Abstract

Algorithm and programming is a prerequisite course at the beginning of the semester, which not only requires an understanding of the basic concepts but also how these concepts can be implemented using a programming language. However, 72% of students have never studied programming at all. This is a challenge for teachers to be able to achieve learning objectives. This study aims to describe the learning design using the Blended Learning model so that its effectiveness can be measured in increasing student understanding in algorithms and programming courses. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a one-group pre-test post-test design for seven cycles implementing Blended Learning. Through the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, it was found that there is an average of 92% increase in student understanding from the pre-test to the post-test.  Therefore, the application of Blended Learning needs to be done and provides mature readiness for students during face-to-face meetings and teachers can evaluate learning outcomes more quickly and determine the direction of further learning actions.

Abstract

Web application development has reached the point where developing an application will need developers to consider a whole lot of aspects in development such as server infrastructures, server security, database, APIs, programming language, and operating systems. These aspects lead to complex activities that require developers to have a long learning and development curve. There are existing possible ways to design and develop an application without developers have to learn and do all of things that had mentioned above. One of existing solution is the backendless approach using provisioned services from third party. In this article, an employee assignment management web-based application is designed and developed as prototype with the ability to create, assign, view and browse list of assignments using backendless approach. Backendless approach also enable rapid prototyping which developers can shorten time-to-market and get feedback from users as fast as possible to deliver solution.

Abstract

Sistem Supply Chain Management (SCM) yang berbasis cloud telah menjadi salah satu terobosan yang mendukung skalabilitas dan fleksibilitas bisnis. Kompleksitas SCM dalam mendukung proses bisnis, tidak hanya terdapat pada beragamnya modul dan fitur, tetapi juga berbagai tingkat pengguna yang mengakses sistem sesuai dengan tujuannya masing-masing. Berbagai penelitian mengenai pengembangan sistem SCM telah banyak dilakukan dengan berbagai implementasi yang telah dilakukan di berbagai sektor, dan dapat dikonklusikan bahwa akses sistem melalui internet yang dapat dilakukan dari mana saja, kapan saja dan oleh siapa saja memungkinkan adanya celah keamanan data berupa akses sumber daya oleh pengguna yang tidak memiliki otorisasi maupun hak akses. Penerapan Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) menjadi solusi yang dapat diterapkan dan mencegah akses resource dari pihak-pihak yang tidak memiliki otorisasi. Penerapan RBAC dalam salah satu framework yang banyak digunakan hingga saat ini, yaitu Framework Laravel, sangat dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan library Laravel Spatie. Dengan adanya penerapan ini, tujuan dari penelitian dapat terpenuhi, yaitu menjawab tantangan keamanan data dan menjaga integritas otorisasi setiap peran stakeholder pada sistem SCM berbasis cloud yang kompleks dengan berbagai tingkat level stakeholder akses yang ada.
