Abstract

The art projects and entrepreneurship learning process at SMA Negeri Arjasa using ICT based media, but the media does not have a positive impact yet, the students’ motivation and achievement still low. Thus required to use interactive Compact Disc (CD) media to improve the X IPS 2 students’ motivation and achievement on the concept of entrepreneurship in operating an entrepreneurship of animals and plants materials preservation basic competency, at SMA Negeri Arjasa on the 1st semester 2014/2015 academic year. This classroom action research used the spiral scheme model which include four phases: plan, act, observation, and reflection. Those phases are a cycle. This research were done in 2 cycles. The location determinate of this research was using purposive method, and the subject determinate is population method. The data collection method was observations, tasks, interviews, and documents. The data analysis technique that used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result shows that the using of interactive compact disc (CD) media can improve the X IPS 2 students’ motivations and achievements. The result indicates that the students’ learning motivation on the cycle I was on the medium category, and the cycle II was on the highest category. The improvement of students’ learning motivation in line with the students’ achievement. There are 11 of 25 students’ score which under the minimum criteria (2,67) on the cycle I.On the cycle II, the individual completeness can be fulfilled because all of students’ score is higher than 2,67. The completeness of the classical learning on the cycle I is 69,44 %, and on the cycle II is 100%.

Abstract

Paguyuban informal an organization formed based on some of the causes together for our common endeavour. PAMIK is one of the traditional organization formed the surrounding community hamlet Rekesan Kabupaten Malang based on a shared interest to the purpose are predetermined in advance. This research aims to understand the role of paguyuban the community fish (PAMIK) in improving the income members in hamlet Rekesan Kecamatan Jambuwer Kabupaten Malang in year 2014. The determination of recipient the research uses a method of purposive area, while the determination of informants the research uses a method of sampling which is purposive infoman basic research is the chairman and the treasurer PAMIK and informants additional is a member of PAMIK. Data collection using methods interview, documentation and observation. An analysis of the data used in this research was the reduction of the data, display data, and the withdrawal of conclusion. The result showed that the PAMIK in increasing income divides into two is in economic and a social. PAMIK role in the economy, to increase member 's income includes raising revenues and providing jobs. As for the role of the social PAMIK are the socialization or training in cultivating fish and builds solidarity between PAMIK by the public.

Abstract

This type of research is a descriptive using quantitative approach is a form of research discription accompanied with figures to see the analysis of the marginal consumer desires RT.03 citizens RW.10 District / Village Kebonsari Kulon of Kanigaran Probolinggo City. Purpose this study is to determine the average value of the MPC, the average value of MPS, the graph of the function of consumption and savings functions. Location research using purposive area, while to determine respondents populasi. The data collection technique used in this research were done from questionnaires, interviews,and documents. The research data analysis methods using the formula of the MPC (marginal propensity to Consume), MPS (marginal propensity to Save), the consumption function and saving function. The results showed an average that average value MPC from years 2009-2013 more than 0.5 this shows that the majority of citizens more extra income allocated to consumption, while the average value of MPS from year 2009 to 2013 is less than 0.5 this large show additional income allocated to savings is much smaller compared to consumption expenditure and savings.Increase seen from the graph the consumption function and the function tabungan. The conclusion that the average value of the MPC of the year 2009-2013 in the Village residents RW.10 RT.0/ Village Kebonsari Kulon District of Probolinggo City Kanigaran much larger when compared to the average value of MPS. This indicates that most of the residents income allocated to consumption when compared with saving.

Abstract

Working age population is the population age 15-64 years old, consisting labor force and non-labor force. The labor force includes people who have jobs, unemployed, and also those who are still searching for jobs, while non-labor force includes those who focus on attending scholl and taking care of the household matter. The more people who work will lead to a larger number of labor force, which then will result in a high rate of labor force participation. This happens to the poor people in Tegal Gede RW.06 RT.01 Sumbersari Jember. Purposive area method was employed to the termine the research location. While population method was used to define the respondents of 83 members of labor force. Interviews, questionnaires and documentation were employed to collect the data. Data analysis used in this study is a descriptive analysis. The results show that the working age population of 123 people, consisting of 83 persons of labor force and 40 persons of non-labor force. The large number of labor force available has resulted in a high labor force participation rate of the poor people in RW.06 RT.01 Tegal Gede Sumbersari Jember at 68%, which on the other hand they still have low income. The high level labor force participation in the village shows that people working age prefer to work from school and take care of household although the level of wages that they receive low.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to empower the low economic society of Harjomulyo Village especially the housewife who be a coffee’s farmer and have a limitedness to get a job because of the low education. The researcher collaborate with the one of student from Agriculture Technique Faculty in optimalize the waste of robusta coffee’s bark as the one of nature resourches. The researcher empower by training  the housewife to utilize the waste of robusta coffee’s bark to be a briquet. The implementation of empowerment by training not only improve the knowledge and skill that can be a productive activity when the harvest finish, but also the briquet can be an alternative energy subtitute gas and kerosene. Based on the result of the research, briquet not more eficien in using than gas and kerosene. But, because of the simple procedure and the cheap cost, it give the opportunity to the society to increase the income by selling a briquet. This research use the Action Research approach. The data collection methods that use in this research are document method, observation, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The Data analysis using the Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) method. The purpose of this method is to produce the monitoring about poverty condition at Harjomulyo Village and then make it become reference in producing the planning decision of the tackling poverty and the implementation program.

Abstract

The research is descriptive qualitative aims to describe survival strategy of small farmers in the village sindetlami besuk sub-district probolinggo district. The determination of the place research using methods purposive the area. A subject of study in this experiment using a snowball that small farmers in rural district sindetlami visit in probolinggo. Data collection in this study using a method of in-depth interviews , observation or observation , and documents .Analysis of data used namely the reduction of data, presentation of ( display ) data , verification or conclusion .Based on the results of research , that small farmers in the village sindetlami classified as poor because of income received from the farm is not enough to meet all their family needs .Poverty makes small farmers applying survival strategy to stay could live. There are 3 strategies which is small farmers to remain active, is a living, the passive and the strategy.A small farmers are actively conducted by seeking side occupation, family members to work and optimize resources we have.The strategy is that small farmers do that by applying a frugal lifestyle. Strategy tissue done small farmers are requesting assistance to social networking they have, both the formal and informal network as neighbors, to borrow money or fiduciary to the bank.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the marketing strategy of home industry of Batik Sumbersari at Maesan Bondowoso. The determining location method was purposive area, whereas the subject is the owner of Batik Sumbersari Maesan Bondowoso, and the data collection method was interviews, observation, and documents. Then the obtained data tested its validity through triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, Batik Sumbersari Maesan Bondowoso able to expand its business using the application of STP strategy (segmentation, targeting, positioning) rightly, and the creativity and professionalism make its products exclusive, elegant and luxury with its market segment is a burgeoning middle class constituted by social high class. Obviously, the consumers is an adults who have incomes more than enough. The target has been achieved not only within the domestic area but also at the foreign countries. Batik Sumbersari perform positioning by placing themselves as superior batik at the consumers’ mind by always maintain the quality of its batik tulis products which supported by a great concept  “one product one design one color” that makes Batik Sumbersari Maesan Bondowoso growing abroad.

Abstract

Saving motivation is a self-boosting to undertake an activity to spare fund which is useful in the future. This research aimed to analyze housewives’ saving motivation and to analyze the allocation of the use of houseife’s savings in administrative village of Kebonsari, District of Sumbersari, Jember Regency.The research location was determined using purposive method, that is, administrative village of Kebonsari, District of Sumbersari, Jember Regency. Data were collected by document search, interviews and observation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation and then conclusion drawing. Based on data on the field, it was found that housewives’ saving motivations in administrative village of Kebonsari were setting goals of saving, determining the allocation of saving time, saving budget by a certain time and being persistent. Saving motivations which were rarely set by housewives were making expenditure records and reconsidering of money saving. Furthermore, the saving motivations that were never set by housewives were cutting spendings, considering priority, and terminating the use of creditn cards. The savings allocations made by housewives were for tuition, disaster anticipation, unemployment or retirement anticipation, the cost of repairing or buying household appliances and funds for celebration of important religious holidays and weddings. Abstract

This research was used to describe the behavior of creative and innovative craftsman of leather shoes in Dusun Genengan Kabupaten Mojokerto to compete and follow the development of the needs of market . Purposive method was used in this research to decide the subject of this research. The research area was chosen by purposive area that was Dusun Genengan Desa Banjaragung Kecamatan Dlanggu Kabupaten Mojokerto. The data collection methods of this research were interview, observation and document. The data analysis was descriptive qualitative: reducing data, presenting data and concluding data. have behavior creative and innovative in the manufacture of desaign, combination of color, and brand of leather shoes. This is shown with creative craftsman of leather shoes in Dusun Genengan Desa Banjaragung Kecamatan Puri Kabupaten Mojokerto made sample of shoes using desaign and combination of new color. Behavior innovative craftsman of leather shoes in Dusun Genengan Desa Banjaragung Kecamatan Puri Kabupaten Mojokerto made leather shoes using desaign and combination of color, and brand new and different. Reason craftsman of leather shoes in Dusun Genengan Desa Banjaragung Kecamatan Puri Kabupaten Mojokerto have behavior creative and innovative the first, make a desaign of shoes that follow the development of the needs of consumers. Second, the combination of color favored and in accordance with the needs of consumers. Third, accentuating the indentity of their leather shoes industry by the presence of leather shoes band new and defferent.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is an overall plan to achieve the goals set. This research aimed to describe the marketing strategy undertaken by bamboo craftsmen in Gintangan Village. The research used qualitative approach with descriptive research design. The research location was determined by using purposive method conducted in woven bamboo home industry of Gintangan Village, District of Rogojampi, Banyuwangi Regency. The research was conducted in four stages: observation, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the research results, it was found that the woven bamboo home industry in Gintangan Village is one of the businesses engaged in the field of woven bamboo handicrafts by applying several marketing strategies in the business activities. The marketing strategies used by home industry included: product development strategy, pricing, marketing place, and promotion.
