Abstract

Besides relying on medical equipment and chemical drugs, at this time the care of patients in the hospital began to use a spiritual care approach. This is do as to increase the motivation for healing and a sense of acceptance the disease that is being suffered. The research was conducted with the aim to explain the meaning of rido from several professional spiritual advisors and explain the strategies used by spiritual advisors to build rido attitude to their patients. The approach in this study is qualitative and the method used is descriptive, by analyzing the social, psychological and phenomena that occur in the field. The results of this study are: (1) According to binroh, rido is the attitude of accepting a patient, for an examination in the form of an illness which he suffers with patience and perseverance, always endeavors to take medication and try to get closer to Allah swt. by worshiping and surrendering his healing to Allah swt. Rido is very closely related to ignorance. To reach the level of rido, a servant must believe and be pious. Thus, the patient is guided first to uphold the pillars of faith, then guided to worship. If faith and piety have grown, rido will be achieved in every situation. (2) The binroh strategy of RSUD Al-Ihsan in growing the patients rido attitude is that the binroh gives an example to the patient how to accept with a sincere heart. Furthermore, the binroh guides patients to carry out programs that can later foster a rido attitude. Both the daily, monthly and even annual programs that have been created by binroh. The binroh strategy of RS Muhamadiyah Hospital is to meet face to face, conduct counseling, tell the problem being faced. The binroh also teaches the obligatory worship services, pray and surrender to Allah swt. and providing therapies in the form of relaxation, motivating and telling the story of the prophet for patients who are still children.

Abstract

Students of Achievement Santri Scholarship Program which is then abbreviated as PBSB is a student who gets a scholarship in the form of funding during the education process both in the form of college funding and providing assistance for daily life. According to the researchers' assumptions, PBSB students are more prone to anxiety than other students because they are burdened with demands to graduate on time by the state. This study aims to determine the intensity of the implementation of the students 'prayer, to know the condition of students' peace of mind, and the effect of the implementation of the prayer of the students on the peace of mind of the 2015 PBSB students of Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University, Bandung. The purpose of the holding of this research is expected to be able to add new insights in the development of Sufistic spiritual psychotherapy, as a new reference for the world of psychotherapy regarding the improvement of mental tranquility through duha prayer. Duha prayer is one of the sunnah prayers whose implementation starts when the sun rises until the noon time has arrived. The minimum number of rakaat duha prayers is two rak'ahs and the most they can (Yazid, 2014). While people who are calm souls are people who have regularity and harmony in the functions of their souls, able to solve various problems of living with a person who has confidence, courage in undergoing life's challenges and can adjust to their environment (Zakiah, 1982). The method that I use in this research is a quantitative method with correlative study design. The process of collecting data in this study is by distributing questionnaires (questionnaire) online to the respondents. The data that has been obtained is then processed into numbers through the IBM SPSS Statistics 24 application. After going through the process of analyzing data obtained by the author in the field, it can be revealed that: 1) The intensity of the implementation of the Duha Prayer for 2015 PBSB students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung is 73% of the criteria determined in the study. 2) The peace of mind of PBSB UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung students reached 73% of the categories determined by the author in the study. 3) Duha prayer has a good influence on the peace of mind of the 2015 PBSB students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, reaching 50.2%, while the rest is influenced by other aspects outside the study. This research data shows that; the better the intensity of the implementation of the duha prayer the more calm the student's soul is, and the worse the intensity of the implementation of the duha student prayer the more uneasy the student's soul.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the diversity of ethnic groups in Indonesia; one of them is the Arab-Indonesian tribe. Arab descendant communities have existed and been part of the Indonesian nation since the 13th century. They have assimilated and experienced acculturation in various aspects of life with indigenous Indonesian people. Various studies have shown that although there has been a mixture of various aspects of culture adopted by people of Arab descent; but they still maintain Islamic values including relations with other human beings which are actually the values of their family's ancestors. This study aims to obtain valid and up-to-date data on the extent of the social piety of people of Arab descent in daily life. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study came from populations of people of Arab descent in a number of major cities in Indonesia. The instrument used in this study was a modification questionnaire from COSE compiled by Prof. Dr. Günter Bierbrauer, Ph.D and Individualism and Collectivism Scale compiled by Triandis, H. C. & Gelfland, M. Data obtained are then presented in tabular, graphical form and processed using statistical techniques. The results showed that the community of Arab descent in Indonesia is a society that adheres to the value of collectivism when it comes to close family, power distance between generations is very low, and a polychromatic time value system. They also have high self-confidence, are independent and act in accordance with the demands of social norms.

The writing method used is the qualitative method (qualitative research). As for the process of analyzing data, the authors use descriptive-analytic analysis methods. This research proves that the study of human images in Western psychology and Islamic psychology perspective have similarity. The similarity in the school of humanistic psychology, human images are seen as good beings and have unlimited potential (homo ludens). This view is compatible with the teachings of Islam and the views of Eastern people about humans. But in understanding personality, Western psychology and Islamic psychology have differences. First, in the perspective of Western psychology the study of personality is ethically neutral, that is, it only displays the personality that appears as it is. In the perspective of Islamic psychology, the study of personality is ethically laden, which is to show what personality should be. Second, in the perspective of Western psychology the study of personality only looks at the empirical aspects (environment), without looking at the inner aspects (spiritual) that underlie human personality. In the perspective of Islamic psychology, the study of personality not only looks at the empirical aspects (environment), but also looks at the inner aspects (spiritual) that underlie human personality. Third, in the perspective of Western psychology the study of anthropocentric-oriented personality, which means that the human personality is influenced by human power alone, and negate the interference or will of God Almighty.
