Abstract

This study aims to figure out the effect of using Histogram Equalization and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) in detecting facial keypoints, which can be applied for 3D facial reconstruction in face recognition. Four combinations of methods comprising of Histogram Equalization, removing low-frequency coefficients using Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and using five feature detectors, namely: SURF, Minimum Eigenvalue, Harris-Stephens, FAST, and BRISK were used for test. Data that were used for test were obtained from Head Pose Image and ORL Databases. The result from the test were evaluated using F-score. The highest F-score for Head Pose Image Dataset is 0.140 and achieved through the combination of DCT & Histogram Equalization with feature detector SURF. The highest F-score for ORL Database is 0.33 and achieved through the combination of DCT & Histogram Equalization with feature detector BRISK.

Abstract

Abstract

Computer needs at work are very helpful and make easier for human to complete his work. The usageof laptops growing rapidly with increasing mobility of the community who uses laptop to run the activities. In addition, laptop continues to update its technology with the variation of the specification so that it can attract the interest of consumers, especially for students, but the variety of laptops is confusing for some users to choose. Based on a survey that has been done to the students, it concluded that laptop is 80% more interesting than desktop computer. Some students really need a recommendation system for choosing alaptop. In making a recommendation system, using TOPSIS method is the recommended one because the concept is simple, easy to understand, efficient, and have the ability to measure the relative performance of alternatives decision. According to the implementation, the recommendation system with TOPSIS method has 70% accuracy rate. Abstract

The Korean language is one of the most enthused language these days, mainly caused by the Hallyu wave. In traditional language learning techniques, flashcards are often used to help memorize simple syllables. Nowadays, online flashcards are used as a replacement for the traditional flashcards, which are proven to be more effective in many ways. However, the lack of use of appropriate methods to learn a new language will result in slower learning process. Therefore, by implementing a suitable method such as the Leitner method to an online flashcard will improve the learning process. The Leitner method sets aside the questions that can be answered easily and allows users to focus on questions that cannot be recalled consistently by distributing a set of questions in five different sections. Every question that can be answered by the user is moved to the next compartment, where the question will be repeated after a specified period of time. System usability scale is used to measure the usability of the application. This application has been successfully designed and built using the Leitner method to give the user the suitable interval of time for learning with flashcards and achieved a system usability scale score of 82,5. Abstract

Employees are an important factor in the progress of a company. Employees with good performance will certainly provide positive results for the company. One that can determine employee performance is the right placement in the job. To find out the right placement in a job, one way can be done psychologically. Psikotes can help to know the nature of an employee and suitable work based on their nature. The construction of a job recommendation application system was created to help prospective employees know their true identity and suitable work so that they can apply according to their expertise. This system is built with the programming language PHP, Javascript, HTML for web-based platforms and the KNN algorithm as the method. The KNN algorithm is used to measure the closest distance between training data and test data to produce job recommendations. Training data is taken from expert, and book references. System trials are given to users by filling in psychological tests and questionnaires regarding the satisfaction of system use. After getting feedback from users, the value of system satisfaction reached 85%. This states that the system can provide job recommendations that are in accordance with the psychological test results of the user.

Abstract

Administrative services are a routine activity carried out by village and/or sub-district offices andallow for mobility and crowding of residents which should be avoided during the current pandemic.The administrative service procedure requires a series of approvals from the head of the RT, headof the RW, the apparatus and the head of the village/kelurahan so it takes time. Administrativeservices will be very good if they can be carried out electronically using devices that are commonlyowned by citizens such as smart cell phones so that they can be carried out faster, complying withrecommendations to avoid mobility and crowds and the slogan "stay at home" can be implemented.The stages of community service activities carried out started from needs analysis and systemdesign using the waterfall model development method. This activity will be continued at theimplementation stage so that it can be used widely for the community. The development andinstallation of village administration service applications is planned to be based on Android withcentralized data in the cloud. The system design is then verified and validated by a number of users,especially from the kelurahan because those parties are the ones who know the existing serviceprocess. The verification test states that the service process is in accordance with what is neededand the validation test states that the design is in accordance with the user's needs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa/siswi MA Raudatul Irfan dalam penggunaan MS.Office, terutama MS.Word. Peningkatan kemampuan siswa/siswi akan meningkatkan peluang mereka untuk memasuki jenjang pendidikan lebih tinggi dan dunia kerja. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama dua hari dimulai dari pagi jam 8.00 WIB sampai selesai. Banyaknya jumlah siswa/siswi yaitu berjumlah 80 orang ditambah staf dan guru sebanyak 10 orang, maka untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dalam pelatihan di laboratorium Kampus UMN, peserta dibagi dua kelompok sebanyak 40 orang untuk setiap kelasnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah demontrasi dan contoh. Pada awal sesi peserta akan diperkenalkan pada komputer, sistem operasi, dan MS.Office, kemudian diakhiri dengan evaluasi dan latihan. Dengan mengikuti pelatihan ini, siswa/siswi akan meningkat kemampuannya dalam menggunakan komputer terutama MS.Office dengan tujuan utama membuat surat dan laporan menggunakan MS.Word. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini berlangsung dengan lancar dan baik, dan hasil latihan/evaluasi yang baik dengan rata-rata indeks prestasi 2,7 dari skala 1-4

Abstract

Indonesia is one country that has a relatively large population . The government in the period of 5 years, annually hold a procurement program 1 million FLPP house units. This program is held in an effort to provide a decent home for low income people. FLPP housing development requires good precision and speed of development on the part of the developer, this is often hampered by the bank process, because it is difficult to predict the results and speed of data processing in the bank. Knowing the ability of consumers to get subsidized credit, has many advantages, among others, developers can plan a better cash flow, and developers can replace consumers who will be rejected before entering the bank process. For that reason built a system that can help developers. There are many methods that can be used to create this application. One of them is data mining with Classification tree. Abstract

In optimizing a website, web owners are required to write articles that relate to the keywords and put into the website. Therefore is needed a keyword density plugin app to calculate keywords and suggest an article content writer to add or subtract keywords in the article. The keyword density counter is an app that counts keywords in an article. The results obtained from this application is the ratio of keywords to existing words of the pages of websites or articles. The benefits of using keyword density counters are content writers becoming aware that articles already have enough density, according Google's recommendation keywords density is 2-3% of article, then the article will give a signal to search engines. Results obtained is the same for validation plugin calculations after. Compared to other similar plugins. Keyword density counters have been created with 50.85% faster than other similar plugins. Abstract

Companies that produce products must be able to regulate the amount of production so that it have plan production. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to predict the amount of production. This research aims to create an application that is useful in determining the amount of production. These applications using genetic algorithms and neural network. Genetic algorithm is used to optimize the weights in the neural network. From the test results, this application uses network with 12 inputs, 5 neuron in first hidden layer, 3 neurons in the second hidden layer, and 3 neurons in the last hidden layer. Then for the genetic algorithm parameters used were 10 individuals, 50 generations, crossover probability 0.8 and mutations probability 0.1. Based on the test results, this application has the forecasting’s accuracy rate reaches 86%. Keyword : forecasting, production forecasting, genetic algorithm neural network, optimization.
