Abstract

The successful implementation of e-Learning in a college is influenced by many factors. One of these factors is the readiness of universities to use e-Learning in teaching and learning process. E-Learning Readiness (ELR) is an instrument developed by Aydin and Tasci to measure the level of readiness of e-Learning implementation in developing countries grouped into four factors: technology, innovation human, and self-development,. This study aims to determine the level of readiness of e-Learning implementation in teaching and learning process at Hasnur Polytechnic. The results showed that Hasnur Polytechnic is included in the ready category in applying e-learning but requires an improvement on several factors.

Abstract

E-Campus is a support media of administration and academic activities system that used to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of campus activities. However, e-Campus is created and developed by the public to meet the needs in general, which means it is not created to the specific needs of the campus that impact on campus administration and academic activities such as unused features or those that unrelated to campus activities. Furthermore, for students and lecturers, there are parts of the form that are not complete, and so forth. Evaluation with e-Campus system is done by multi method which consist of usability test, that is observing respondent difficulties in utilizing function / e-Campus feature specifically, and system usability scale to assess system as a whole. The results show that none of the scenarios were successfully resolved without help (hint). The completion rate for tasks 13 and 18 is 0% of all users and furthermore, not all tasks were completed on time. The main problem lies in the page view, toolbar, navigation system and incomplete pages. The e-campus prototype was built based on Shneiderman’s 8 Golden Rules of Interface Design with considerations on inputs from the evaluation process

Abstract

LINE TODAY App is a mobile news application developed by LINE Corp. The main objective of the project itself is to reach a certain amount of screen views every month which is user stickiness. But it only reached three percent of the goal in the second year of development. Due to the importance of this project to the company, the application needs an immediate and proper solution. Therefore, factors that affect the stickiness of the LINE TODAY App have to be examined. The theoretical framework of this research is constructed based on the information system success model and customer engagement theory. This study is mixed-methods research which research object is users who used LINE TODAY App. Data collection is conducted in sequence, started by collecting an online survey by involving 76 users. It was continued by conducting the contextual interview by inviting 8 interviewees. The quantitative data was processed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) using the SmartPLS application. This study found that there are four factors that affect stickiness through an intermediate variable satisfaction which are system quality, information quality, brand awareness, and enthusiasm.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan  informasi  tentang pengaruh murbei (Morus  spp.) dan ulat sutera pcrsilangan (Bombyx  mori Linn.) terrhadap kualitas  ulat, kokon, dan serat  sutera. Parameter  yang diamati meliputi kualitas ulat, kokon, dan serat sutera. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap pola faktoral dengan dua faktor  yaitu:  M  (murbei persilangan) dan U (ulat sutera persilangan)     dan  senap perlakuan  terdiri  dari tiga ulangan. Analisis   statistik menunjukkan bahwa murbei  persilangan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas  ulat, kokon, dan serat  sutera  jenis  NL 82A,  dan  Marus cathayana A. cenderung memberikan hasil yang baik. Sedangkan ulat sutera persilangan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas ular, tetapi tidak memberi pengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas kokon dan serat sutera dan belum ada jenis yang memberikan hasil yang baik. Kombinasi  antara murbei persilangan dan ulat sutera persilangan memberi pengaruh nyata pada rendemen pemeliharaan dan bobot  kokon. Kombinasi  MIU3 (murbei NI  dan ulat sutera HG 8) cenderung memberikan hasil yang baik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi sebuah Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang mempunyai database akademik yang real, sehingga memudahkan bagian akademik dalam mengelola nilai sesuai sistem yang ada serta dapat menghasilkan informasi yang akurat dan bermutu untuk menunjang proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Sistem Informasi Akademik dalam studi ini dikembangkan dengan metode RAD, yaitu metode pengembangan sistem informasi yang membutuhkan waktu yang relatif singkat. Dalam pengembangan sistem informasi yang normal biasanya memerlukan waktu minimal 60 hari, namun dengan menggunakan metode RAD, sistem dapat diselesaikan dalam waktu 30-60 hari. Tujuan utama menggunakan metode RAD adalah memberikan suatu sistem yang dapat memenuhi harapan dan kebutuhan dari user. Perancangan Dan Usability Evaluation Prototipe Sistem Informasi Akademik Menggunakan Metode RAD akan menggunakan konsep sistem database server yang mempunyai arsitektur Multitier yang terdiri dari Interface, Database Server dan Logic Server, sehingga sangat membantu dalam pengembangan sistem selanjutnya apabila terjadi perubahan regulasi atau aturan pada Akademi Ilmu Komputer (AIKOM) Ternate.Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Akademik, Rapid Application Development (RAD)Abstract: The objectives of this study are to develop and evaluate an Academic Information System Based on RAD that has a real academic database, thus facilitating the academic part in managing values according to the existing system and can produce accurate and quality information to support the process of implementing education. Academic Information System Using Rad (Rapid Application Development) developed with the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, RAD is a method of developing information systems that require a relatively short time. In the development of a normal information system, it usually requires a minimum of 60 days, but by using the RAD method, the system can be completed within 30-60 days. The main purpose of using the RAD method is to provide a system that can meet the expectations and needs of the user. Design and Usability Evaluation of the Academic Information System Prototype Using the RAD Method will use a database server system concept that has a Multitier architecture consisting of Interface, Database Server and Logic Server, so it is very helpful in developing the next system if there is a change in regulation or rules at the Computer Science Academy (AIKOM) Ternate.Keywords: Academic Information System, Rapid Aplication Development (RAD)

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan pijakan awal dalam memulai sebuah pembelajaran. pembelajaran pada anak usia dini tidak bisa lepas dari pola permainan. pemberian pembelajaran pada anak usia dini selama ini dilakukan secara konvensional. materi pembelajaran konvensional yang selama ini diajarkan terkesan membuat anak merasa bosan. hal ini memicu terbentuknya pola pembelajaran m-learning. dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi yang terdapat pada playstore Android penelitian ini mencoba menggali perbedaan kemampuan yang dimiliki anak  melalui prosedur experimen, dengan menggunakan dua metode pembelajaran yaitu metode konvensional dan metode m-learning. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membagi menjadi dua kelas, sebelum nantinya akan dilakukan pengujian pre-test dan post-test untuk dapat menbuktikan adanya pengaruh pembelajaran m-learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukan m-learning sangat berpengaruh terhadap  pembelajaran yang dibuktikan dengan adanya perbedaan hasil pengujian. dari hasil pengujian kemudian dibuatlah desain prototype yang sesuai untuk digunakan anak usia dini.

Abstract

E-Learning merupakan sebuah sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh yang bersifat elektronik yang menggunakan teknologi jaringan dan komputer. Banyak model pembelajaran e-Learning salah satunya menggunakan web conference Kualitas e-Learning dapat diukur menggukan medote webqual. Webqual merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas website berdasarkan pengguna akhir. Webqual disusun berdasarkan penelitian pada tiga dimensi, yaitu usability, information dan service interaction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui kualitas web conference sehingga dapat dijadikan media belajar mahasiswa serta mengetahui indikator yang paling berpengaruh dalam kualitas e-Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan 90 responden dan 22 pertanyaan dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil uji validitas didapatkan r hitung > dari r tabel serta uji reliabilitas didapatkan nilai alpha 0.807 yang lebih besar dari rtabel maka konsisensi kuisioner dinyatakan valid. Pada uji skala likert diketahui dimensi usability mendapat enam interpretasi puas, dimensi information mendapat empat interpretasi puas dan service interaction mendapat empat interpretasi puas. Indikator usability mendapakan yang tingkat interpretasi puas terbanyak. Sehingga dimensi usability berpengaruh positif kepada kepuasan pengguna

Abstract

Penentuan penerima beasiswa harus mempertimbangkan multifaktor sebagai penentu untuk memastikan bahwa pihak penerima memang layak mendapatkan beasiswa. Metode data mining untuk klasifikasi dapat digunakan untuk membantu meningkatkan kecepatan dan ketepatan dalam penentuan penerima beasiswa. Perbandingan kinerja algoritma C4.5 dan Naive Bayes bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi dan lama waktu proses (execution time) dari masing-masing algoritma untuk mendapatkan algoritma terbaik yang akan diterapkan dalam membantu proses penentuan penerima beasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder berupa daftar pemohon dan penerima beasiswa sebagai data set yang memiliki enam faktor penentu, yaitu semester, IPK, prestasi ko/ekstra kurikuler, penghasilan orang tua, beban biaya listrik dan jumlah tanggungan orang tua. Pengujian dengan 10-fold cross validation sekaligus evaluasi kinerja model menggunakan tool RapidMiner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat akurasi model algoritma C4. 5sebesar 96.40% lebih baik dari tingkat akurasi model algoritma Naive Bayes sebesar 95.11%, sedangkan waktu proses dari kedua model algoritma yang diteliti menunjukkan hasil 0 s. Hal ini disebabkan jumlah data set yang terlalu sedikit untuk dapat mengidentifikasi perbedaan waktu proses antar kedua model algoritma.Kata Kunci: klasifikasi data mining, C4.5, Naive Bayes
