Abstract

Eksplorasi sumber daya konvensionai untuk pembangkittenaga listrik dirasakan sudah tidak dapat memenuhi jumlahkebutuhan tenaga listrik yang makin meningkat tajam. Tahur»yang lalu (1992), Perusahaan Listrik Negara, sudah sulit memenuhipermintaan sambungan listrik para konsumen. PembangunanJangka Panjang Tahap II mengisyaratkan proses industrialisasiakan diprioritaskan. Dan untuk menopang ha~tersebut, tersedianya jumlah energi listrik yang cukup danhandal mutlak diperlukan. Saat ini pemerintah berupaya menc~ri sumber daya alam alternatif; salah satunya Uranium.Uranium sebagai bahan baku Pusat Listrik TenagaNuklir (PLTN) merupakan sumber claya a1am yang mempunyaiaspek menguntungkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energilistrik yang makin meningkat,' dan sekaligus mempunyai aspekyang merugikan karena ancaman radioaktif yang dapat memusnahkanmanusia dan makhluk lain di sekitarnyi:L. Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the level of employability skills of students of State Vocational Schools in Palu City. This type of research is a type of survey that is to describe the attitudes, behaviors, and opinions of students' research employability skills using a quantitative deskriptive approach, then the results of data analysis are described qualitatively, then presented in graphs, diagrams, tables, mean, modes, medians, standard deviation and variant. The population in this study was 1,275 students with a study sample of 295 students. The data collection technique used is using a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the level of employability skills of vocational students in Palu is generally categorized as very high. The high level of employability skills of students in the State Vocational School in Palu should be a supporting factor for students to get decent work and in accordance with their competency skills so that stakeholders, especially the school must really use it well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi: (1) Prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Rancangan Pendidikan dan pembelajaran, (2) Prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Profesi Keguruan, (3) Prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Interaksi Pembelajaran, dan (4) Prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Rancangan Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran, Profesi Keguruan, dan Interaksi Pembelajaran terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa PPL Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian expost facto yang menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 mahasiswa yang sedang melaksanakan PPL dan 32 dijadikan sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda. Variabel terikat (Y) dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi mahasiswa PPL, sedangkan variabel bebas (X) adalah prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Rancangan Pendidikan dan pembelajaran (X1 ), prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Profesi Keguruan (X2 ), dan prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Interaksi Pembelajaran (X3 ). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Rancangan Pendidikan dan pembelajaran berkontribusi positif terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa; (2) prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Profesi Keguruan berkontribusi positif terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa; (3) prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Interaksi Pembelajaran berkontribusi positif terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa. (4) prestasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Rancangan Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran, Profesi Keguruan, dan Interaksi Pembelajaran secara bersama-sama berkontribusi positif terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa. THE CONTRIBUTION OF EDUCATIONAL SUBJECT TO THE COMPETENCY IN PPL OF THE STUDENTS OF EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING AND PLANNING, UNMAbstractThis study aims to reveal the contribution of: (1) education plans and learning subject, (2) teaching profession subject, (3) teaching and interaction subject, and (4) education plans and learning subject, teaching profession and learning interaction subjects together to the competence of the field work students of the Education Department of Civil Engineering and Planning, State University of Makassar.This research is an ex post facto study using the quantitative analysis. The research was conducted in the South Sulawesi Province. The population was 35 students of who did the field work, and 32 student of them as the research sample. The date were collected through questionnaires and observation. The analysis of the data used the regression analysis. The dependent variable (Y) in this study was students’ competence in the field work, while the independent variable (X) was their achievement of education plans and learning subject (X1 ), their achievement of teaching profession subject (X2 ), and their achievement of the learning interaction subject (X3 ).The results of this study show that : (1) The students’ achievement of the education plans and learning subject contribute positively to their competence; (2) The students’ achievement of the teaching profession subject contributes positively to their competence; (3) The students’ achievement of the learning interactions subject contributes positively to their competence; (4) The students’ achievement of teaching and learning subject, teaching profession subject, and learning interactions subject together contribute positively to their

Abstract

The competencies of vocational high school (VHS) graduates, especially in terms of character have not met its standards. This study aims to develop a character-based assessment model for VHS in the form of a guide and procedure. Borg Gall’s (1989) model with the following stages was utilized: (1) needs analysis, (2) planning, (3) development, (4) phase I trial, (5) phase II trial, (6) evaluation of model effectiveness, and (7) final product development. This study involved some experts in the model validation. Trials were done to teachers and principals in eight VHSs in Yogyakarta Special Province, Indonesia in 2017 (first trial), and those from 42 VHSs throughout Java island, Indonesia in 2018 (second trial). Data were collected by questionnaires and interviews and analysed by quantitative and qualitative descriptive statistics. This study suggest that, overall, the model is appropriate and feasible to use, proven by (1) the assessment guide is categorized as ‘very appropriate’ (Mean 3.55; SD .52); (2) assessment procedure achieves an ‘very appropriate’ category (Mean = 3.60; SD = .51); and (3) effectiveness of the assessment model in trial 1 is in the ‘very appropriate’ category (Mean 3.43, and SD .51), and in trial 2 is in the ‘appropriate’ category (Mean 3.38, SD .53).

Abstract

This study was aimed at exploring an effective and proper MOOC model which is in line with the learning need of Indonesian society, especially in pandemic era. This study was conducted by employing Content Analysis in IndonesiaX and sekolahpintar.com platforms. The data obtained were analysed by identifying the differences and the similarities of each MOOC. The results show that a good MOOC model such as IndonesiaX has a more structured presentation of content, videos with fresh visuals and excellent evaluation. The questions presented also not only measure low order thinking skills, but also present high order thinking skills questions that are not available at SekolahPintar.com. An effective MOOC model must meet the CDT (Component Display Theory) and dimensions of effective online learning, be able to motivate students to learn independently and be able to create student involvement in collaborative discussions. The motivation is more effective if it is continuously aroused by delivering proper strategies, which is in line with the need.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul berbasis proyek yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (RD) menggunakan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Proses pengembangan meliputi produksi e-modul, validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Desain uji coba produk terdiri dari uji coba tahap awal kepada 7 siswa, uji coba lapangan skala kecil kepada 15 siswa, dan uji coba lapangan skala besar dengan melakukan praeksperimental kepada 32 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala analisis kebutuhan, skala kelayakan e-modul oleh para ahli, skala motivasi belajar, dan skala respons pengguna. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis proyek yang dihasilkan pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis sangat layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa SMK pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis.PROJECT-BASED E-MODULE DEVELOPMENT TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOLThis study was aimed at developing a project-based e-module that is feasible and effective to improve student motivation in the Basic Graphic Design subject. This was a research and development research study using ADDIE (Analiyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation) model. The development process included the production of the e-modules, the validation by material and media experts, product trials, and product revisions. The product trial design consisted of an initial pilot test of 7 students, a small-scale field trial of 15 students, and a large-scale field trial by pre-experimental 32 students. The data collection instruments were the scale of needs analysis, eligibility of the e-modules by experts, learning motivation, and user responses. The data analysis technique was descriptive technique. The results show that the project-based e-module produced is feasible and effective to be used to increase the motivation of vocational student learning in the Basic Graphic Design subjects.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tantangan dan permasalahan abad kedua puluh satu ini, pendidikan tinggi memiliki peran yang sangat strategis. Mata kuliah Skripsi dapat berperan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan guna menghadapi tantangan dan masalah yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses pembimbingan skripsi dari perspektif teori pembelajaran orang dewasa, hambatan dan upaya yang dilakukan mahasiswa dan dosen dalam proses penulisan skripsi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sebagai sampel adalah mahasiswa yang sudah menyelesaikan penulisan skripsi, dan dosen pembimbing. Keduanya diambil secara purposif. Jumlah responden adalah 190 orang mahasiswa dan 53 orang dosen. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket. Data yang diperoleh melalui angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) proses pembimbingan cenderung sudah menggunakan prinsip pembelajaran orang dewasa, yang lebih menekankan pada proses belajar mandiri; (2) hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi substansi dan metode penelitian, kemampuan bahasa asing, psikologis, dan kelengkapan sumber referensi; dan (3) upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan meliputi peningkatan motivasi diri, berusaha sendiri dan pemberian kesempataan dosen pada mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. EVALUATION OF UNDERGRADUATE THESIS MENTORING PROCESS IN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI YOGYAKARTA BASED ON ADULT LEARNING PERSPECTIVEAbstractIn facing the twenty-first century’s challenges and problems, higher education plays a very strategic role. Undergraduate thesis can contribute in developing the ability to address the challenges and problems. This study aims at evaluating the process of mentoring through the lens of adult learning theory by looking at the students’ and lecturers’ obstacles and efforts in the process of thesis writing among college students. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a purposively selected sample of 190 students who have completed their thesis writing, and 53 supervisors. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed descriptively in percentages. The results show that: (1) the process of mentoring tends to have used the principle of adult learning with more emphasis on self-directed learning; (2) the encountered obstacles include research substance and methods, foreign language abilities, psychological factors, and reference sources; and (3) some activities done to overcome the obstacles include improving self-motivation, self-effort, and providing opportunities for the students to consult their problems to the lecturer.

Abstract

ABSTRACT:This study aims to determine the conformity between learning objectives with basic competencies. This research is a document analysis research. The subject of this research is the lesson plan of electric power installation engineering teachers in basic electricity and electronics subjects in vocational high schools in Yogyakarta. Data collection used document observation sheets that were filled in by instructional design experts. Document observation sheets were validated through expert judgments and did the reliability test using Cohen Kappa. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results of the conformity between the design of learning objectives and basic competencies are classified according to the indicated percentage of mean value of 65.03%.ABSTRAK:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keselarasan tujuan pembelajaran dengan kompetensi dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis dokumen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) guru teknik instalasi tenaga listrik pada mata pelajaran dasar listrik dan elektronika SMK di Kota Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan dokumen yang diisi oleh ahli desain instruksional. Lembar pengamatan dokumen divalidasi melalui expert judgements dan reliabilitas diuji dengan Cohen Kappa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian keselarasan desain tujuan pembelajaran dengan kompetensi dasar tergolong sesuai dengan penunjukkan persentase nilai rerata sebesar 65,03%.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the assessment system of the students’ learning outcomes in the basic courses of engineering at Electrical Engineering Education Program, Faculty of Engineering UNY. The investigation included the aspects of planning, implementation, and outcomes. This was an evaluation study which employed a countenance-stake evaluation model. Its main concern was the assessment system of students’ learning outcomes in engineering basic courses at Electrical Engineering Education Program, Faculty of Engineering UNY, including the aspects of planning (antecedent), implementation (transaction), and outcomes (outcomes). The results showed that: (1) the antecedent aspect was noticeably quite good, (2) the transaction aspect was categorized as good and quite good by the lecturers and the students respectively, (3) the outcomes aspect was categorized as quite good both by the lecturers and the students.
