Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how to compare student responses to the jigsaw and STAD learning models in science subjects at SMPN 34 Batanghari, SMPN 35 Batanghari, MTsN 5 Batanghari and MTsN 7 Batanghari and How are students' responses to the jigsaw and STAD learning model at SMPN 34 Batanghari , SMPN 35 Batanghari, MTsN 5 Batanghari and MTsN 7 Batanghari. This type of research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research by comparing 8 classes that use the jigsaw and STAD models in science learning. This research was carried out in 4 schools, namely 2 SMP and 2 MTs with 35 students in each class, the total number of students is 280 students . In data analysis using SPSS 26. Based on the results of the T test, namely the value of sig. (2-tailed < 0.05), it can be said that there is a difference between student responses with the Jigsaw and STAD learning models in science subjects in SMP/MTs .

Abstract

A set of syllabus and lesson plans of science chemistry charaterizing group investigation (GI) model andenvironment as learning resources for 7th-grade students of SMP has been developed. The development theproduct was intended to design an active and joyful instructional process for 7th-grade students of SMP inlearning science chemistry. The procedure of the development adopted Hannafin and Peck model that consists ofthree phases. This model was started with a need assessment and analysis (phase 1), then was designing process(phase 2), and finally development and implementation in a real teaching (phase 3). According to experts thedeveloped products are characterized by GI with environmental media. The result of research showed that theproducts could improve student’s activities in learning process.

Abstract

A suitable learning model is needed in learning science at the junior high school level. Educators need to be able to determine the appropriate learning model for learning activities. Therefore, this study aims to analyze student responses to jigsaw and STAD learning models in SMPN and MTsN and to compare student responses to jigsaw and STAD learning models in science subjects at SMPN and MTsN. This type of research is quasi-experimental quantitative research by comparing 8 classes that use the jigsaw and STAD models in science learning. This research was carried out in 4 schools, namely 2 SMP and 2 MTs with the number of students in each class of 35 students, the number of students being 280 students. In data analysis using SPSS 26. Based on the results of the T-test, namely the value of sig. (2-tailed <0.05) it can be said that there are differences in student responses to the Jigsaw and STAD learning models in science subjects in SMP/MTs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of science literacy ability of MTs learners in Jambi city based on Scientific Literacy Assessments (SLA) instruments. The research method used is quantitative method with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were students of MTs Negeri 2 Jambi city and MTs Laboratory UIN STS Jambi City. The study sampled 98 students. Based on the results of the study, the average achievement of science literacy ability of learners in the low category with a score of 50.01. Of the five aspects of science literacy, only one aspect is in the high theories, namely science motivation and beliefs with a score of 75.53, three aspects are in the low category, namely role of science with a score of 50.26, science and society with a score of 51.17 and mathematics in science with a score of 50.34 while the scientific thinking and doing aspect is in the very low category with a score of 27.78. In conclusion, the average literacy achievement of MTs learners with scientific literacy assessments (SLA) instruments in the low category. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dihasilkan dari pengembangan media mobile learning menggunakan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator (SAC) 3 pada materi turunan di kelas XI MIA; (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan media mobile learning secara teori dan praktis; (3) mendeskripsikan efektivitas dari media mobile learning. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dikembangkan media mobile learning berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis matematis dengan model pengembangan Lee dan Owens. Media ini divalidasi oleh ahli dan dinilai oleh guru kemudian diujicobakan pada siswa kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Kelayakan media pembelajaran mengacu kepada tiga aspek yaitu kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Kelayakan secara teori diperoleh dari validasi ahli, sedangkan kelayakan secara praktis diperoleh dari ujicoba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil angket penilaian guru diperoleh persentase 89%, ujicoba kelompok kecil 86% serta ujicoba kelompok besar dengan persentase 87,5%. Untuk melihat efektifitas media dilakukan pretest dan post test untuk melihat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media. Untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa digunakan uji n-gain. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain diperoleh hasil dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa media mobile learning layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.

Abstract

Aritmatika sosial adalah salah satu pokok bahasan yang dipelajari ditingkat SMP/MTS. Pokok bahasan aritmatika tersebut akan memberikan manfaat bagi siswa pada saat menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari pada masa yang akan datang. Walaupun pentingnya materi tersebut untuk dipelajari namun kebanyakan siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan materi aritmatika sosial, untuk itu diperlukan multimedia pembelajaran matematika model tutorial berbasis Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana proses dan hasil dari pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran matematika serta mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang dihasilkan menggunakan model tutorial dan berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi aritmatika Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan prosedur menurut Lee & Owens, yaitu assessment/Analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu produk Multimedia Pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menurut Lee & Owens dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif, hal ini berdasarkan hasil analisis data pretest dan posttest peserta didik dengan uji gain sebesar 0,536 dalam kriteria sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan sangat baik sehingga multimedia pembelajaran efektif untuk digunakan oleh guru dan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran pada materi aritmatika sosial

Abstract

The free learning-campus program (MB-KM) contained in SN-Dikti 2020, is very relevant to the demands of 21st century education in order to address the challenges of learning in the global era. The MB-KM program provides opportunities for students to master various fields of science, develop creativity, capacity and other competencies related to the needs of the world of work. The results of the needs analysis show that there are still four competencies that have not been maximally mastered by students, namely: school management competencies, analytical thinking, technological novelty and science behavior with an average of 51.75%, while the other three competencies: pedagogical competence, high school chemistry science, and DIGITAL LEARNING IT competence have been very good with an average of 80.20%. Against the background, this was conducted research on the Development of Rational-Creative Performance Technology Training Model for Chemistry Education Students. This research is educational development research (Borg & Gall: 2007). The characteristic of this training model is in the form of Merdeka Learning Teacher Mover for school education. The MODEL ID used to design this training model is adapting the modified ASSURE model, while the Rational-Creative Performance Technology Training Model was developed by Zurweni & Affan Malik (2020). The results showed that the Rational-Creative Performance Technology Training Model has four synths: Innovation Intervention Orientation, Rational Exploration, Rational Technology Training and Evaluation. Evaluation and validation results and trials state that the Rational-Creative Performance Technology Training Model falls into the category of good, with field trials have not been successfully implemented due to the covid-19 pandemic. It was concluded that this Rational-Creative Performance Technology Training Model is worth using and is a new breakthrough as an alternative to enrichment in the debriefing of students who follow the PLP Program to partner schools. It is recommended to use this training model at the level of the Study Program as well as at the student debriefing enrichment session before following the introduction of the school field.

Abstract

The researcher conducted the research to determine the effect of implementing the problem-based learning model based on local wisdom on the students’ communication and critical thinking ability. This type of research was quasi-experimental using a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control design. The research population was students of class XI science Senior High School 5 Jambi City with a sample of two classes, namely the experimental and control classes. The researcher used the data collected using a test instrument measuring students’ written communication and critical thinking. The researcher used the observation sheet instrument to measure students’ oral communication. Data analysis techniques are descriptive and inferential to test the hypothesis. Inferential analysis using independent sample t-test, paired t-test and manova test. The results of the descriptive analysis of the average pretest using 33.06 and 29.33 test questions in the experimental class while the control class on each test item is 31.71 and 24.65. The average results of post-test scores after implementing the problem-based learning model based on local wisdom on written communication and critical thinking were 59.07 and 57.06 in the experimental class, while in the control class 44.68 and 35.19. The inferential analysis of the problem-based learning model based on local wisdom has a good influence on oral, written communication and critical thinking. There are differences in students’ communication and critical thinking using a problem based learning model based on local wisdom showing good results. There is a simultaneous influence on oral, written and critical thinking communication skills by implementing a problem based learning model based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hasil kelayakan permainan kecil yang dikembangkan berupa video, mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model pengembangan video permainan kecil serta mengetahui proses pengembangan video pembelajaran olahraga Permainan Kecil pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang meliputi 5 tahapan penelitian. Lima tahapan tersebut meliputi Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement dan Evaluation. Produk hasil dari pengembangan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media yang selanjutnya diujicobakan pada kelompok kecil. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa respon ahli materi dan ahli media terhadap media video pemebelajrana permainan kecil dinyatakan "Sangat Layak" Berdasarkan respon siswa terhadap video pembelajaran permainan kecil memperoleh persentase 93 % dengan kategori "Sangat Baik”, Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa video pemebelajaran permainan kecil sudah layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan direspon baik oleh siswa.

Abstract

Menurut temuan PISA 2018, literasi sains di kalangan pelajar Indonesia masih rendah, berada di urutan ke-70. Dengan menelaah self-efficacy siswa, penelitian ini berusaha memastikan dampak pendekatan pembelajaran penemuan terhadap keterampilan literasi sains. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan dan efikasi diri terhadap keterampilan literasi sains siswa pada materi laju reaksi. Penelitian ini ialah eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Dilaksanakan dikelas XI MIPA SMA Islam Al Falah Kota Jambi dan sampel terdiri dari 2 kelas yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner efikasi diri, tes esai, dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu ANOVA 2 jalur. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh dari perlakuan model discovery learning pada keterampilan literasi sains siswa, nilai 0,001 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri (tinggi rendah) siswa pada keterampilan literasi sains, nilai 0,006 0,05. Tidak adanya interaksi antara model discovery learning dengan efikasi diri pada keterampilan literasi sains siswa, nilai 0,367.
