Abstract

The education about science was very important to create students character in order to be faithful and pious to God, that was because the existence of the truth about creation verses and its’ process. In this case, the figure of science, a moslem scientist, Ibn Taymiyah, which his theory about creation was used by an education institution in Central Java to apply character based education from the study of science. The writer used field research method to know about the plot of the science education which apllied in the school. The aim is to know how far the integrative education between Scince and Al Qur’an is in creating the good character of students. The object is the students of Darul Ihsan Muhammadiyah Trensains Highschool who practiced about science in the laboratorium or out of class. The result is that the active students in the science study based on Al Qur’an and character were well mannered, has better attitude than their friends and more faithful.

Abstract

Today Curriculum management is increasingly getting the attention of scientists in the field of education, it is supported by the education policy since the enactment of Law number 22 of 1999 and revised in 2004 with the new law number 32 of 2004 on regional autonomy, about decentralization so that regions have the authority to provide policy direction in education management. The purpose of the research is to describe the management of madrasah based curriculum in MAN 1 Kota Metro. Methods of data collection through interviews, observations and documents are then analyzed with descriptive qualitative. Conclusion in madrasah based curriculum management integrated with Modern boarding school (boarding school) include: 1). Planning, madrasah make curriculum based on Vision and Mission and analyze SWOT, the formulation of curriculum socialized to stakeholders then made into madrasah curriculum after obtaining validation from Ministry of Religious Province Lampung , 2) .The implementation of curriculum, madrasah in carrying out supported by a strong managerial, innovative, creative and aviation academic situation is conducive to implementing the needs of the learning environment effectively, 3). Abstract

Literary works have been widely believed to be meaningful resources of linguistic input, cultural input, and values that can be used to teach native language or foreign language. The exploration of such belief in the postmethod era and at particular context like Indonesian Islamic university is still under research. This research is aimed at describing the teachers’ and students’ beliefs, attitudes, preferences, and experiences concerning the use of literary works at language classrooms. The research was a case study involving 8 lecturers and 9 students from Ma’arif Islamic Institute NU of Metro, Muhammdiyah University of Metro, and State Islamic Institute of Metro. The research data were collected through semi-structured interview, analyzed qualitatively, and validated through member checking technique. The findings of the research show that all respondents believe that literature is a pleasurable resource to teach language skills, enhance cultural and intercultural understanding, and inculcate transcendental dimension. Literature could be flexibly used in the opening, instructional, and closing phases of a lesson delivery. Literary works from various traditions are basically welcome. Developing a literature-based learning materials is feasible when it promotes language skills and contains values related to Indonesian multicultural education.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia in the last few decades shows a poor paradigm in education. In the implementation of character education in gadang-gadang as a solution of moral degradation among them by actualized the values ​​of Islamic Religious Education which is not limited to learning process but to the level of experience (experience). The rise of brawl and promiscuity show the existence of bad character. Pesantren is a traditional education that plays a role in realizing the nation's independence and intelligence. Reviewing the existing problems then needed a new breakthrough that has the distinguishing nature between the formation of characters in formal institutions with pesantren institutions. Character education in pesantren especially Pesantren Nurul jadid Paiton Probolinggo by restoring divine values ​​to human being is actualized by the internalization of character building through trilogy and the consciousness of santri conceptualized in the life culture of santri. From the results obtained, the internalization of character building through trilogy and consciousness in Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo santri is seen in: 1) the daily activities of santri in the form of congregational prayer, the implementation of school diniyah or formal, FKS activities, the existence of pesantren rules, santri who ta'dzim against kyai and asatidz. This activity contains the values ​​of trilogy and awareness of students 2) The media used in the process of internalization diaktualisasikan also by the behavior of a kyai who became a role model in boarding schools and deserve to emulate. Pendidikan di Indonesia dalam beberapa dekade terakhir menunjukkan paradigma yang memprihatinkan dalam seputar dunia pendidikan. Dalam implementasinya pendidikan karakter di gadang-gadang sebagai solusi degradasi moral diantaranya dengan diaktualisasikan nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam yang tidak sebatas menjadi proses belajar mengajar akan tetapi sampai pada taraf pengalaman (experience). Maraknya aksi tawuran dan pergaulan bebas menunjukkan adanya karakter yang kurang baik. Pesantren merupakan edukasi tradisional yang banyak berperan dalam mewujudkan kemerdekaan dan kecerdasan bangsa. Meninjau problem yang ada maka dibutuhkan terobosan baru yang memiliki sifat pembeda antara pembentukan karakter di lembaga formal dengan lembaga pesantren. Pendidikan karakter yang di upayakan pesantren khususnya Pondok Pesantren Nurul jadid Paiton Probolinggo dengan mengembalikan nilai-nilai ilahiyah pada manusia diaktualisasikan dengan trans internalisasi pembentukan karakter melalui trilogi dan panca kesadaran santri yang terkonsep dalam budaya kehidupan santri. Dari hasil yang diperoleh, trans internalisasi pembentukan karakter melalui trilogi dan panca kesadaran santri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo terlihat pada: 1) kegiatan keseharian santri berupa shalat berjamaah, dilaksanakannya sekolah diniyah maupun formal, kegiatan FKS, adanya peraturan-peraturan pesantren, sikap santri yang ta’dzim terhadap kyai dan asatidz. Kegiatan ini memuat nilai-nilai trilogi dan panca kesadaran santri 2) Media yang digunakan dalam proses internalisasi diaktualisasikan pula oleh tingkah laku seorang kyai yang menjadi role model di pesantren dan layak untuk diteladani.

Abstract

The aim of this study describes how the process of intercultural communication students, what are the constraints or barriers faced by the students in the process of intercultural communication, how the students realise the harmony in intercultural communication. The researcher uses a qualitative ethnographic approach. The result show that 1) Indonesian language as an introduction and an opening at the Darul A'mal boarding school environment, 2) Indonesian as a language that is easily understood, 3) the use of the Java language as a language of communication Kromo Inggil to an older person, 4) the Java language is used in the process of reviewing the yellow book learning, 5) use of the letters pegon, Furthermore, to achieve harmony in the process of intercultural communication of the students apply the following things: 1) mutual respect and appreciation, 2) tolerance that accepts differences. Abstract

Science of religion and science of general importance that should be controlled by everyone in order to rule the world and also can control the hereafter. For the sake of balancing the General Science and religion science needs to make policies. Researchers explore or examine deeper against a problem of integration of science and religion science common to students in facing the globalization era in boarding schools Daughter Ar-Raudloh. The concept of integration of science and religion science the public looks at the latest innovation by integrating two different things, between religion and Science General Science of embodied language learning with the United Kingdom. For the application of the integration of religion and Science General Science by students in facing the era of globalization through additional language learning United Kingdom should ideally include, United Kingdom language learning planning process, the target to be achieved in the process of United Kingdom language learning, implementation and evaluation of language learning learning United Kingdom. Abstract

The main objectives of this study are: 1) to understand the conflicting picture, especially the students' conflict in the Madrasah environment; 2) to know the description of madrasah programs related to conflict resolution; 3) to know the distinctive concept of Multicultural-Religious Education; 4) to know the implementation of conflict resolution learning in Multicultural-Religious Education in Madrasahs; and 5) to know the impact of conflict resolution learning in Multicultural-Religious Education students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 East Lampung. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques use documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that learning conflict resolution in MAN 1 East Lampung performed by instilling the values of multicultural education based on the principle of transparency (openness), tolerance (tolerance), unity in diversity (unity in diversity), and Islam rahmatan lil'amalin. Abstract

This study focuses on one of the figures in the renewal of Islamic education oriented to the wealth and cultural resources of each nation that is nationalism that is KH Hasyim asy'ari. The researcher uses a method of character study to uncover an understanding of the personality of an individual in a particular community and in a particular field, expressing his views, motivations, life history, and ambition as an individual through his or her confession, then analyzed using historical analysis, content analysis. The result of this research is that for academics and the general public, it is necessary to consider the concept of KH Islamic education renewal. Hasyim As'ary that has been done before the age of independence, which today can be felt by the entire nation of Indonesia. In this case KH. Hasyim As'ary introduced the concept of religious education and nationalism that can be used as a pattern of religion and state in diversity like in Indonesia. Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine; (1) the planning and procurement of facilities and infrastructure of Pondok Pesantren; (2) distribution of facilities and infrastructure of Pondok Pesantren; (3) maintenance of facilities and infrastructure of Pondok Pesantren; (4) inventory of facilities and infrastructure of Pondok Pesantren; (5) removal of facilities and infrastructure of Pondok Pesantren. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive design. From the analysis result concluded; (1) Needs and Procurement Analysis: (a) Planning aims to find out the facilities and infrastructure needed to achieve the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the pesantren, (b) Planning is done early in the year, (2) Distribution: (a) the purchase of facilities and infrastructure by selection, (b) distribution is distributed to each department and class program; (3) Maintenance: (a) the use of learning is tailored to the needs of teachers and students, (b) the use of discipline to be observed by santri, (4) Inventory: (a) inventory is undertaken by specialized staff, (b) recording of all items, recording of usage and recapitulation report for a year, (5) Removal: (a) deletion done with initial report making news of the event, (b) removal for unsuitable items Keyword: management, facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Islamic pesantren or pesantren cottage can be termed as Aswaja Kiai which became an Islamic heritage of the wali have unique and extraordinary features in the history of Islamic da'wah in Indonesia known as moderate aswaja featuring Islamic features that are polite, peaceful, not pushy, not extreme right, no extreme left, by the scholars' or Kiai is very dominant coloring its role in the development of da'wah moderatisme system or learning through boarding school, as well as the development of the nature of religious rituals characterized by tasawwuf holiness that is not fatalistic let alone hedon matrial dried Aswaja teachings is very rooted and residing dihe along with the development of Islamic society of Indonesia a majmuk and multicultural. He seemed to be a form of moderate Islam that rahmatan lil alamin for the life of nation and community, so reasonable, if he to this day still exist and able to do self-actualization with the development of society.
