Abstract

One of the fundamental problems in the border area of Sanggau Regency is the infrastructure of roads and bridges. Those problems become more complex due to various aspects that affect the governmental institutions are the community, environment, and other aspects. The above problems will produce some implication to many fields such as society, culture, economic, defence and security. The implications are not only local but also national. Based on the problems, the research aims is to describe and analyze the complexity of public basic services for roads and bridges by point of view of the external aspects of an organization. The results of the study show that the main factors in which the public basic services are not optimal are the unfavourable local and socio-economic conditions of the community. The cost needed in basic public services is high enough because of the landscape range. It is exacerbated by the socio-economic constraints of the community which indirectly can hamper the process of running the public services provided. In overcoming of the two problems, the strategic effort that needed is better coordination amongst the organizations in the area. For example, The public works Services (Dinas Pekerjaan Umum) must be coordinated to the other government organization in implementing some programs.

Abstract

Education policy during the COVID-19 pandemic prioritizes safety and health, both learners, educators and the community. This policy is based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of four ministers that is still valid to this day. The priority in implementing this policy is collaborative governance, where every layer of society actively participates from formulation to policy implementation. This research specifically discusses the implementation of education policies in the Indonesia-Malaysia border region, Entikong West Kalimantan. This research method is the exploration of primary data and secondary data. Field primary data is obtained through observation and secondary data through literature review with topic clustering; collaborative governance, education policy, and learning in times of pandemics. Based on the discussion, the concept of collaborative governance has not been fully implemented in the application of education policy in the pandemic period. This is because there is an urgent situation in the implementation of online learning. While in collaborative governance, more activities are carried out face-to-face; Such as socialization and community participation

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia where the worrying situation has affected almost every all-region in Indonesia, including West Kalimantan. One of the referral hospitals for the case of COVID-19 in West Kalimantan is RSUD dr. Agoesdjam is the only one referral hospital in the Ketapang Regency area. This makes a critical situation, considering that Ketapang Regency is very large and there is only one referral hospital. The problem that arises later is the number of patients from various regions who come to check themselves at RSUD dr. Agoesdjam Ketapang, where this hospital has a limited number of doctors and health workers. This causes job burnout for health workers, where they have to work extra in monitoring and handling patients regularly in their work environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with an exploration of primary and secondary data. Primary data refers to the interview results while secondary data comes from journal searches and online media coverage. Based on the results and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the COVID-19 situation in RSUD dr. Agoesdjam is quite worrying so that it increases the alertness of the hospital, in this case, the job burnout of health workers is increasing. The duties and responsibilities of nurses are a priority in handling COVID-19 patients and this case raises fear, worry, and energy burden and thoughts for health workers, especially nurses at RSUD dr. The purpose of this study was to determine ethnic and social relations in the context of social relations problems in the fields of economy, religion, kinship and society in Tanjung Hulu Village, East Pontianak District. The method used is descriptive analytical qualitative method with a qualitative approach. Analytical descriptions are used to describe the state of the community being studied as it is. The qualitative approach emphasizes research methods that use qualitative data. The results show that there are far more Malays than immigrants, but they are not yet qualified to dominate other cultures. They also do not excel in the economic field. This can be seen when the economy is generally dominated by ethnic immigrants such as Madurese, Padang, and Chinese. Social relations in the field of kinship, especially in choosing a partner, still want a partner from their tribe, but inter-tribal marriages often occur. The religious factor is still being considered. Social relations in the field of religion seem very tolerant between adherents of different religions. Social relations in peoples lives between different ethnic groups seek to coexist, promote and maintain harmony, regardless of ethnic or cultural origin. In other words, they fit into the society they live in.

Abstract

This study describes the customary legal system that is still taking place at Dayak Ribun in Parindu District, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. The subject of the study was Dayak Ribun ethnic. The approach used in this study is the ethnographic approach. Data collection uses live observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that Dayak Ribun ethnic is a root ethnik from Dayak Klemantan inhabiting the interior of Sanggau Regency, especially in Parindu District and a small part in the districts of Tayan Hulu, Tayan Hilir, Bonti, and Kembayan. Historically, this ethnic ancestor came from west Kalimantan-Malaysia border in Nekan Entikong area which is now known as Tembawang Ribun. The size of the customary punishment is measured by tahil terms. The harshest customary punishment is murder, whether the planned or in-accident murder called the patinyawa custom. The implication of this research is that local wisdom and customary law which is an ethnographic framework owned by Dayak Ribun ethnic needs to be preserved. This is considering the rapid development of technology today, it does not close the possibility that local wisdom inherited by their ancestors will be eroded by the times.
