Abstract

Mint is a plant that has many benefits and uses. However, some people are not familiar with the types of mint leaves because they cannot tell the difference. Actually, if you look closely, mint leaves have their own characteristic shape and texture. However, most people judge mint leaves to have a shape similar to other leaves so it is difficult to tell them apart. This paper aims to classify the types of mint leaves using the Euclidean distance algorithm and K-Means clustering with shape and texture feature extraction. The K-Means Clustering Algorithm functions as a segmentation so that the image to be classified can be separated from other objects. In the feature extraction process, metric and eccentricity parameters are used. Meanwhile, for texture feature extraction, use the parameters in the Gray Level Co-occurence Matrix (GLCM). Furthermore, the classification process uses the Euclidean Distance algorithm which has a function to represent the level of similarity between two images by taking into account the distance value from the identified image. Based on the results of the evaluation using a confusion matrix by calculating precision, recall and accuracy, the precision value is 82%, recal is 84% ​​and accuracy is 83%.

Abstract

To connect to the internet, a device must have an internet connection via an internet network, one of which is through a wireless network or what is called Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi). On a Wi-Fi network there is a Wi-Fi router that is used to provide a connection to the internet network, but the signal from the WI-FI router is limited. Then the Wi-Fi signal needs to be strengthened with a signal booster known as a Wi-Fi Repeater or Wi-Fi Extender. Wi-Fi Repeaters are important devices for individuals, agencies and companies so that the desired areas get internet connection. So, to make a purchase of this product, foresight is needed so that the device chosen is right and in accordance with the needs. The large selection of Wi-Fi Repeater products on the market results in a person having to find information in advance regarding the specifications of the Wi-Fi Repeater product to be purchased. This has an impact on the length of the process in making decisions. The purpose of this research is to implement the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method on a decision support system for choosing Wi-Fi Repeaters, so that it can make it easier for users to determine alternatives quickly and precisely. The CPI method is used to solve decision problems with a number of alternatives through a combined index to rank alternatives from several criteria. The results of the calculations in the case study produced the highest combined index value, namely the Asus N300 Range Extender (A2) getting a score of 125, then followed by Mercusys WiFi Extender (A1) getting a score of 92.5, Comfast WiFi Extender (A3) getting a score of 100 and Xiaomi Mi AC1200 (A4) get a value of 100. The calculation results of the CPI method obtained by the system obtain the same value as manual calculations, so the developed system is declared valid. In addition, based on tests using black-box testing, it shows that the system built can function as it should.

Abstract

Today's internet network is expanding quickly, which encourages consumers to connect to more server services. A reliable server system is required to handle these circumstances. One approach that can be taken is to implement multiple servers. However, using many servers affects the response time of the server to be able to serve requests. Improving server system services through the load balancing method needs to be balanced with analysis, testing and evaluation of the network architecture and algorithms used in order to produce an optimal server system. In order to determine the algorithm to be tested optimal response time value, this study compares and analyses the load balancing approach utilizing the least-connection algorithm and the round-robin algorithm. Based on the test results using a request value of 500 connections/second for 1000 requests and 600 connections/second for 1200 requests, the round-robin algorithm looks slightly better than the least-connection algorithm. However, in the test scenario for the value of 700 connections/second for 1400 requests, 800 connections/second for 1600 requests, and 900 connections/second for 1800 requests, the least-connection algorithm looks superior. So that the average response time of the least-connection algorithm is smaller when there is an increase in connections. This condition has an impact on the faster the server responds to requests from users so that server performance can be continuously improved.

Abstract

Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM) merupakan Lembaga Pemerintah Non Kementerian yang bertugas melaksanakan koordinasi kebijakan dan pelayanan di bidang penanama modal berdasarkan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan. Sebagai penghubung utama antara dunia usaha dan pemerintah, BKPM diberi mandat untuk mendorong investasi langsung, baik dari dalam negeri maupun luar negeri, melalui penciptaan iklim investasi yang kondusif. Saat ini dalam proses atau pekerjaan yang dilakukan di Direktorat Wilayah III untuk permasalahan-permasalahan yang dihadapi pelaku usaha belum didokumentasikan secara sistem, hanya dicatat dalam file tidak terstruktur atau tidak terintegrasi dalam Microsoft Excel sehingga menyulitkan dalam proses analisis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem fasilitasi permasalahan yang terjadi pada tiap pelaku usaha untuk dapat diinput oleh kepala seksi dan staf. Hasil yang dicapai penelitian ini diharapkan setiap permasalahan yang terjadi pada pelaku usaha dan dilaporkan ke Direktorat Wilayah III dapat dicatat secara terstruktur sehingga mudah dalam pencarian data dari proses permasalahan yang ada. Pengerjaan dimulai dengan membuat akun login untuk semua kepala seksi dan staf dilanjutkan dengan membuat inputan kolom apa saja yang terdapat pada sistem fasilitasi lalu membuat fitur lihat data, edit data dan hapus data. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan dirancang sistem fasilitasi proses kinerja di Direktorat Wilayah III dapat meningkat dan efisien.

Abstract

Dunia kesehatan yang telah berjalan dan tidak terlepas dengan penggunaan teknologi komputer dan teknologi informasi. Manajemen rumah sakit yang dahulunya dikelola secara tradisional telah dan saat ini menjadi otomatis berbantuan sistem informasi dalam mempercepat proses dan kinerja petugas dan dokter untuk memperoleh data medis. Tujuan penelitian ini merancang aplikasi manajemen rumah sakit MyHospital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi Pustaka, observasi dan pengembangan sistem menggunakan rancangan diagram Unified Modelling Language (UML) melalui model waterfall dalam menentukan alur data aplikasi. Hasil penelitian ini berupa aplikasi manajemen rumah sakit MyHospital menggunakan pemrograman java serta basis data MySQL yang digunakan untuk menunjang manajemen rumah sakit. Simpulan penelitian aplikasi dapat membantu pihak manajemen dalam mengelola rumah sakit khususnya pada rawat inap dan rawat jalan.
