Abstract

Islamic Religious Education Curriculum Development at Madrasah (Study On Thought Muhaimin).The question of how the fate of a country in the future, largely determined by the quality of future generations. The quality of the next generation is strongly influenced by how much the nation's attention to the quality of education. Meanwhile, one of many elements in education, curriculum plays an important role in determining the success or failure of a country achieve education goals. Muhaimin thinking about an alternative concept of curriculum development in Madrasah interesting to examine, in developing undertakings of Islamic education as a national educational subsystem. This research is a library research (library research), using a philosophical approach and analyzed using content analysis (content analysis). Muhaimin idea about the Madrasah curriculum development using a variety of approaches namely; approaches the subject of academic, humanistic approach, the technological approach, and the approach of social rekosntruksi. The concept of curriculum development Muhaimin, has advantages trsendiri by combining a variety of intelligence, including IQ (intelligent quotient), EQ (emotional quotient), CQ (creativity quotient) and SQ (spiritual quotient). Abstract

This research is used to determine the extent of the application of cooperative learning peer tutor in class VI Elementary School 2 Metro West, on the activities and student learning outcomes. Indicators used in the research activity determine the success of student learning is to look at the observation sheet of research about student learning activities undertaken in class. The success of the research activities of students in the use of cooperative methods of peer tutoring is if at least 80% of its students have acquired or have a high learning activities in accordance with the calculations on the observation sheet that has been created by researchers in this study. After the recapitulation sheet researcher and teacher observation of a partner or team teaching results obtained by 10 students or 27.78% of the students have a low learning activities, as many as seven students or 19.44% of its students have learning activities that are, 15 students or approximately 41.67% of its students have high learning activities and 7 students or 19.44% students have a very high learning activities, and 8 students or 22.22% of its students have learned a very low activity. Abstract

Analysis of Mixed Code (Mixing code) and Transfer Code (Code Switching) in Arabic Conversation (Studies in Student of Arabic Education department IAIM NU Metro Lampung). Lecturer Research of Institute of Islamic Studies Ma’arif NU Metro Lampung in 2016. One of the fundamental problems underlying the author's take on this study, because students majoring in Arabic education is a subject which is still new in IAIM in mid April 2016 the first alumni of Arabic education department IAIM had been graduated, IAIM recently graduated 12 students, so the language skills of students are still very limited, besides that the educational background of the student previously also varied so that the level of language skills of the students vary, so it is sometimes difficult to implementt Arabic actively both oral and written. Therefore, the application of the Arabic language in IAIM is very important, so that students are able to use the Arabic language correctly and well to create language environment (Bi'ah Lughowiyah), by formulating the two issues; First, What is the form of code switching and code-mixing that occurs in the process of group discussion among PBA student in IAIM. Second; Are the factors that cause the occurrence of code switching and code-mixing in the process of group discussion on student PBA. The discussion in this study is qualitative. Data collection methods used in this study is "Listen method" refer to the method used in the provision of data by sounding off the usage of language. In the social sciences this method can be compared with the method of observation. Then proceed to consider the techniques involved free conversation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the "Analysis of Mixed Code (Mixing code) and Transfer Code (Code Switching) in Arabic Conversation (the study in Arabic education department at IAIM NU Metro Lampung). The data found associated with symptoms of code switching that occur among students IAIM is divided into three formations, namely: (1) control codes in Arabic to Indonesia, (2) transfer code on Indonesian to Arabic, (3) over code in Arabic to the regional (local). By its nature, the symptoms of code can be classified into two categories namely; over the internal code and external code switching. (1) Transfer of internal code is the code switching that occurs between the regional languages ​​in the national language, such as Javanese and Madurese. (2) Transfer of external code is the code switching that occurs between the original language with a foreign language, for example Indonesian with English. The factors behind the occurrence of code switching and code-mixing among students, namely; (1) the inability of students to understand the Arabic language, (2) To demonstrate academic ability, (3) As a slang/style, (4) Speakers (students) want to attract interlocutor, (5) Lack of mastery of vocabulary Arabic owned student. Abstract

This study aimed to describe : 1) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in understand the problem “integral application”; 2) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in making a plan to solve problems “integral application”; 3) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in carry out the plan to solve problems “integral application”; 4) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in look back the answer “integral application”. This type of research was a qualitative research case study method. There are fourth subjects in this research: two students with high math anxiety and two students with low anxiety. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The data was validated using a time triangulation test. The results of this research showed that (1) when attempting to understand the problem, planning an approach to solving the problem, carry out the planning, look back the answer the students with high math anxiety used convergent thinking process; (2) when attempting to understand the problem, planning an approach to solving the problem, carry out the planning the students with low math anxiety used divergent thinking process while look back the answer used convergent thinking. Abstract

This study deals with error analysis on composition written by EFL Students IAIM NU Metro. It aims at developing further analyzing of error analysis in second language learners. For this purpose, an empirical study was conducted, using Indonesian students learning English as the subject of research. To achieve this purpose, the researcher explored the type of grammatical errors made by students at different grade semesters: the second, the sixth, and the eighth. More specifically, this study was an attempt to describe the type of grammatical error which frequently exist in written composition, to describe frequency grammatical error among the grade semesters, and to describe the sources of errors. Students’ writings were analyzed based on surface strategy taxonomy theory. The results of this research revealed that 268 sentences indicated errors. In all semesters, types of omission error was the highest one 131 (48.9%) sentences. Furthermore, grammatical error in the second semester was the highest one 124 (46.8%) sentences. The sources of errors of this research were mother-tongue influence (Interlingual errors). It was influenced by the native language which interferes with target language learning. The second was Intralingual errors, caused by the target tself like, misanalysis (wrong hypothesis), incomplete rule application. Keywords: Surface Strategy Taxonomy, Error Analysis, IAIM NU Metro.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the analyzed misconceptions in solving the sequence of the real number. This research used the descriptive research method with the qualitative explorative approach. The subjects of the research were 12 students 2013 A Program Study Of Education Mathematics, four students category of high value, four students category of medium value, and four students category of low value. The instruments used to gather data of worksheet for problem solving and interview guidelines. The data were task-based interview on the learning material of real analysis problems.They were validated by using the time triangulation and the reference fulfillment. Identification of misconceptions was conducted using Technique of Response Index (CRI) developed by Saleem Hasan with the way of tests. Analysis data this report is written with use the model miles and huberman.The result of the research are as follows: 1) the average capability understanding the concept of students on the sequence of the real number is 67,53%, 2) based on the analysis of CRI based on the criteria answer students, 16,67% (indicators 2), 16,67% (indicators 3), 8,33% (indicators 4) is students were do not know the concept (lucky guess); 25% (indicators 1), 8,33% (indicators 2), 25% (indicators 3), 16,67 (indicators 4), 16,67% (indicators 5), and 66,67% (indicators 6) is students control the concept and reasonable; and 41,67% (indicators 1), 25% (indicators 2), 33,33% (indicators 3), 41,47% (indicators 4), 50% (indicators 5), and 33,33% (indicators 6) is happened misconceptions of students. Abstract

This research aims to review the mistake of students in resolving word problems, in terms of the study and described factors. Subjects research is Grade VII students of SMPN 5 Metro. The research is descriptive qualitative. The collection includes the survey data student’s learning style, the test sheets, and intervie. The results of the research is visual students dominant made an interpretation language mistake, auditorial students dominant made a technical mistake, and kinesthetic students dominant made an interpretation language and technical mistake. The Factors affecting students made a mistake in resolving word problems math is: a) Misinterpret about the formula that used to make a mathematics sentence. b) did not understand model or mathematics sentence. c) mastery the concept of a prerequisite immature. d) less well in understanding and read handling of about. e) reasoning a less well to translate intent and direction about. f) impression negative on word problems seen scary and make students lazy to read about. g) not scrupulous or meticulously in reading and tend to careless in the surgery on about. h) could not distinguish between answers model or sentence mathematics with the final answer questions. Abstract

The background of this research is the low activity of learning and speaking skills of students, its approximately about 3 to 4 students (15% to 21%), and the speech was halting, inaccurate and not coherent. Moreover, with the result of reflection and consultation with colleagues eventually we concluded that the need to immediately look for alternative solutions in an effort to develop and improve the ability to speak another language skill. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used by observation, documentation, and testing. The collected data was then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the students were able to pronounce vocabulary through picture books, children who reach the percentage is very high gain values ​​from 0% to 11% the first cycle and the second cycle reaches the percentage of very high gain values ​​from 0% to 78%, could tell the story with pictures provided, children who reached a very high percentage of getting value from 0% to 83%, retelling the stories that have been told, a child who reaches a very high percentage of getting value from 05 to 5.5% the first cycle to the second cycle reaches a very high percentage gain value from 0% to 67% Keywords: Activity learning, speaking skills

Abstract

Abstract Reading process is not only an activity of pronouncing sentences but it tends to comprehensive process in understanding text and context of a certain topic. For instance, when we are reading a text about travelling we are trying to understand the vocabulary of the topic by recalling our knowledge to the topic. In teaching and learning process, reading is categorized as productive skill. This skill demands the students and the teachers to be more active in finding and giving information. The most authentic and real information can be obtain from authentic materials. Therefore, authentic materials (brochure, news paper, and leaflet etc) can be used as teaching media. However, the implementation of authentic material in teaching and learning process can be misleading, it is because authentic material provides reality level of English, up-to-date, provide certain context and directly relevant to certain need. In this case, teacher needs to arrange the activity for teaching and learning process more understandable contextually and lexically. This research is conceptual study of designing activity in the classroom through worksheet. The worksheet is designed based on discourse analysis. Therefore, the worksheet consists of three activities. The first activity starts from the small think of the text, lexis. Activity 1 and 2 tries to measure students’ ability in identifying reiteration lexis, synonym. Activity 3 is considered as macro skill, it tries to measure student ability in finding information explicitly and implicitly. Activity 4 is also macro skill of reading.
