Abstract

This research was conducted based on the phenomenon that happens to grade VIII SMPIT Bina Amal Semarang which has the social conformity low. The purpose of this research is to proof  the influence of counseling service groups towards the conformity. The type of this research is experimental research. The research was conducted with seven times the grant of preferential treatment on grade VIII SMPIT Bina Amal Semarang, research subject with 8 students. The data collection method used is the psychology scale. Data analysis techniques using deskriptif analysis of percentage and wilcoxon test. The results showed incoming students conformity category is middle (59,75%). After being given the treatment through the counseling of the group, a significant unchanged in conformity of students. Conformity of the students in a middle category (60,37%). It shows that conformity of student can’t be influenced through the counseling service groups. Conformity of students not depend on one cause but the another thing to establish it as cohesion,the pretension to change, and the environmental support.

Abstract

This research was based on preliminary datas of the interview against the teacher of Junior High School Tegal which shows that the implementation of the individualcounseling services has not to be implemented optimallyyet. The purpose of this research is to predict whether or not there are: (1) influence of internal factors against implementation of individual counseling service, (2)influence of external factors against implementation of individual counseling service, (3) the influence of internal and external factors against implementation of individual counseling services. The population of this research is the entire guidance and counseling teacher of SMP/MTs in Tegal. The methode of data collection using the technique of test and non-test. Data analysis technique using simple linier regression analysis and multiple regression. The result of the analysis indicate a significant and positive influence, there is strong internal factors against implementation of counseling services, external factors against implementation of counseling services, and internal and external factors together against the implementation of individual counselling service

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the phenomenon that occurs in Class IX J SMPN 3 Ungaran less have good interpersonal communication skills. The purpose of this research is to improve interpersonal communication skills through group guidance with symbolic modeling techniques. Population in this research is class student of SMPN 3 Ungaran IXJ totaling 32 students with a sample of 10 students were taken using purposive sampling. Data collection method used is the psychological scale interpersonal communication and observation. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test match pairs. The results showed prior to obtaining the guidance of the group with symbolic modeling techniques interpersonal communication skills of students included in the criteria was, and after obtaining the guidance of the group with the criteria of symbolic modeling techniques student interpersonal communication becomes high. It shows that the group guidance with symbolic modeling techniques can improve students interpersonal communication.

Abstract

Practical experience is an important component of counselor education program. Through the experience student counseling practice, counselor candidate  given the experience to apply the skills and knowledge they acquired in the lecture. Peer Counseling in this research defined as the involvement of youth in peer groups to provide particular input for the development of personality and social of adolescents. Thus, peer counseling can be utilized in the process of lectures, so counselors candidate can be optimized to obtain practical experience supervised by a professional counselor. This research aims to develop a peer counseling model as an experience counseling practice media in basic skills counseling subject. The design used is research and development. Subjects were students of BK FIP UNNES. Data collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires and  document studies. Data analysis technique used is  interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Results of the research is a model of peer counseling as an experience counseling practice media in basic skills of counseling subject include: (a) rational, (b) Definition, (c) Interest, (d) assuming, (e) materials, (f) the stages of peer counseling implementation, (g) the evaluation and succes indicators, and function of group members, (h) the phase of the service, (i) the evaluation and follow-up. Based on  results expert validation obtained that the model is feasible and can be applied.

Abstract

This research applied based on the phenomenon in SMPN 25 Semarang which indicates several students who have low self-esteem, through the results of the DCM’s analysis distributed to the students of 9th grade. This research used to show the students’ self-esteem before and after having individual counseling model of person-centered Therapy and whether the model of person-centered Therapy counseling can overcome the problem of low self-esteem students. This research design is experimental research which using one group pretest-posttest design. The participants of this study were six students. The writer use Wilcoxon test as Hypothesis testing by comparing the level of the smallest of the pre and posttest. Obtained results Zcount 2,206 > Z table = 1.645, which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected. The research findings showed that (1) the pretest of the experiment of sixth counselees was 48.45% (2) In another hand the posttest result of the experiment sixth counselees was 75.65% (3) The problem of low self-esteem students can be solved through counseling models centered person theraphy. The result of the study shows that there is positive result and significant improvement of students’ self-esteem when teacher using Person Centered Therapy to solve low self-esteem problem.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the phenomenon in SMA 3 Magelang which indicate that there are students who have a low assertive behavior. The research was conducted on July 28 to September 2, 2015. This study aims to determine students assertive behavior before and after the service, and to know the influence of the control service content sociodramas techniques in improving assertive behavior class XI MIA 1. The type of research is experimental research. Methods of data collection using the instrument scale psychological scale assertive capability. Methods of data analysis using descriptive percentages and t-test. The results showed that the percentage of early before getting services at 55.99% and after getting treatment showed a percentage of 83.54% is thus increased by 27.55%. Results of t-test showed that the values ​​obtained tcalculated = 17.00> ttable = 2.00 at the 5% significance level, the calculation of the t-test showed that tcalculated> t ttable, so that Ho refused and Ha accepted. Based on the results of this study concluded that the assertive behavior class XI MIA 1 at SMA 3 Magelang before getting services with lower category, after getting the service with high category, so that assertive behavior through mastery of content services sociodrama technique can be improved.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the phenomenon that occurs in the guidance and counseling teacher graduates of state universities and private colleges in Pemalang district Junior High School. The purpose of this study was to prove there any differences in pedagogical competence and professional competence of guidance and counseling teacher graduates of state universities and private colleges. This research is a comparative study with teacher guidance and counseling 40 subjects. The data collection method used was a questionnaire about pedagogical competence and professional competence of guidance and counseling teacher. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis of the percentage and t-test. The results showed no difference in the average and the percentage of each component. It shows that there are differences in the implementation of pedagogic and professional competence between guidance and counseling teacher graduates of state universities and private colleges in Pemalang district Junior High School.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the phenomenon that occurs in students at SMP N 2 Jaken which has a high smoking behavior. The purpose of this study was to investagate tingat smoking behavior of students before and after counseling services as well as the effectiveness of the counseling approach rational emotive behavior therapy time projection techniques in reducing smoking behavior of students. This type of research is experimental research. Experimental research is research used to seek treatment effect tenterntu. This research carried out with 5 times the provision of treatment to students with a number of research subjects 2 students. Data collection method used is the psychological scale, observation, and interviews. Data were analyzed using analysis deskiptif percentage and Wilcoxon test. The results showed the smoking behavior in the high category R1 (69.5%) and R2 (68%). After being given treatment decline in smoking behavior in the low category R1 (55.5%) and R2 (55%). It shows that the smoking behavior of students can be lowered to 2 with counseling approach rational emotive behavior therapy time projection technique.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the phenomenon in Muhammadiyah orphanage Semarang which shows a low level of self learning. This research aimed to determine changes of children’s self learning inMuhammadiyah orphanage Semarang through individual counselin with behavioral approach, behavior contract technique. This research uses a case study approach that is directed into the handling of the case. The focus of this research is the low level of children’s self learning when the children in the orphanages. Data collection methods used wereinterviews, observation, and documentation. The data’s validity testing technique is by triangulation. Analysis of the data used analysis of content, comparative and logic. The subjects of research are AW, EDP, and MKG that have problems with low level of self learning. Theresults of the counseling research to three children is known that the children’s self learning when in the orphanage is already increase, so based on the results of the research can be concludedthat the lack of counselee’s self learning can be solved through individual counseling with behavioral approach, behavior contract technique.

Abstract

This research has been implemented according to phenomenon in junior high shcool 2 Warureja which shows prosocial behavior of students is low shown by behavior less contribute to cooperative classroom and school, less able to help selflessly, honesty is still low. The purpose of this research was to know influence mastery of content services with psychodrama techniques on prosocial behavior by looking at difference before and after service. The research is experimental research design used is one group pre test-post test design. The population is all 7th grade students in Junior High School 2 Warureja with a total of 203 students and sample number of 20 students using purposive sampling technique. Prosocial scale instruments have been tested using the construct validity of product moment, and reliabelitas instrument with Alpha. Technique analyze data use the Wilcoxon matched pairs test. Test results obtained score t count = 0 < t table = 52, and z count = 3,919 > table z = 1.645, or means Ha accepted and Ho rejected. Results of this research is mastery content service with psychodrama techniques has positive effects on prosocial behavior 7th grade. Therefore, the results of this research can used to develop student prosocial behavior.
