Abstract

Undiknas Mobile is an application to facilitate students in carrying out their education. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with the addition of output quality and social influences this study aims to analyze the application of Undiknas Mobile through user intentions to continue using this system until they graduate from Undiknas University. This study is conducted by carrying a survey of 263 students at Undiknas university and use statistic descriptive as a technique of data analysis. The result of this study is the students have an intention to continue using Undiknas Mobile until they complete their study since they perceived the use and the ease of use of Undiknas Mobile. The output quality that is produced by Undiknas Mobile also accurate. In terms of social influences, it can be seen that only injunctive norm that can influence the users? intention to use Undiknas Mobile.

Abstract

Greenhouses provide not only solution to problems faced by conventional farming systems but also play an important role to improve the energy efficiency and environmentally friendly awareness. To achieve benefits of greenhouse farming system in terms of energy efficiency, research related to this issue have been done by many researchers. However, resources that concern on how to practically implement the particular energy-saving technology for greenhouses need to be improved. In this research, field experiment results related to low-power communication between nodes have been reported by implementing universal prototype modules. The pros and cons of existing communication technology, the proposed architecture of network and module analysis, and the performance evaluation of the proposed module dedicated to intelligent greenhouse farming system were also discussed.

Abstract

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) merupakan salah satu protokol routing dinamis. Kemampuan untuk saling bertukar informasi tabel routing antar Autonomous System (AS) merupakan salah satu keunggulan dari BGP. Dalam menentukan jalur routingnya, BGP menggunakan kebijakan dari administrator jaringan. Implementasi BGP sebagai routing protokol pada jaringan multihoming akan mempermudah untuk mendapatkan tabel routing dari AS yang berbeda. Sistem jaringan multihoming merupakan sistem jaringan komputer yang memiliki lebih dari satu jalan keluar menuju internet. Jaringan multihoming tidak hanya tergantung pada performa satu jalan keluar saja melainkan memiliki jalan keluar alternatif lainnya. Jika salah satu jalan keluar tersebut mengalami masalah maka masih terdapat jalan keluar lainnya yang menjaga jaringan tersebut tetap berfungsi.Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan jaringan multihoming pada jaringan komputer Fakultas Hukum Universitas Udayana dengan BGP sebagai routing protocolnya. Rancangan yang diimplementasikan berupa pembagian traffic yang menuju internet.Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa traffic yang menuju jaringan Indonesia Internet Exchange (IIX) melewati ISP sebagai jalan keluarnya. Traffic menuju jaringan lokal UNUD melewati GDLN Udayana sebagai jalan keluarnya. Setelah sistem ini diimplementasikan jaringan komputer Fakultas Hukum Universitas Udayana tidak sepenuhnya tergantung dengan GDLN untuk menuju internet.

Abstract

As biological image databases are growing rapidly, automated species identification based on digital data becomes of great interest for accelerating biodiversity assessment, research and monitoring. This research applied high performance computing (HPC) to a medicinal plant identification system. A parallel technique for medicinal plant image processing using Fuzzy Local Binary Pattern (FLBP) is proposed. The FLBP method extends the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) approach by employing fuzzy logic to represent texture images. The main goal of this research was to measure the efficiency of using the proposed parallel technique for medicinal plant image processing and evaluation in order to find out whether this approach is reasonable for handling large data sets. The parallel processing technique was designed in a message-sending model. 30 species of Indonesian medical plants were analyzed. Each species was represented by 48 leaf images. Performance evaluation was measured using the speed-up, efficiency, and isoefficiency of the parallel computing technique. Preliminary results show that HPC worked well in reducing the execution time of medical plant identification. In this work, parallel processing of training images was 7.64 times faster than with sequential processing, with efficiency values greater than 0.9. Parallel processing of testing images was 6.73 times faster than with sequential processing, with efficiency values over 0.9. The system was able to identify images with an accuracy of 68.89%.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, portabel online datalogger dirancang dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things. Sensor flowmeter dan sensor level sebagai pengukur debit air dikontrol oleh mikrokontroler ESP8266 untuk pembacaan dan pengolahan data. Data ini kemudian dikirimkan melalui koneksi WIFI ke router dan modem yang selanjutnya ditransmisi melalui jaringan seluler ke online server Blynk. Data di server dapat diakses oleh pengguna baik lewat web ataupun aplikasi smartphone. Sehingga, portabel online datalogger ini dapat digunakan untuk membuat database potensi aliran sungai untuk kepentingan desain pembangkit listrik mikrohidro.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe existence of virtual currency has made a disruption in banking and other financial sectors. This phenomenon is caused by blockchain technology in virtual currency, like Bitcoin that able to eliminate the centralization function in the server, in another word to eliminate the third-party function when doing a transaction. The strength that is possessed by virtual currency, i.e. the practicality of financial transaction that does not depend on the policy of any currency so it can be done anywhere and anytime attracts the Millennials to use virtual currency as a transaction tool. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior as a background, this study aims to find out the intention of the Millennials regarding the use of virtual. This study is conducted by carrying a survey to 400 respondents in Indonesia and use statistic descriptive as a technique of data analysis. Keunggulan yang dimiliki virtual currency, yaitu kepraktisan transaksi keuangan yang tidak terikat dengan aturan mata uang negara manapun sehingga dapat dilakukan dimanapun dan kapanpun tentu menjadi daya tarik bagi generasi millennial untuk menggunakan mata uang digital sebagai alat transaksi. Dengan menggunakan Theory of Planned Behavior sebagai landasan teori, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat generasi millennial terhadap penggunaan virtual currency. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei kepada 400 orang responden di seluruh Indonesia dan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah generasi millennial memiliki minat atau ketertarikan yang tinggi untuk bertransaksi maupun berinvestasi pada virtual currency.Kata Kunci: Teknologi Blockchain, Virtual Currency, Generasi Millennial, Theory of Planned Behavior

Abstract

Green technology has gained prominence this decade since the core of green technology preserves the resources and the environment while enhancing business sustainability. However, few pieces of research present literature reviews of the application of green technology for business despite its importance in providing the map of a conceptual framework for identifying research gaps, inconsistencies in prior studies, and the “state-of-the-art” snapshot domain for future research. The research contributed to the limited literature reviews regarding the application of green technology in business research by using a novel approach, which was bibliometric analysis. The research aimed to provide evidence of collaboration between authors and the most influential countries related to applying green technology for business research using co-authorship analysis. It also analyzed the knowledge structure of this topic and determined the primary and emerging issues through co-word analysis. Furthermore, the research performed the analysis of co-citation to identify the intellectual backbone of this research domain. On top of that, the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach was used to provide better accuracy in identifying and extracting the data for a bibliometric review. As the result, the research finds 735 journal articles related to green technology for business research from 1995 to 2020. In addition, four clusters are found to describe the current state of green technology for business research: environmental performance, circular economy, sustainable development, and climate policy. Then, research trend is also proposed to guide potential areas for further research to ascertain that the researchers have an inclusive insight on this topic.
