Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of understanding the concept of learners in the fractional addition of learning by using fraction circle model. The hypothesis proposed is the fraction circle model can improve understanding of the concept of students of class V SD Muhammadiyah 3 Bandar Lampung. This research is Quasi Eksperimen research. The sample used is 2 classes selected by class random technique, that is class V C as experiment class and class V B as control class. Data collection techniques used are the ability to understand conceptual test. The normality test used is the liliefors test to determine whether the samples taken are normal distributed or not and the homogeneity test used in this study is a two-variance similarity test by comparing the largest variance with the smallest variance. Analytical technique used in this research is gain test to see improvement of concept comprehension ability and t-test to see the effect of fraction circle model implementation. The conclusion in this research is fraction circle model can increase understanding of learners concept in fractional learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning materials a pocket book with motif of archipelago batik. The method of this research is carried out using the methods of research and development model of Borg and Gall that have been modified by Sugiyono include 7 stages, namely:1) The Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Design of the Produk, 4) Validation of the Design, 5) Design Revision, 6) Trial of  the Product, 7) Revision of the Product. The result of this research showed that the feasibility value by the material expert got an average score of 3,43 with valid criteria and feasibility value by media expert with an average score of  3,40 with valid criteria. The response of the learners was very interesting with an average score 3,53 to trial the small group and the achievement of an average score of  3,41 to trial the large group. This showed that the poscet book of transformation geometry with motif of archipelago batik generated in this research is considered feasible for use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine to which stage deaf students master a variety of skills in critical thinking process. This research subject is deaf students SLB XII class Pringsewu totaling 3 students. This research was descriptive. The data collection was conducted using tests and interviews. The test method used to obtain data regarding the students critical thinking skills. The test results will then be seen consistence with the results of interviews. Valid data is coming consistent between test data with data from interviews. Based on the results of the study concluded that 66.67% of deaf students of class XII SLB Pringsewu have the critical thinking skills that is 5 Elementary Clarification (give a simple explanation), Basic Support (building basic skills), Inference (concluded), Advanced Clarification (make a further explanation), Strategic and Tactics (strategy and tactics).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the cubes and star problem solving strategy to improve the reflection ability of mathematical learners. This research uses pre-experimental research method that is quasi experiment (quasi experiment). With the results of the study that the ability that must be owned by learners and need to be the focus of attention with every learning mathematics, because if the ability to think reflective mathematical low students in solving problems and mathematical concepts then learners can not solve the problem well. This research method using Pre Experiment, the overall data obtained through interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. The conclusion of this research is descriptive research which aims to describe the management of learning by teacher, learners activities, learners learning outcomes, and learners responses to learning using cubes and star solving strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a POE (predict observe explain) based mathematical module on the subject matter of a straight-line equation. It is also to see the response of educators and learners to POE (Predict Observe Explain) based mathematics module on the basic material of straight line equation. This research uses Research & Development. The design validation stage involves 9 subjects namely three material experts, three media experts and three linguists to assess the material feasibility, the design of math modules and the feasibility of Indonesian language is good and correct. The pilot phase is done through 2 stages small group trial and field trials. Based on the validation results of the expert material obtained an average score of 3.34 with valid criteria, for the media expert to obtain an average score of 3.52 with valid criteria while for the linguist get an average score of 3.33 with valid criteria. In the test phase of response 2 educators got an average score of 3.37 with very interesting criteria. As for the response of learners on small group trial obtained an average score of 3.05 with interesting criteria and on field trials obtained an average score of 3.33 with very interesting criteria so that the math module is feasible to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

The method used in this research is quantitative method with research type of quasi-experiment.  The research design used was pretest-posttest only, non-equivalent kontrol group design. The sampling of the research uses random sampling technique. The data analysis uses sample not-correlated t-test. This research aims to know the effect of e-learning model by using Edmodo educational application to improve the ability of mathematical concepts understanding of the learners. Analysis of data using sample t-test did not correlate. The results obtained Tarithmetic ≥ Ttable = 2.306 ≥ 1.998 , the results showed that the average ability of understanding the mathematical concepts of learners that applied e-learning learning model using Edmodo better and improved. Then it can be concluded that the e-learning using Edmodo has an effect on the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of the learners.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the effect of the use of libraries on the results of students mathematics learning, 2) the effect of learning motivation on the results of students mathematics learning, and 3) the effect of the use of libraries and motivation to learn together -Same to the results of students mathematics learning. This research is a quantitative research by analyzing a simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The population in this study were students of class X Mathematics Sciences Academic Year 2016/2017. Samples taken as many as 30 students with technique. simple random sampling to obtain research data used two instruments are closed questionnaire documentation. Analysis data on simple linear regression test showed that the use of the library affects the outcome of students mathematics learning and learning motivation also affect the results of students mathematics learning. In the multiple linear regression showed that the there is influence between the use of library and learning motivation on the results of students mathematics learning.

Abstract

Modul elektronik (e-modul) adalah salah satu inovasi yang bisa digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika di era digital saat ini.Metode penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan metode Pra Eksperimen yang akan menghasilkan pengembangan e-modul denganpendekatanContextual Teaching Learning. Pendekatan Contextual Teaching Learning merupakan konsep belajar yang mengaitkan antara materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi dunia nyata yang bertujuan agar siswa lebih memahami materi yang sedang dipelajarinya. Analisis data menggunakananalisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data keseluruhan diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara kepada guru. Hasildatatersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengembangane-modulberpendekatan Contextual Teaching Learning mulai diperlukan di era sekarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui solusi dari hasil yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian,dan menghasilkan suatu produk e-modul untuk siswa kelas tujuh di madrasah tsanawiyah di bandar lampung.Kata kunci :E-modul; Contextual Teaching Learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best mathematical model in describing customer satisfaction. Methods in this research use a causal quantitative. Data collection methods in this study using a questionnaire with 50 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are classical assumption test and hypothesis test. The results obtained by the best mathematical model with the forward method of customer satisfaction Mega Jaya Motor workshop is . This means that the satisfaction of Mega Jaya Motor workshop is influenced by the service variables available in the workshop.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian berhubungan dengan rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa serta penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang memberikan kesempatan pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII Semester Genap SMP Negeri 1 Sendangagung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sendangagung yang terdiri dari 5 kelas dengan jumlah 124 siswa, sedangkan sampel diambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII-4 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa penulis melakukan tes dalam bentuk essay sebanyak 5 soal yang terlebih dahulu telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengujian hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruh RME menggunakan uji t. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t= 8,11 dengan taraf signifikan 5 %  diketahui t = = 2,01 artinya  t> t yaitu 8,11 > 2,01, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa “ada pengaruh model pembelajaran RME terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Sendangagung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018”. Keadaan ini juga terlihat dari nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dimana kelas eksperimen mempunyai nilai rata-rata 82,40 dan kelas kontrol mempunyai nilai rata-rata 50,70.Â
