Abstract

ABSTRACT Analysis of Rice Supplies in Public Corporation BULOG Regional Division of Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) Rice is the basic requirements that must be met for humans at all times. BULOG as State Owned Enterprises have a primary duty, which is to undertake logistic staple food quality and maintain food stability. The purpose of this study are to (1) determine rice procurement in BULOG NTT, (2) analyze the inventory system of rice by BULOG NTT focused on the economic order quantity (EOQ), minimum stock, maximum stock, and reorder point, (3) the efficiency cost of rice supplies by BULOG NTT which focused on the actual inventory cost effective inventory costs. The method of analysis used in this experiment is a quantitative and qualitative analysis. The study was conducted at BULOG NTT, which is located on Jl. Palapa No 14 Oebobo, Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Rice purchasing by BULOG NTT started by making a procurement contract with the contractor. The study found that the economical rice booking is 816,65 ton for once, while the amount of safety stock that must be held by BULOG NTT is 35.731,71 ton and maximum inventory that can be managed is 42.813,65 ton. The total cost incurred by rice supplies by BULOG NTT in 2011 was Rp 664.785.013,15 while the analysis of the optimal inventory control cost of Rp 661.160.200,24. So there is the cost efficiency of Rp 3.624.813,01.   Keyword: economic order quantity, BULOG, rice procurement

Abstract

Increased sales of Dewi Sri (a brand of Balinese Rice Wine Product) at PT Hatten Bali based on Segmenting Targeting and Positioning Strategies in Bali The era of globalization results in increased business competition thus causing fluctuations in sales of products of Balinese rice wine of Dewi Sri that already experienced by PT Hatten Bali. The strategies that should be reinforced in the face of intense competition, the company should apply the strategies of segmenting, targeting and positioning. The study aimed to identify and categorize groups of buyers based on their characteristics, to select one segment of the potential market to enter, and to establish and to communicate the main benefits that differentiate the company's products with other products in the market. The research applies quantitative descriptive method by approaches of cluster analysis, crosstab, Multi Dimensional Scaling, and Correspondence Analysis which used primary data of 135 respondents. The research showed that the potential segment as target market of Balinese rice wine products of Dewi Sri which will be produced by PT Hatten Bali was the segment 1 by the segment percentage size of 63,0% compared to segment 2 (14,8%) and segment 3 (22,2%). Balinese rice wine product positioning has the advantage on product diversification and promotion attributes that differentiate it from its competitors (Eagle, Gwan Gwan Hoo, and Rice Bird) based on consumer perceptions. Therefore, PT Hatten Bali needs to create a unique product feature that is expected to increase sales of Balinese rice wine products of Dewi Sri.

Abstract

AbstractDistribution the Effectiveness of Raskin in TabananThe study was aimed to determine mechanisms to distribution Raskin, problems to distribution Raskin, and effekiviness to distribution Raskin by used descrptive method and indicators of six appropriated (right on target, right on price, right on time, right on quality, and right on administration). Samples were 73 houshold that receive most benefit of Raskin in Belimbing Village representative of the Baturiti Districts and Nyitdah Village representative of the Kediri that is beneficiaries Raskin most numerous in Tabanan. The results of the field study showed that the process implementation of Raskin program has been running well within the guidelines already assigned distribution  Raskin, to the right target indicators total percentage of  70.4% so it can be  categorized effective. for right indicator the amount total percentage of 80.5% that can be categorized effective. For right indicator the price total percentage of 93.2% that can be very categorized effective. For timely indicator of the total percentage of 78.6% that can be categorized effective. For precise indicator the quality total percentage of 83.6% that can be categorized very effective. For precise indicator the administration total percentage of 86.6% so it can be said to be very effective. process distribution Raskin to the RTS-PM seen from the  indicator sixth already according to the objectives of the government.  but not close the possibility of a slight problem in terms of target, quantity, price, time, quality and administration.

Abstract

Regional economic growth is essentially a series of businesses and policies aimed atimproving economic relations from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiarysectors. Economic development is a policy focused on improving people's livingstandards, expanding employment, declaring revenue sharing and improving regionalrelationships among regions. The balance of development in North Badung and SouthBadung is often a discourse. The synergy of the tourism and agriculture sectors is theanswer to making this happen. This study aimed to identify superior and non-superiorcommodities as well as formulate a strategy of developing superior commodities inPetang District. The data used were secondary data in the form of time series data oragricultural production data of Badung Regency and Petang District in 2011-2015. Thedata were collected by document study and in-depth interviews, analyzed by LocationQuotient (LQ) and SWOT analysis method. The result of the analysis shows that foodcommodities belonging to the main commodities are corn, peanut, sweet potato, cassavaand asparagus while the rice commodity is included in non-commodity commodity.Plantation commodities included in the main commodities are coffee, cloves andvanilla, while coconut and cocoa are included in non-commodity commodities. Strategicdevelopment of superior commodities that need to be taken is to explore the potential ofnatural resources and improve the quality of human resources for the development ofsuperior commodities in Petang District.

Abstract

Utilizationof Owl Innovation (Tyto alba) as Rat Pests Controller (Rattus argentiventer) by Subak Members in Senganan Village, Penebel Sub-District, Tabanan Regency Rat pest control must be carried out in an integrated and sustainable way. One ofthesolution is to use owls because it does not create pollution and damage to rice plant.Pets controlusing an owl is determined by the knowledge and behavior of subakmembers. The purposes of this study is to determine the adoption process and therelated factors in the use of owl as rat pets control of rets. The research locations waslocated in Senganan Village, Penebel Sub-District, Tabanan Regency using 35respondents. The method used study is qualitative descriptive analysis andordinalmeasurement score. The result showed that level of knowing of respondents was in thehigh category with a score of 422. Pespondents’ persceptions were categorized as goodwith a score of 401. Pespondents’ behavior was categorized as very supportive with ascore achievment of 451.Respondents’ attitudesupporting innovation was 91,43%, whilethosewho were doubtful was 8,57%. The process of adopting subak members hasarrived at the confirmation stage. In the confirmation stage, subak members support thesustainability of innovations applied in subak.Factors relatedto the use of innovationaresuperiority of innovation in the economy and social aspects of subak members, thesuitability of innovation with the environment and the needs of subak members, and theease of technical innovation. Although the number of rets in Senganan Village hasdecreased, subak members still need to preserve the existence of owl, especially inquarantine areas.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Performance PT Wotraco Bali Raya (In terms of Balanced Scorecard) Balanced scorecard is a management system for companies to invest in the long termin order to achieve certain financial results that enable the development of a business organization rather than simply managing the bottom line to boost short-termresults. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of PT Wotraco Bali Raya viewed from four perspectives of balanced scorecard namely financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, and learning and growth perspective of the year 2009 till 2011.The research was conducted in PT Wotraco Bali Raya which is housed in the 116 Tukad Pakerisan Denpasar. Types of data collected in clude quantitative and qualitative data. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and study documentation. The results showed the performance of PT Wotraco Bali Raya from 2009 till 2011 from a financial perspective gained an average of 169.87% current ratio, debt to total assets ratio of 203.14%, and the net profit margin of 22.12%. From the perspective of the customer, the customer growth rate obtained for 2.43%, and the rate of repeat customers and customer satisfaction is not still providea positive perception or satisfied. From the perspective of internal business process efficiency product order transaction completion time obtained an average of 1.29 MCE. From the perspective of learning and growth, the level of productivity of employeesearned an averageof Rp. 1,088,821.18, the retention rate of employeesearnan average of 3.33%, and the level of employee satisfaction providesa positive perception or satisfied. Based on this research,the authors suggestion is the need for companies rais edfunds, to maintain quality of service to customers, and maintaining the reservation service. Abstract

Analysis of Customer Satisfaction on Franchise Products of Cap Poci Teain the Sub-District of Southern Denpasar of Denpasar CityCompetition is common and cannot be avoided, not least in the franchise tea of cappoci. Employers of franchise tea of cap poci must continue to innovate or to improvethe shortcomings so that consumers do not run into other products. Consumerbehavior may help explain how consumers obtain satisfaction. This study aimed todetermine the level of customer satisfaction on the franchise tea of cap poci and whatactions should be conducted based on matrix of Importance-Performance. Thelocation of research was in South Denpasar Sub-District as having the greatestpotential consumers. The total sample of 30 respondents and sampling wasconducted by accidental sampling. The data collection includes quantitative data andqualitative data derived from primary and secondary data. Data collection methodsused were interviews and literature studies. Methods of data analysis usingdescriptive analysis, Importance-Performance Analysis and Custumer satisficationIndex. Based on the research results, the value or rate of CSI calculation was69.34%. The CSI Value of the franchise iced tea products of tea cap poci meets thecriteria of satisfied. But still need increased performance. Based on the Importance-Performance Matrix, the product attributes that need to be improved are: hygiene,price, and taste attributes.

Abstract

Abstract The Behavior of the Wanasari Fisherman’s Group Members  in Preserving the Mangrove Forest in the Village of Tuban, Kuta Sub-District, Badung Regency Damage of mangrove forest caused by human habitual who not understand about the importance of mangroves existance,because the goverments do not give socialiszation and also they did not involve them self in planning, implementation and controling process. The purpose of this study is to determine the behavior of members of the Group of Fisherman of Wanasari seen from the aspects of knowledges, attitudes, and skills in preserving mangrove forests and the constraints faced by members of the Fisherman Group of Wanasari in preserving mangrove forests. Data analysis was conducted by using descriptive qualitative analysis method. Based on the research results, it was found that the behavior of members of the Wanasari Fisherman Group in preserving mangrove forests was categorized as good, with the score of 79.40%. This is supported by the high respondents knowledge, with the score of 82.30%, the attitude of the respondents belong to agree, with the score of 76.30% and the skills of respondents was classified as good, with the score of 79.60%. In process improving attitude in knowledges, attitude and skill aspecs, It suggested to Fisherman Group Members of Wanasari in order tohow to know mangroves cultivates such as breeding, planting, maintenance and utilization of mangroves that way it will be continue. Abstract

Management of Product Controlling in PT. Rolas Nusantara Mandiri KalibaruDistrict Banyuwangi Regency. Quality controlling is an effective and efficient integrated set of activities which areintended to develop, maintain, and improve the quality of several products and servicesto make consumers satisfied. This current study is aimed at identifying the consumeropinion about the quality of product, the management system of quality controlling, andthe costs needed for it. The study was conducted at AMdK 220 ML Merk AirRolas. Thedata were analyzed using the control map, cost analysis and descriptive qualitative. Thedata used in the study were the data on the perception of consumers and the number theproducts produced, the number of damaged products, and the costs needed to supportthe controlling process from Janary to December 2016. The result of the study showedthat the quality of the products were controlled as the proportional value of the damagewas between the upper limit and lower limit, showing that the controlling limit valuewas (p) = 1.3%, the upper controlling limit was (UCL) 2.6%, the lower controlling limit(LCL) was 0%. The costs needed to control the controlling process (QCC) totaled Rp 618, 769,021.19, the costs needed to guarantee the quality was Rp. 5,566,250.00,and the quality costs (TQS) amounted toRp. 674,431,521.9, meaning that the companycould compress products by 111,325 glass or 29.9% of the total production. The valueof optimum damage (q*) was 371,172.4. 43,33% of the respondents showed highly positive perception, 50% showed positive perception, and 6,67% showed neutralperception.
