Abstract

Accreditation is an evaluation to ensure the quality of a study program at higher education by completing two main documents for qualitative data and self-evaluation, namely Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self Evaluation Report (LED) respectively. Data used for this process must be consistent and accurate, therefore a central repository is proposed. A data warehouse for the domain of Research and Community Service is built using the snowflake schema and a five-step approach methodology proposed for the educational data warehouse. The schema consisted of one fact table, ten dimension tables, and four bridge tables. Using a business intelligence tool, data from the data warehouse is queried and provided in a dashboard. The data warehouse successfully returned the qualitative data needed for LKPS. As for the evaluation data for LED, the data warehouse is able to fulfill seven out of ten requirements. The data for the remaining three are provided with a slightly different orientation to the requirement, this was due to the data source.

Abstract

At the beginning of every semester, students register for their classes resulting in KRS (student study plan) and at the end of the semester, they will receive KHS (academic transcript). KRS and KHS are recorded into the university’s system to be used for different kinds of analysis including strategic planning and accreditation. The purpose of this research is to create a dashboard to visualize data from KRS and KHS based on several Key Indicator Performance (KPI) using goal-directed design method. Performance metrics method is used to evaluate the user interface of the dashboard with 71% binary success. User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is also used to evaluate user experience showing scores of 1.96, 1.93, 1.77, 1.88 and 1.86 for attraction, stimulation, novelty, clarity and efficiency, respectively. These scores can be translated using the Comparison to Benchmark Scale table which shows good for both clarity and efficiency, and excellent for attraction, stimulation and novelty.

Abstract

Traditional markets in the city of Yogyakarta offer many unique things for both locals and tourists. There has yet to be an effort to centralise information on traditional markets which highlights its characteristics, including its uniqueness. Through this study, we designed a REST API that provides a service to access information on traditional markets in the city of Yogyakarta. The information available includes class, alternative names, location, description, history, facts, facilities, uniqueness, photos, and stalls. This service can be used by governments or other parties through external applications ensuring data accuracy. We used an incremental approach made of three iterations. Each iteration consisted of needs analysis, system design, API development, and testing and evaluation. This approach provided a more focused and targeted development based on the functional needs of each iteration. Each iteration was tested both on Postman and a web application. The result of this REST API is a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) which can be easily processed by external applications.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that supplies automotive spare parts with a complex business workflow. One project consists of several jobs involving a series of steps and different sections of the department. In this study, we developed a web-based project tracking system using rapid application development based on a set of user requirements. The system was tested using black box testing which indicated success in response to its functionality. The result successfully provided employees the means to select a job according to their order, upload files, write notes, and pass the job to the next section when done. For Inspection and Assembly, the testing showed success for returning jobs to Design when revisions were required. Assembly was also able to declare project completion when every job has been fully executed by its respective sections. Every stage of the project was successfully recorded which provided information on the progress of each project to the management. Furthermore, our testing also found the system to be capable of providing a facility for customer to track the progress and duration of their project anywhere and anytime by entering a project code.

Abstract

Badan Promosi Pariwisata Kota Yogyakarta (BP2KY) dibentuk dengan tujuan mengembangkan promosi pariwisata di Kota Yogyakarta. Sebuah situs profil yang resmi dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi masyarakat terkait promosi pariwisata di Kota Yogyakarta sekaligus untuk meningkatkan pemasaran digital dan pembentukan kehadiran digital atau digital presence. Artikel ini membahas pembangunan situs resmi BP2KY menggunakan content management system (CMS) Wordpress. Website dibangun melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu focus group discussion (FGD), data gathering, perancangan, implementasi, evaluasi, dan pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa sebuah situs profil yang mengandung informasi tujuan serta peran BP2KY, profil pengurus BP2KY, informasi tempat wisata di Yogyakarta, dan berita terkini. Situs tersebut dapat diakses pada https://bp2ky.or.id/. Pengujian situs dilakukan dengan user experience questionnaire (UEQ) yang disebarkan untuk melihat pengalaman pengunjung. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan evaluasi positif untuk daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi, ketepatan, stimulasi, dan kebaruan dengan nilai di atas 0.8. Sedangkan hasil benchmarking UEQ menunjukkan hasil “excellent” untuk daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi dan stimulasi, serta “good” untuk ketepatan dan kebaruan. Pelatihan untuk pengurus BP2KY juga dilakukan agar situs memiliki kontinuitas

Abstract

Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters, from earthquakes to annual flood. These can affect, and even at times, endanger people's lives. JAKOMKRIS PBI or the Christian community for disaster management in Indonesia has the duty to aid with Christian churches and institutions to actualize the concept of disaster-resilient church. One of the ways that can help JAKOMKRIS PBI's main goal is to create a website-based dashboard displaying information related to the concept of disaster-resilient church. This research applies the principles of User-Centered Design which in its development focuses on the user. User-Centered Design requires information about the appearance of the interface desired by the user. The results of the research are expected to be able to assist users in preparing churches for disaster events by providing provisions and disaster risk reduction based on managed data. This research uses usability tests using performance metrics and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. The performance metrics test results for the efficiency value of 90.95% for the user role and 100% for the admin role, while the effectiveness value is 96% for the user role and 100% for the admin role and the results of the System Usability Scale (SUS) test are 81.5 for the user role and 81.25 for admin roles.

Abstract

Salah satu syarat kelulusan kuliah adalah lulus skripsi. Pada skripsi, mahasiswa perlu menentukan topik skripsi. Penentuan topik adalah hal yang penting pada skripsi, karena topik yang tepat akan mengurangi kendala dalam membuat skripsi [1]. Penulis melakukan analisa terhadap persentase nilai E pada nilai mata kuliah seminar dan skripsi. Hasil analisis menunjukan terdapat 21.6% dari 351 mahasiswa seminar yang mendapat nilai E dan 61.25% dari 240 mahasiswa yang belum dapat lulus skripsi. Hal tersebut menunjukan mahasiswa belum siap mengerjakan skripsi. FTI UKDW (Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana) ingin membuat sistem rekomendasi topik skripsi agar mahasiswa dapat memilih topik skripsi dengan tepat. Hasil penelitian, menunjukan sistem rekomendasi topik skripsi dapat dibuat menggunakan kombinasi K-Means++, cosine similarity, dan LDA Gibbs sampling. Sistem diimplementasikan pada framework Laravel.
