Abstract

Kriging method is one method of data interpolation involving location information (spatial data). The existence of outliers in the spatial data causes the kriging method to be incorrect. To overcome this is required kriging method that is able to handle outliers on spatial data called robust kriging. In general, the weight of the kriging method is determined by the semivariogram that measures spatial correlation. A semivariogram in robust kriging is called a robust semivariogram. There are several robust semivariogram, three of which are robust spherical, exponential, and gaussian semivariogram. The purpose of this research are to detect the location of rainfall precipitation stations including outliers, to determine the most appropriate robust semivariogram among the three semivariograms in robust kriging and to interpolate the rainfall data in March 2015 at Malang Regency. The data used in this research is spatial data of rainfall in March 2015 at 31 rain stations in Malang Regency containing outlier data. Result of research indicate that there are three location of rain station that detected outlier that is Ngantang rain station, Wagir and Bantur (Z value> 1,96). The most suitable robust semivariogram is the exponential robust semivariogram seen from the smallest RMSE value compared to the other robust semivariogram of 24.2752. The robust kriging interpolation result with the exponential semivariogram shows that the highest rainfall occurs in Ngantang and Kedungkandang rain stations.

Abstract

Multiple linear regression analysis is often used to determine the relationship between one dependent variable with two or more independent variables. Both the dependent variable and the independent variable are numerical. If the classical assumptions on multiple linear regression models are met then the parameter estimator will be Best Linear Unbiased Estimation (BLUE). These assumptions are the normality of error, non autocorrelation, non-multicolinearity and homoskedasticity. In real data is often encountered violation of assumptions, one of which assumption non autokorelasi not fulfilled. In this research discussed about the handling of autocorrelation on multiple linear regression model using Cochrane-Orcutt Iterative Procedure and software R. Data used is data of Regency/City in East Java 2015 sourced Statistics Indonesia.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, technology has a very important role in almost every aspect of life, both in daily and in the world of education, including in the field of mathematics education. This paper will cover the three main roles of technology in mathematics learning, especially in the context of mathematics learning using realistic mathematical approach. The realistic mathematical approach-known as Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) originating from the Netherlands-is a learning theory specifically developed for mathematics learning. The three roles of the technology include the role of a tool for mathematics, a tool for training in math skills, and tools to help develop an understanding of mathematical concepts. The three roles are outlined and have concrete examples on algebra, calculus, and geometry topics for junior and senior high school levels using relatively easy-to-reach technologies, such as Microsoft Excel and GeoGebra software. This description is expected to be an inspiration for researchers, teachers, or prospective teachers of mathematics in research and in the process of learning mathematics.

Abstract

The method used in this research is quantitative method with research type of quasi experiment.The research design used was pretest-posttest only, non-equivalent control group design. The sampling of the research using random sampling technique. Data analysis using sample t test-not correlated .. purpose of this research to know the influence of learning model of Missouri Mathematics Project to improve problem solving ability of mathematical learners. The results obtained  Thitung ≥ Ttable = 2.013 ≥ 1.976, indicating the average problem solving ability of mathematical learners that applied the learning model of Missouri Mathematics Project better and increase. So it can be concluded that the learning model of the Missouri Mathematics Project is more influential on the problem solving ability of mathematical learners.

Abstract

The research aims to know what the creative thinking mathematically significant effect against the ability of solving math problems. Methode in this research is a quantitative approach wiht the correlation. Paradigms of research used in the form of paradigma single, 2 (two) variables, the location of Selected by Probability Random Sampling which had previously been done pengan test validity and reliability of the instrument. The main of instrumen essay from the data is collected, then analyzed with testing statistics and continued with the hypothesis testing with simple linear regression test. With the requirements of analysis in the form of normality test and linearity test, Based on a simple linear regression test of mathematical creative thinking to the ability of solving mathematical problems of research results showed that.The F value in the Deviation of Linearity column is 3.850 and the significance is 0.05 (5%), the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0, 076, Thus, the Sig. (2-tailed value is less than the significance value of the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0, 076 so it can be concluded that the relationship of creative thinking with the ability to solve mathematical problems is linear.

Abstract

The purpose of education according to Law No. 20 of 2003 on National Education System is for learners to actively develop their potential so as to have spiritual strength , intelligence and noble character . One of the tools that are necessary to achieve these objectives is the teaching materials . Educators can formulate a teaching materials that meet the eligibility standards of teaching materials and integrated Islamic values , so that students are not only able to understand the concept of the material properly , but the instructional materials capable of being a bridge in the formation of spiritual strength and noble character of learners . The integration of Islamic values is very appropriate for the material math, because math is one of the subjects that always exist in schools , from primary school to secondary school level. Based on interviews with one of the teachers of mathematics in MTsN Padang Ratu , until now there is no mathematical teaching materials integrated Islamic values , so that teachers in schools have not been able to optimally integrate mathematical material with Islamic values . Moreover , not a few participants of students that scored high cognitive moral is not good yet . Therefore , this study was conducted with the aim to develop integrated math teaching materials on Islamic values of class VII MTs level in the material lines and angles . Research by the author is a development research with qualitative data analysis . This research was conducted with several stages : first , the analysis of the product to be developed, both to develop the initial product that teaching materials math class VII in the material lines and angles by integrating Islamic values , the third expert validation that is testing the feasibility of teaching materials consisting of mathematicians , religious scholars and teachers of mathematics , fourth , the revision is to improve teaching materials that do not meet eligibility standards , in accordance with the ideas and suggestions of experts. Based on these stages then the resulting mathematical teaching materials integrated Islamic values tsanawiyah rate of madrasah classes VII to the material lines and angles .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of understanding the concept of learners in the fractional addition of learning by using fraction circle model. The hypothesis proposed is the fraction circle model can improve understanding of the concept of students of class V SD Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung. This research is Quasi Eksperimen research. The sample used is 2 classes selected by class random technique, that is class V C as experiment class and class V B as control class. Data collection techniques used are the ability to understand conceptual test. The normality test used is the liliefors test to determine whether the samples taken are normal distributed or not and the homogeneity test used in this study is a two-variance similarity test by comparing the largest variance with the smallest variance. Analytical technique used in this research is gain test to see improvement of concept comprehension ability and t-test to see the effect of fraction circle model implementation. The conclusion in this research is fraction circle model can increase understanding of learners concept in fractional learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning materials a pocket book with motif of archipelago batik. The method of this research is carried out using the methods of research and development model of Borg and Gall that have been modified by Sugiyono include 7 stages, namely:1) The Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Design of the Produk, 4) Validation of the Design, 5) Design Revision, 6) Trial of  the Product, 7) Revision of the Product. The result of this research showed that the feasibility value by the material expert got an average score of 3,43 with valid criteria and feasibility value by media expert with an average score of  3,40 with valid criteria. The response of the learners was very interesting with an average score 3,53 to trial the small group and the achievement of an average score of  3,41 to trial the large group. This showed that the poscet book of transformation geometry with motif of archipelago batik generated in this research is considered feasible for use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine to which stage deaf students master a variety of skills in critical thinking process. This research subject is deaf students SLB XII class Pringsewu totaling 3 students. This research was descriptive. The data collection was conducted using tests and interviews. The test method used to obtain data regarding the students critical thinking skills. The test results will then be seen consistence with the results of interviews. Valid data is coming consistent between test data with data from interviews. Based on the results of the study concluded that 66.67% of deaf students of class XII SLB Pringsewu have the critical thinking skills that is 5 Elementary Clarification (give a simple explanation), Basic Support (building basic skills), Inference (concluded), Advanced Clarification (make a further explanation), Strategic and Tactics (strategy and tactics).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the cubes and star problem solving strategy to improve the reflection ability of mathematical learners. This research uses pre-experimental research method that is quasi experiment (quasi experiment). With the results of the study that the ability that must be owned by learners and need to be the focus of attention with every learning mathematics, because if the ability to think reflective mathematical low students in solving problems and mathematical concepts then learners can not solve the problem well. This research method using Pre Experiment, the overall data obtained through interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. The conclusion of this research is descriptive research which aims to describe the management of learning by teacher, learners activities, learners learning outcomes, and learners responses to learning using cubes and star solving strategies.
