Abstract

This study aims to analyze directly and indirectly the service quality and hotel image on consumer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The location of this study is in several star hotels in Medan such as Graha Serela, Santika Premier Dyandra, Polonia, Grand Swiss-Bell, JW Marriot, Garuda Plaza, and Grand Aston City Hall Hotel. Populations in this study are guests who staying at a Starred Hotel in Medan in 2019, while the sample is determined as many as 215 consumers (hotel guests). Data answering techniques used are interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results of research show directly, the quality of service provided to Consumer Satisfaction, Service Quality affect on Customer Loyalty, Hotel Image against Consumer Satisfaction, Hotel Image affect Customer Loyalty and Consumer Satisfaction against Customer Loyalty. Directly, the service quality and hotel image of customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Simultaneous Total Asset Turnover on Return on Assets. The research approach used in this study is an associative approach. The population in this study is the cosmetics and household goods sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2017, amounting to 6 companies. The sampling technique in this study was determined by purposive sampling, so for the withdrawal of samples in this study there were 5 companies in the cosmetic and household goods sub-sector. Data analysis techniques in this study used multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Current ratio has no significant effect on Return On Assets. Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant effect on Return On Assets. Total Asset Turnover has no significant effect on Return On Assets. Simultaneously the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover simultaneously is a significant influence on Return on Assets

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of Liquidity and Capital Structure on Profitability Plastics and Packaging Company in the period of 2006-2011 in IDX either partial or simultant. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination. Processing of the data in this study using the program SPSS 16.0 for Windows software. Based on the results of this study concluded that the Liquidity and Capital Structure variables simultaneously have a significant impact on profitability. While partially is liquidity has a significant influence on the profitability and capital structure has no significant effect on the profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-WOM on destination image, tourist satisfaction, and tourist loyalty. Analyze the influence of destination image on tourist satisfaction and loyalty, and analyze the effect of satisfaction on tourist loyalty. This research approach is an associative approach. The location of this study was conducted in the tourist destination of the Lake Toba Region in North Sumatra. The population in this study is domestic tourists. This population was chosen, because theoretically and empirically it has various characteristics that are appropriate to the topic and purpose of the study. While the sample size is 145 tourists. Data collection techniques are a list of questions and interviews. The analytical method used in this study is the Structural Equation Model with data processing using the Lisrel 8.0 computer program. The results showed that E-WOM affected Destination Image, Tourist Satisfaction, and Tourist Loyalty, Destination Image influenced Tourist Satisfaction and Tourist Loyalty and Tourist Satisfaction influenced Tourist Loyalty.

Abstract

 The objective of the research was to find out and to analyze to what extent the influence of service marketing mix and service quality on students’ satisfaction in Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, UMSU. The type of the research was an explanatory study. The result of the research showed that service marketing mix which consisted of product, location, process, people, physical evidence, and service quality which consisted of direct evidence, reliability, response, security, and empathy simultaneously had positive influence on students’ satisfaction, while the cost for education had negative influence.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a Brand Loyalty Improvement Model Based on Brand Satisfaction and Self Congruity of Iphone Users in Medan City. The population in this study were iPhone users in Medan City. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling, while the sample was set at 125 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews (Interview) and a list of questions (Questionaire). The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model method. The results showed that Actual Self affects Brand Satisfaction, Actual Self affects Brand Loyalty, Ideal Self affects Brand Satisfaction, Ideal Self affects Brand Loyalty, Brand Satisfaction affects Brand Loyalty. Brand Satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of Actual Self on Brand Loyalty and Brand Satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of Ideal Self on Brand Loyalty.

Abstract

Purpose The purpose of this research is to formulate a measurement model of Emotional Exhaustion for non-permanent lecturers with SEM-PLS at Private Islamic Higher Education (PTAIS) in North Sumatra.Methodology The research population is all non-permanent lecturers of Private Islamic Higher Education (PTAIS) in North Sumatra. To determine the sample size, Maximum Likelihood estimation is used in the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Therefore, based on the need for researchers to use data analysis techniques using the Structural Equation Model and also because later the maximum likelihood estimation technique will be used which requires a sample size of 100-200 samples, the researcher will take a sample of 100-200 non-permanent lecturers. The analytical method used is SEM-PLS analysis.Findings The results showed that there was a significant effect of Role Conflict on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant effect of Self Efficacy on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant effect of Emotional Exhaustion on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant effect of Role Conflict on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant effect of Self Efficacy on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Job Satisfaction. There is no significant effect of Leadership on Job Satisfaction through Emotional Exhaustion. There is no significant effect of Role Conflict on Job Satisfaction through Emotional Exhaustion. And there can be no significant effect of Self efficacy on Job Satisfaction through Emotional ExhaustionOriginality/Novelty The research model uses five (5) variables and applies the concept of mediation, where each relationship in the research model is analyzed by SEM-PLS.Implications This study has shown that Emotional Exhaustion does not have a mediating effect on the influence of leadership, self-efficacy and role conflict on job satisfaction. Starting from the results of this study, the recommendation for further research is to try to analyze or use the Emotional Exhaustion variable as an independent variable, not as a mediating variable.

Abstract

 The objective of the research was to determine the effect of Organizational Culture and Performance on Motivation work in PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk Medan. The population in this study were all permanent employees in the PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara in the Public Service, Finance, and Human Resources. Data were obtained by questionnaire from 100 respondents, using sampling techniques and in test valitidity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used classical assumption, Multiple Regression, T test, F test and determination.The results show that the Organizational Culture and Motivation significant or positive effect on Performance of partial employees and simultaneously significantly influence employee performance variables, and motivation variables have the most impact.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the Current Ratio, Debt to Assets Ratio and Working Capital Turnoveron Return On Assets in plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study is all plastic and packaging company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange while the sample that meets the criteria for sampling observations carried out for seven years and as many as six yearsplastic and packaging company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research approach uses associative research.Data collection techniques in this study using documentation techniques. cand the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the independent variables in this study had a simultaneous effect on Return On Assets. While the partial test proves the Cuirrent Ratio variable has a significant effect on Return On Assets, while partially proves the Debt to Assets Ratio variable andWorking Capital Turnover does not have a positive effect on Return On Assets in plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The implementation of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to provide guidance and assistance to partners of micro handicraft entrepreneurs in implementing and implementing internet marketing as a means of business promotion to improve competitiveness and be able to manage business management that has an impact on expanding market aspects. This PKM program is held in 12 (twelve) months. The stages in implementing this PKM begin with Preparation, Direct Practice, Self-training, Implementation, Evaluation, and Development. The approach method used is the Learning Needs Based Method, Learning Goals and Objective, and Participant Center. The results achieved at this PKM are that Partners already have an Online Shop Website, scientific publications in community service journals, Publications on mass media / online, increased understanding, and business management skills and internet marketing, increased competitiveness, increased science, and technology in society and improved governance community value in the form of peace.
