Focus and Scope Communicatus: Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi is a periodical scientific journal that aims to develop concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms, and methodologies with a focus on communication studies. The scope of this journal study is: Mass Media and Journalism; this field examines journalistic activities and media production which includes print, radio, television, and internet. New media and communication technology; a new field of communication study that continues to develop along with technological advances and community needs, this field includes digital media, virtual, interactive, hypertextual and networking. Public Relations; This field of communication examines Public Relations which include internal and external relations within an organization or institution, as well as the creation of public opinion in society. Political Communication; communication involving messages, media, and political actors or those related to power, government, and policy. Marketing Communication; a field that examines ideas, information, opportunities, and challenges through various symbols to achieve company goals. Sociology of Communication: the process of sociological communication, as a form of social interaction involving individuals or social groups.

Abstract

The media has become an important resource, the media provide information on issues of religion, religious information and experience to be formed in accordance with the demands of media genres that are popular. As the cultural and social environment, the media has taken over many of the functions of cultural and social aspects of the institutionalized religions and provide spiritual guidance, moral orientation, verses ritual and a sense of community and belonging. This paper discusses the relationship between mediatisation and secularization at three levels, namely: people, organizations and individuals. At the community level, mediatisation is an integral part of the secularization. At the level of organizations and individuals, mediatisation may well encourage the practice and beliefs of secular and religious imagination usually invite more subjective nature.

Abstract

Media creates a dependency for its users, it seemed to have become a common sight in media studies at this time. many theories that explain the influence of media on audiences that make audiences are addicted to media such as the theory of hypodermic needles, dependency theory, the theory of cultivation and much more, penguruh media that are considered capable of poisoning the minds of the audience that makes the audience helpless in the face of media exposure , The focus of this article is "Impact of Addiction Social Media in circles Dystopian and Utopian" which will be described in the sub-focus, namely: the impact of social media for the Dystopian, the impact of social media for the utopian, meaning the Dystopian and Utopian put on social media and expression and Dystopian circles and utopian representation in social media.

Abstract

The religious life is experiencing rapid development in conjunction with the revolutionary changes in the media. At the stage of modernization, entered the twentieth century, the development of the media is an industry with a wide range of cultures that make it up. But when the religious interests collide with culture media system, there was friction that easily trigger sensitivity. Harmonization of religion and culture media, which never happened in the centuries to write the media triumph, now it is often disturbed and provoked by the dynamics posed by culture media. In the context of the relationship between religion and culture of this media, one major question that deserves to be answered in this paper is; how to bridge the interests of religion (as something divine, sacred and ceremonial) with the media culture as an industrial capitalist. What implications arise and which will result from this relationship. Will a positive effect on the religious or otherwise.

Abstract

Messages disseminated in the form of mass media news (news) and opinions (views), all of which are general (public), because it is intended for the public and the public interest. Among both have a fairly close relationship, because they view emerging or published in newspapers, usually take a topic or news that was warm diperbincangakan society. Editorial or editorial included into the views or opinions; in addition to corner, caricature, letters or writing on behalf (by line story) that specifically fill the opinion pages or page opinion. So no wonder, if the writings put forward opinions rather than facts. However, the presence of these sections is expected to give a feel of its own and has a typical value and interesting to read. The results showed some conclusions. First, the organization category message, indiktif pattern dominates. Second, the category of message structure, pattern of the pros and cons are more. Third, the category of the call message, shows the message composed by the most emotional motives.
