Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan tentang 1) pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk pendidikan anak usia dini, 2) manajemen pengelolaan lembaga PAUD, 3) peningkatan keterampilan orang tua siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka dilakukan beberapa kegiatan meliputi 1) pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran dan membuat APE, 2) perbaikan manajemen lembaga PAUD, 3) pelatihan keterampilan untuk orang tua. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di PAUD Al-Muslimun yang berada di desa Gempolsari dan Pos PAUD Pelangi yang berada di Ketegan ke dua sekolah mitra berada di Kecamatan Tanggulangin. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terwujudnya pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan pedoman pembelajaran anak usia dini dengan tersusunnya RPPH, tersedianya alat media edukatif pembelajaran pendidikan anak usia dini, serta terlaksananya parenting bagi orang tua murid.

Abstract

Abstrak: Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 1 telah diselenggarakan pada SD sasaran, yaitu SDIT Madani Ekselensia Sidoarjo pada bulan Maret hingga Juni 2021. Program ini adalah bagian dari Kampus Merdeka yang melibatkan mahasiswa dari berbagai universitas di Indonesia dan latar belakang Pendidikan untuk membantu proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar yang terakreditasi C dan memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk dapat belajar dan mengembangkan diri melalui aktivitas di luar kelas perkuliahan. Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 1 di SDIT Madani Ekselensia bertujuan untuk membantu mengoptimalkan pelayanan Pendidikan SD selama pandemi. Program ini melibatkan delapan mahasiswa terpilih untuk mengabdikan diri di SDIT Madani Ekselensia yang berasal dari berbagai latar belakang Pendidikan, diantaranya dari program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling, Ilmu Administrasi Negara, PGSD, Teknik Elektro, Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang, dan Manajemen. Program ini berkontribusi dalam peningkatan empati dan simpati mahasiswa serta keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa.Abstract:  Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 1 Program has been held at the target elementary school, namely SDIT Madani Ekselensia Sidoarjo from March to June 2021. This program is part of the Merdeka Campus which involves students from various universities in Indonesia and educational backgrounds to assist the teaching and learning process in elementary schools. which is accredited C and provides opportunities for students to be able to learn and develop themselves through activities outside of class lectures. The Teaching Campus Program Batch 1 at SDIT Madani Ekselensia aims to help optimize elementary education services during the pandemic. This program involves eight students selected to devote themselves to SDIT Madani Ekselensia who come from various educational backgrounds, including from Guidance and Counseling study programs, State Administration Science, PGSD, Electrical Engineering, Japanese Language Education, and Management. This program contributes to increasing students' empathy and sympathy as well as students' teaching skills.

Abstract

Academic procrastination in students is a determining factor for the success of students in completing their studies. Engagement with the community and the ability of students to organize themselves in learning also play a role in academic procrastination. This study aims to determine the relationship of Sense of Community (SoC) and Self -Regulated Learning (SRL) with Academic Procrastination. The population of this study was all UMSIDA students in the odd semester of 2018-2019 academic year with the total number of 9824 students and the total sample based on Isaac and Michael's table with an 5% error rate were 385 students with a proportioned random sampling technique. Research data collection used three psychological scales, namely the scale of academic procrastination, the scale of the sense of community, and the scale of self-regulated learning. Analysis of research data used was product moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the Sense of Community and Self-Regulated Learning have a negative relationship with academic procrastination. If students perceive themselves to have a Sense of Community and high Self-Regulated Learning, they will tend to reduce their academic procrastination. However, the Self-Regulated Learning prediction on academic procrastination is higher than the Sense of Community on academic procrastination.

Abstract

The school canteen has an important role to fulfill the food needs of school children. In general, foods that are sold in canteens have very diverse variations, with prices relatively cheap and easily accessible to school children. The need for fulfillment of hygienic foods is ordered by the factors of place and hygiene of the food handlers need to be done. Foods that do not meet the requirements and safety that can be given due to health problems or diseases related to food such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhus, and other food poisoning. The number of food handlers in the cafeteria of SD Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sidoarjo competes 6 people. Based on the results of observations and interviews, they did not have sufficient educational background in terms of hygiene and food sanitation, and they never gained knowledge about food hygiene and sanitation. This will greatly determine the quality of food provided to consumers especially elementary school children. Based on this, the Community Service activities on hygiene training and food sanitation were carried out at food handlers in the cafeteria of Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 elementary schools in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek kemampuan yang penting untuk dikembangkan pada anak usia dini adalahkemampuan motorik halus anak. Kemampuan motorik halus membantu anak untukmemperoleh kemandiriannya, membantu mendapatkan penerimaan sosial, dan dapatmenimbulkan rasa percaya diri pada anak. Kemampuan motorik halus dapat ditingkatkan melaluibermain messy play. Messy Play merupakan jenis permainan yang merangsang sensor motorikhalus dan kasar.Permainan ini dilakukan anak baik di alam terbuka maupun di dalam ruangandan membuat tubuh anak menjadi kotor, sehingga dikatakan dengan bermain messy play.Selaintubuh anak aktif, anak juga akan belajar mengkoordinasikan panca inderanya melalui sentuhan,bau, rasa, pendengaran, dan penglihatan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1)mendeskripsikanpenerapan bermain messy play dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak KelompokA, (2) Mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan bermain messy play dalam meningkatkan kemampuanmotorik halus anak Kelompok A. Sedangkan luaran yang ditargetkan dalam penelitian ini adalahtersedianya perangkat pembelajaran dengan penerapan bermain Messy Play untukmeningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak TK kelompok A. Metode yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan melalui 4tahapan dalam setiap siklusnya. Adapun tahapan tersebut adalah: (1) perencanaan, (2)pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyiyah BustanulAthfal Kalibader dengan 2 siklus. Siklus I dilakukan empat kali pertemuan, jika dalam siklus Ibelum berhasil, maka dilakukan siklus II dengan tiga kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan observasi, lembar asesmen, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penerapanbermain messy play dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A di TKAisyiyah Kalibader. Hal ini dibuktikan adanya peningkatan pada nilai ketuntasan di siklus I dansiklus II. Pada siklus I ketuntasan nilai keseluruhan kelompok A adalah 65%, dan pada siklus IIketuntasan nilai keseluruhan kelompok A adalah 88,1%. Hal ini membuktikan adanya peningkatankemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A setelah dilakukan penerapan bermain messy play.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore further the quality of the basic teaching skills of teachers and the usefulness of students' cognitive apprenticeship abilities that are part of a teacher's basic teaching skills. This study uses a literature review research method that describes theories, findings, and other research materials obtained from reference materials to serve as a basis for research activities to develop a framework for cognitive apprenticeship and basic teaching skills of teachers. The results obtained are that the basic teaching skills of teachers still need to be improved. So we need a breakthrough to help improve the basic skills of teaching teachers, one of which is by applying cognitive apprenticeship skills in the teaching skills of prospective teacher students starting from habituation in lectures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increased learning motivation of PGSD students of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo after the implementation of the Quantum Teaching learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. Cycle (I) consists of the activities of Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection conducted during two meetings. Likewise with cycle (II), which is done during two meetings. Data collection techniques that are applied are observation techniques, filling out motivation learning questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data processing used is descriptive percentage. The results showed that there was an increase in the average score of the learning motivation of PGSD students of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University A1 Semester 1 class from a score of 67.9% (cycle I) to 80.1% (cycle II) through the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in learning motivation of PGSD students at Muhamamdiyah Sidoarjo University after the implementation of the Quantum Teaching learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Powtoon-based social studies learning media on the learning interest of fourth-grade students at Jenggot Elementary School, Krembung, Sidoarjo. The type of this research is Pre-Experimental Design which uses One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The sample in this study were 18 students in class fourth-graders at Jenggot Elementary School, Krembung, Sidoarjo. The data collection technique used in this research is a questionnaire/questionnaire. Data on student interest in learning shows the average value (mean) of the pretest is 42.61 while the average value (mean) of the posttest is 70.44. While the tcount value is 10.820 and the ttable value is 2.11991 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Student interest in learning data shows that tcount 10,820 > ttable 2.11991, this indicates that there is a significant or real difference between pretest learning interest and posttest learning interest, so Ha is accepted or Powtoon-based social studies learning media has a significant effect on fourth-grade students' learning interest, Jenggot Elementary School, Krembung, Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' social science knowledge competence through conventional learning methods with the Snowball Throwing learning method assisted by audio-visual media in fourth grade students of SDN Banjarpanji. This research is included in classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanji. The number of fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanji is 13 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results obtained from the pre-cycle activities showed that the percentage of classical learning completeness was 30.7%. Cycle I with the percentage of classical learning completeness 38.4%, while in the second cycle the percentage of classical learning completeness is 100%. To compare two paired samples, the researcher used Paired Sample T-Test as data analysis. It can be seen that there is a significant difference between the two learning methods of 0.237. Thus, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing learning method assisted by audio-visual media can improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Banjarpanji.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media BINTAR terhadap minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran TEMATIK kelas 2 SD Antawirya Islamic Javanese School. Hal yang menjadi hambatan dalam pembelajaran disebabkan karena penggunaan media belum maksimal, sehingga siswa tidak antusias pada pembelajaran di kelas. Untuk itu perlu diterapkan suatu media yang lebih inovatif. Media BINTAR yang digunakan guru membantu memantapkan pengetahuan siswa dan menghidupkan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen karena ada suatu perlakuan yang diterapkan oleh peneliti. Desain penelitian menggunakan one group pretest posttest desain. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji t (one tail test). Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penerapan media BINTAR pada pembelajaran TEMATIK kelas SD Antawirya Islamic Javanese School. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikan 5% ttabel. Disimpulkan bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu 1,928 > 1,761. Hasil ini dapat dinyatakan ada pengaruh dari media BINTAR terhadap minat belajar siswa.Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of BINTAR media on students' interest in learning in 2nd grade THEMATIC learning at SD Antawirya Islamic Javanese School. The thing that becomes an obstacle in learning is because the use of media has not been maximized, so students are not enthusiastic about learning in class. For this reason, it is necessary to apply a more innovative media. The BINTAR media used by the teacher helps strengthen students' knowledge and revive the learning process. This research is an experimental research type because there is a treatment applied by the researcher. The research design used a one group pretest posttest design. Analysis of research data using the t test (one tail test) While the data collection technique using a questionnaire. The results showed a significant increase in the application of BINTAR media in the THEMATIC learning of the Antawirya Islamic Javanese School Elementary School class. This can be seen from the results of the t test with a significant level of 5% ttable. It is concluded that tcount > ttable is 1,928 > 1,761. These results can be stated that there is an influence from BINTAR media on students' interest in learning.
