikan manfaat bagi guru. Buku pelengkap penyusunan soal berbasis AKM merupakan produk yang dapat memberikan informasi tentang langkah-langkah teknis bagi guru dalam mengembangkan model evaluasi pembelajaran. Abstract

AbstractThe use of digital-based learning media is very necessary for teachers.  The existing limited media becomes the main reason why Ancermat (anthology of mathematical stories) learning media is developed and expected to be able to improve elementary school students’ problem solving skills. This study aims to describe the stages of the development of Ancermat learning media and find out whether it meets valid, practical criteria, and its effectiveness. The method used was the development research. The data analysis comprised of validity test analysis, practicality test analysis, and analysis of Ancermat media effectiveness using descriptive statistics and gain normalization test. The results showed that Ancermat learning media met the valid score of 4.53 with very high criteria and fulfilled the practicality test based on the students’ responses reaching an average score of 4.41 with very good criteria. Based on the gain test, it reached 0.580 with moderate criteria and met the minimum criteria of mastery learning with t count = 27.33> t table = 2.042, meaning that the average score of the problem-solving skill tests met the minimum criteria of mastery learning. So, it can be concluded that the Ancermat learning media meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective in improving the mathematical problem solving abilities of elementary school students.Keywords: ancermat, learning media digital, problem solving skills, elementary school students. AbstrakPenggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital sangat diperlukan bagi para guru. Keterbatasan media yang ada menjadi alasan utama dikembangkannya media pembelajaran Ancermat (antologi cerita matematika) dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pengembangan media pembelajaran Ancermat dan mengetahui apakah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Analisis data meliputi analisis uji validitas, analisis uji kepraktisan, dan analisis efektivitas media Ancermat menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji normalisasi Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Ancermat memenuhi skor valid sebesar 4,53 dengan kriteria sangat tinggi dan memenuhi uji kepraktisan berdasarkan respon siswa mencapai skor rata-rata 4,41 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji n-gain mencapai 0,580 dengan kriteria sedang dan memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal dengan t hitung = 27,33 > t tabel = 2,042, artinya skor rata-rata tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Ancermat memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa sekolah dasar.Kata kunci: ancermat, media pembelajaran digital, keterampilan pemecahan masalah, siswa sekolah dasar.
