Abstract

Masyarakat majemuk bagian dari sunnatullah, yang memberikan sumbangan besar bagi munculnya ketegangan, konflik dan krisis sosial, sehingga tuntutan reformasi sistem pendidikan Islam yang terkesan sebagai alat indoktrinasi yang anti realitas multikultural perlu dilakukan agar mampu menciptakan tatanan kehidupan masyarakat yang damai, harmonis, menjunjung tinggi nilai kemanusiaan, dan mampu beradaptasi dengan berbagai golongan yang berbeda namun tetap tidak terlepas dari akar budaya, agama, jati dirinya, dalam masyarakat yang plural sebagai insān kamīl (manusia paripurna). Pendidikan Islam berwawasan multikultural hadir bertujuan untuk: 1) menghapus prasangka “prejudice”, dan sekaligus untuk melatih dan membangun karakter siswa agar mampu bersikap demokratis, humanis dan pluralis; 2) membangun pemahaman keberagaman siswa yang inklusif sehingga mampu mengeliminir jarak sosial antar peserta didik yang berbeda agama guna terciptanya persaudaraan sejati; 3) mengajarkan bagaimana cara hidup ditengah pluralisme bangsanya; 4) memberikan perlindungan dari diskriminasi; 5) mengakui dan meng-akomodasi kebebasan individu kelompok minoritas, seperti berbicara, berkelompok, menjalankan agama dan sebagainya yang berakar dari nilai-nilai kebebasan, kesetaraan dan demokrasi, sehingga hak-hak kultural minoritas dapat terakomodasi dengan baik, yang berarti bahwa setiap peserta didik mempunyai hak untuk masuk dalam budaya tertentu, ikut dibentuk dan membentuk budaya itu. Plural society is a part of sunnatullah, which contributed greatly to the emergence of tension, conflict and social crisis, so that the demands for reform Islamic education system that impressed as a indoctrination of anti realities of multicultural needs to be done on creating a social order that is peaceful, harmonious, uphold humanity, and able to adapt to different groups but still cannot be separated from the roots of culture, religion, identity, in pluralistic society as insān kamīl. Islamic Education aims to present a multicultural conception: 1) remove the prejudice, and to train and build the character of students to be able to be democratic, humanist and pluralist; 2) build understanding of the diversity of students inclusive to eliminate the social distance between learners of different religions to create true brotherhood; 3 ) teaches how to live amid pluralism nation; 4) providing protection from discrimination; 5) recognizes accommodation individual freedom of minority groups, such as talking, group, practice religion and so on are rooted in the values of freedom, equality and democracy, so cultural rights of minorities can be accommodated properly, which means that every student has the right to enter into a particular culture, are formed and participate in shaping the culture.

Abstract

The study are aimed to determine the students’ character education of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department, the implementation also the factors inhibiting and supporting the implementation of character education in the learning morals (akhlak) of PGMI students. This study focuses on the implementation of students’ character education in Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department. The subjects of this research are the lecturers of moral (akhlak) subject and the fourths semester students of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department STAIN Salatiga. The data is collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings show that character education of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department students have been in a good condition. The only curiosity and care to environment indicators that still less. The implementation strategy in this research is by example, parable, habituation and advice or warning. While the inhibiting and supporting factors are derived from the internal factors of individual students and families as well as the contributing factors. While the external factors are instructional methods and media as well as campus and community environmental factors. Campus and community environmental factors become the obstacle to implement the character education of Islamic Primary Teacher Education (PGMI) department students.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Responden adalah Kepala Sekolah, guru PAI, dan guru kelas. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan hasil wawancara, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan kemudian data ditranskip menjadi data yang lengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa tunarungu di SMPLB Wantu Wirawan Salatiga berpedoman pada kurikulum KTSP SMP dengan modifikasi guru. Materi yang disampaikan ditekankan pada materi akhlak dan fiqih dengan bobot materi lebih ringan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, latihan demonstrasi, menggunakan bahasa yang sederhana, suara yang keras, pelan, jelas, menghadap ke siswa agar melihat gerak bibir guru, dan menggunakan alat peraga. Hasil pembelajaran PAI menunjukkan bahwa siswa tunarungu sudah menjalankan ritual keagamaan dalam keseharian dan berperilaku seperti tuntunan agama, yaitu siswa tunarungu sangat sopan, ramah dan terbiasa melakukan wudhu dan sholat wajib. Kendala yang dialami guru pendidikan agama Islam diantaranya kurangnya jumlah guru PAI, kurangnya pemanfaatan media, kurang disiplinnya siswa. Guru SMPLB-B dalam mengajar menggunakan pendekatan individual, pembiasaan, latihan, dan pengulangan. Anak tunarungu sulit mengartikan konsep abstrak dan kurangnya kemampuan bahasa untuk berkomunikasi sehingga guru melatih dalam meningkatkan bahasa dengan menggunakan bahasa isyarat, menulis, berbicara dan pengejaannya, maupun campuran diantara keseluruhannya. It is a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The respondents are the Principal, Islamic religious (PAI) teachers, and classroom teachers. Data were collected by interviews, documentation and field notes. The results showed that the learning of Islamic Education of deaf students in SMPLB Wantu Wirawan, Salatiga based on the curriculum based competence (KTSP) with modification. Materials are presented by emphasis on material of morals and jurisprudence by lighter weight using lectures, discussion, and exercise demonstrations. SLMP-LB uses a simple language and its delivery should be with aloud, slowly, clearly, and face to face, so that students can see the teachers lips move. Learning media employs more props. The learning results show that deaf students are already do a religious ritual in everyday life and behave like religious guidance, such as they act politely, friendly and used to perform ablution and prayer. Constraints experienced by the Islamic religious education teachers include lack of teachers of PAI, the lack of ability of teachers to use the media, lack of discipline students. SMPLB-B teachers are more patient, loving, and the individualized teaching approach, habituation, exercise, model, and repetition. Children with hearing impairment is difficult to interpret the abstract concept and the lack of language skills to communicate so that teachers train in enhancing language using sign language, writing practice, speaking practice, train justification speech, or a mixture of sign language, writing, speech and utterance justification.

Abstract

The study is an effort to know how is the way healing method of mental nuisance victim and drug addict by religious guidance. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The data is collected by interview, observation, and documentation which are involved in research object. The finding of field shows significant result of establishment by religious activity (such as performing prayer together, reciting holy Qur’an and shalawat, dzikrul manakib, istighosah, mujahadah, and pray therapy) that influence the victim’s recovery. Based on the result, the researcher draw a conclusion that religious approach can be an alternative way to solve psychological matter, especially such thing related to mental or drug addict nuisance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi dan hambatan edutainment pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Wonosegoro tahun 2014, serta bagaimana mengatasi hambatan strategi pembelajaran edutainment pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Wonosegoro tahun 2014. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendeskripsian fenomena-fenomena yang ada di SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Wonosegoro, dengan kehadiran peneliti sebagai pengamat dan sebagai pengumpul data. Data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Strategi pembelajaran disusun untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu yang ditetapkan oleh guru. Suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dapat dirasakan oleh peserta didik dalam mencapai prestasi belajar, strategi pembelajaran edutainment diharapkan dapat mencetak lulusan yang tidak hanya dalam nilai (angka) yang baik, namun memiliki kecerdasan kognitif, emosional, dan kecerdasan spiritual. Pendekatan edutainment melalui permainan (game), humor, bermain peran (role play), demonstrasi dan cara-cara lain yang dapat dikuasai oleh guru dan siswa. Hambatannya, sumber daya manusia dalam menjalankan strategi pembelajaran edutainment, peserta didik cenderung bermain hingga melupakan esensi pembelajaran, bahan pembelajaran, waktu pembelajaran yang minim, sarana dan prasana yang terbatas, lingkungan belajar yang kurang mendukung dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran edutainment. The purpose of the research is to determine the strategies and the barriers of edutainment learning strategy on Islamic religious lesson (PAI) in SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Wonosegoro 2014 also the ways to overcome barriers for the learning strategy. The research conducted through describing the phenomena that exist in SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Wonosegoro. The researcher acted as an observer and data collector. The data collected by interviews, of observations, documentation. The result shows that learning strategies are designed to achieve certain goals set by the teacher. Enjoyable learning atmosphere can be felt by learners in achieving learning. Edutainment learning strategy is expected to produce qualified people, who not only good in their score, but also has a cognitive, emotional and spiritual intelligence as well. Edutainment learning strategy applied through game, humor, role play, demonstrations and other ways that can be mastered by teachers and students. The obstacles are human resources as the doer of Edutainment Learning Strategy, learners tend to play and forget the essence of learning, materials, time limitation, limited facilities and infrastructures, also less supportive learning environment in the application of learning strategies edutainment.

Abstract

Studi ini menguraikan perpaduan antara konsep Islam dan metode Montessori terutama untuk membangun karakter yang baik bagi anak-anak. Metode pendidikan Montessori adalah salah satu metode yang populer sebagai salah satu metode terbaik di Barat, terutama untuk mengajar anak-anak. Dalam al-Quran, sebagai sumber kehidupan masyarakat muslim, telah disebutkan semua laporan Montessori. Ada lima konsep dalam metode pendidikan Montessori yang bisa dipadukan dengan teori mengajar anak-anak dalam al-Quran dan al-Hadits; Konsep Kebebasan dengan konsep "Fitrah", Struktur dengan konsep Langkah demi langkah, Realitas dan Alam dengan konsep Mencintai Alam dan Makhluk Hidup, Keindahan dan Nuansa sejalan dengan konsep Kebersihan dan Keindahan Islam, dan Materi Montessori dengan Proses Konsep Pembelajaran Hidup. Hasil perpaduan nilai-nilai tersebut dapat membangun karakter yang baik untuk anak-anak, terutama menjadikan mereka orang beragama dengan sikap yang baik untuk masa depan mereka. This study simply reveals about the assimilation of Islamic education values and Montessori education method especially to build the good character for children. Montessori education method is one of the method which really popular as one of the best method in Western, especially for teaching children. In al-Quran, as the source of Moslem people’s life, has mentioned all the statements of Montessori. There are five aspects in Montessori education methods that we collaborate with the theory of teaching children in al-Quran and al-Hadits; Concept of Freedom with Concept of “Fitrah”, Structure and Order with Concept of Step by Step, Reality and Nature with Concept of Loving the Nature and Living Being, Beauty and Nuance in line with Concept of Cleanness and Beauty of Islam, and Montessori Materials with Concept Process of Life Learning. The result of collaboration those methods can build the good character for children, especially create them to be religious person with the great attitude and behavior for their future.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bermaksud untuk meneliti dan memetakan pemikiran Azyumardi Azra tentang pendidikan Islam, namun memfokuskan kajian pada lembaga pendidikan Islam informal, pesantren. Dalam pandangan Azra, pesantren sebagai bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dengan pendidikan nasional telah diakui perannya sebagai agen perubahan sosial. Karenanya, ia dituntut untuk terus memainkan perannya secara proaktif dan dinamis. Kehadirannya diharapkan terus menjadi cahaya pencerah,  membawa perubahan, sekaligus memberi kontribusi berarti bagi perbaikan kehidupan seluruh umat manusia pada umumnya dan umat Islam khususnya. Namun,seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, lebih-lebih di era globalisasi seperti sekarang ini,  pesantren kini menghadapi masalah-masalah (akibat dampak globalisasi) yang tidak kunjung selesai bahkan hingga membenang kusut. Akibatnya, pesantren kini dipandang oleh banyak kalangan (baik dari pengelola pendidikan Islam itu sendiri maupun masyarakat luas) sebagai pendidikan kelas dua (second class). Karena itu, agar pesantren mampu terus memainkan perannya dengan baik, yakni menjadi produsen yang menghasilkan manusia-manusia yang berilmu, berteknologi, berketerampilan tinggi, dan sekaligus beriman dan beramal saleh, ia harus dimodernisasi secara serius sesuai dengan kerangka modernitas. Sebab, mempertahankan pemikiran kelembagaan Islam “tradisional” hanya akan memperpanjang nestapa ketidakberdayaan kaum muslim dalam berhadapan dengan kemajuan dunia modern. This paper intends to examine the Azyumardi Azra thinking about Islamic education and focuses on informal Islamic education institutions, boarding school (Pesantren). In view of Azra, boarding schools as an integral part of national education has been recognized its role as agents of social change. Therefore, they are required to continue their role in a proactive and dynamic way. Theirpresence is expected to bring about change, as well as provide significant contributions to improve the people lives in general and Muslims in particular. However, along with the times, especially in globalization era, boarding schools are facing problems due to the impact of globalization,whichis not finished even to the fibrous tangles. As a result, boarding schools are now regarded by many people(both of the Islamic education manager and the broader community) as a second class education.Therefore, in order to continue its role, i.e. to producehuman beings who have knowledge, technology, highly skilled, devout and do good behave, they must be seriously modernized in accordance with the framework of modernity. In case of maintaining the Islamic "traditional" institutional thinking will only prolong the agony of Muslim helplessness in dealing with the development of modern world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya menggali lebih dalam dalam tentang relasi masyarakat dengan pondok pesantren dan peran pondok pesantren dalam pembinaan keberagamaan remaja. Pertanyaan utama yang ingin dijawab melalui penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perilaku keberagamaan remaja?, bagaimana peran pondok pesantren dalam meningkatkan perilaku keberagamaan?, apa problematika pembinaan keberagamaan remaja? Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan November 2013 di pondok pesantren al-Hasan. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas, pengasuh, pengurus dan santri serta remaja sekitar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi. Setelah melakukan analisis, di peroleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa keberagamaan remaja yang beragam dan agak minim. Peran pondok yang dijalankan sebagai fasilitator, mobilisasi, sumber daya manusia, agent of development dan agen of excellence kurang berjalan maksimal. Pembinaan yang dilakukan kurang berjalan maksimal karena di pengaruhi berbagai faktor salah satunya kurang komunikasi antara remaja dengan pondok pesantren. This study seeks to dig deep inside of peoples relationships with the boarding school and the role of religious boarding school in coaching teenagers. The main question to be answered through this research is how the behavior of adolescent religious boarding school ?, what are the roles of boarding school in increasing the religious behavior?, what are the problems of fostering teenagers religiosity? It is a qualitative research. This study was conducted from November 2013 in the Al-Hasan boarding school. Respondents in this study consisted of caregivers, administrators and students as well as the teen around. Data collection techniques used in this research is interview and observation. The results show that religious teens are varied and somewhat lack. The role of the boarding school as a facilitator, mobilization, human resources, an agent of development and agents of excellence are not running optimally. Coaching is in less effect since it was influenced by many factors, one of which is less communication between adolescents with boarding school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam mewujudkan budaya pendidikan budi pekerti di SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga. Masalah yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pembiasaan beragama dan berbudi pekerti siswa SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga tahun 2014/2015. Sesuai dengan pendekatan kualitatif, kehadiran peneliti di lapangan penting sebagai instrumen langsung sebagai pengumpul data dari observasi mendalam dan terlibat secara aktif dalam penelitian. Penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai pengamat untuk data yang telah diperoleh dari hasil wawancara terhadap peran kinerja kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam pembiasaan beragama dan berbudi pekerti di SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga pada tahun 2014/2015. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memeriksa data yang ada, reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan kemudian validitas data dengan menggunakan pengamatan triangulasi. Berdasarkan penelitian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan sekolah sebagai pendidik, manajer, administrator, supervisor, pemimpin, inovator dan motivator. Pembiasaan karakter religius dan budi pekerti adalah untuk mengatur kegiatan, baik yang bersifat rutin, spontan, terprogram, maupun keteladanan. This study discusses the role of Principal leadership in bringing cultures of moral education in SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga. The problems are examined in this study is how the religious and well-mannered habituated to students of SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga in the year of 2014/2015. In accordance with a qualitative approach, the presence of researchers in the field is important to remember to act directly as a researcher and as a direct instrument of collecting data from the depth observation and are actively involved in research. The author uses data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation as an observer to the data which have been obtained from interviews on the role of school leadership performance of religious habituation and virtuous character in SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga in the year of 2014/2015. The data analysis was done by examining existing data, data reduction, data presentation, draw conclusions then entered into the validity of the data using triangulation observations persistence. Based on the research, the researcher concludes that the role of school leadership is as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and motivator. The principal religious and virtuous character habituations are to organize activities both routine, spontaneous, programmatic, and exemplary. Kata kunci: kepemimpinan, pembiasaan, budi pekerti

Abstract

Luqman the Wise, one of man who is mentioned in the Holy Qur`an, is not a prophet neither messenger of God. He is just an ordinary man like us. What differing between us and him is the noble idea of this man regarding the way he educates his children. Luqman educated his children by planting the consciousness of God in the heart of his children. By this awareness, children will raise not only with strong intellectual ability but also beautiful manners, respecting values of humanities and coloring their live with high values of moralities. This article explores Luqman wise words that were recorded in Surah Luqman verses 13 until 19 and evaluates the key success of Luqman’s education system. Compared to modern concept of character education, Luqman method was in accordance with its spirit and goal. Furthermore, the writer found that the core value which is always exists and building all Luqman’s wise words is the consciousness of the existence of God. In Islamic perspective, this transcendental awareness is the basic value for all process of character building in creating good habituation and manner known as akhlaaq al kariimah.
