Abstract

ABSTRAK Angka kematian kelompok rentan akibat bencana masih sangat tinggi, seperti kejadian banjir bandang Garut dari 34 orang korban jiwa 35,4% diantaranya berusia 55-80 tahun dan 29%  merupakan anak-anak usia 0-14 tahun. Upaya pengurangan resiko harus dilakukan dengan memberdayakan masyarakat sehingga proses penanggulangan lebih efektif dengan respon yang cepat. Usia remaja merupakan kelompok yang sangat potensial karena memiliki angka resiliensi yang sangat baik. Selain itu pertumbuhan jumlah remaja sangat pesat dari kelompok umur lainnya, sehingga pemberdayaan kelompok remaja dengan perencanaan kontinjensi diharapkan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan terhadap ancaman kematian sehingga dapat melakukan pendampingan terhadap kelompok rentan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberdayaan (empowering) kelompok remaja akhir melalui pendekatan perencanaan kontinjensi dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan remaja terhadap ancaman kematian akibat bencana. Penelitian menggunakan metoda quasi-experimental design dengan pendekatan rancangan one group pre-post test design. Populasi penelitian merupakan pelajar SMK diwilayah yang memiliki ancaman bencana. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 responden dengan teknik proporsional random sampling diambil dari empat sekolah yang berada di zona merah. Data diolah menggunakan analisis univariat menggunakan tendensi sentral, t-test dependent dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% untuk melihat pengaruh dari intervensi, serta uji regresi linier ganda untuk menganalisis faktor mana yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kesiapsiagaan.Terdapat pengaruh pemberdayaan melalui pendekatan perencanaan kontinjensi dapat meningkatkan upaya kesiapsiagaan dengan nilai α (0.000). Peningkatan rerata (36,67%) didapatkan pada faktor yang mengawali kesiapsiagaan, diantaranya dilihat dari persepsi terhadap resiko, kewaspadaan terhadap ancaman, serta penurunan kecemasan. Faktor tersebut menstimulasi terbentuknya niat melakukan kesiapsiagaan dengan peningkatan (43,33%), bahkan meningkatkan upaya perencanaan kesiapsiagaan bencana sebesar (42,00%) sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Ketiga faktor tersebut saling berkaitan dan faktor pembentukan niat melakukan kesiapsiagaan menjadi faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap kesiapsiagaan dengan nilai β (0,531). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pemberdayaan melalui pendekatan perencanaan kontinjensi mampu meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan remaja terhadap ancaman kematian akibat bencana, sehingga dapat direkomendasikan bagi seluruh penggiat kebencanaan untuk memberdayakan remaja dengan perencanaan kontinjensi dalam upaya meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan terhadap ancaman kematian.  ABSTRACT The mortality rate of vulnerable groups due to the disaster is still very high, such as the incidence of flash floods at Garut,  of the 34 deaths among them  35.4% are 55-80 years old and 29% of children aged 0-14 years. Risk reduction efforts should be undertaken by empowering communities so that the countermeasures are more effective with rapid response. Adolescence is very potent because it has a very good resilience rate. In addition, the growth of adolescents is very rapidly from other age groups, so empowerment of adolescent groups with contingency planning is expected to increase preparedness against death threats so as to provide assistance to vulnerable groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of empowering the late adolescent group through contingency planning approach in the effort of preparedness against the threat of death due to the disaster.This study used quasi-experimental design method with one group pre-post test design approach. The study population was a vocational school student in the region that has disaster threats. The number of samples was 33 respondents with proportional random sampling technique from 4 schools in the red zone. Data were tested for data were analyzed by a central tendency for univariate analysis, t-test dependent with 95% confidence level to see the effect of the intervention, and determination of the most influential factor, the researcher used multiple linear regression tests.  Results of the study showed there is the influence of empowerment through contingency planning approach can improve preparedness efforts with α value (0.000). Percentages before and after the intervention can significantly improve the precursor factor increase (36.67%), intention formation (43.33%), and preparation (42.00%). In addition, intention formation factor is the most influential factor in preparedness efforts with β value (0,531). This study concluded that the empowerment through contingency planning approach can improve preparedness efforts of adolescence group to the threat of death from disaster. So it is recommended for all disaster activists to empower adolescents with contingency planning in an effort to increase preparedness against death threats Keywords: adolescent preparedness, contingency planning, disaster preparedness

Abstract

Pengalaman belajar klinik atau lapangan pada pendidikan tinggi keperawatan diperlukan untuk menumbuhkan dan membina kemampuan dan sikap keperawatan profesional. Salah satu cara untuk pengembangan dan pengendalian mutu keperawatan adalah dengan cara mengembangkan lahan praktik keperawatan disertai dengan adanya pembinaan masyarakat professional keperawatan untuk melaksanakan pengalaman belajar di lapangan dengan benar bagi peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan memfasilitasi kegiatan preseptorship. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perawat dalam mendidik mahasiswa dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang aman baik bagi mahasiswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah blended learning, yaitu penyampaian materi online dan pelaksanaan praktek preseptorship secara offline. Jumlah peserta yang terlibat adalah 30 yang merupakan perawat klinik Rumah Sakit dan pembimbing akademik di institusi pendidikan keperawatan di Jawa barat. Progam ini di ikuti oleh seluruh peserta dengan protokol kesehatan. Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan hasil rata-rata skor pengetahuan peserta adalah 78 dan skor rata-rata keterampilan adalah 84. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa perawat sebagai clinical instructor perlu di bekali pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam pelaksanaannya dalam membimbing mahasiswa.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah lansia maka secara tidak langsung menjadi faktor meningkatnya berbagai penyakit degeneratif. Namun ternyata cakupan pelayanan kesehatan bagi lansia dikota Bandung masih rendah Penyakit yang timbul pada lansia tersebut seharusnya dapat dicegah dengan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengontrol faktor – faktor risikonya melalui program peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan dan pemberdayaan lansia. Pemberdayaan lansia dengan model Adaptif Conservation yaitu kemampuan beradaptasi masyarakat dalam penyelesaian masalah kesehatan dilakukan secara bersama-sama melibatkan semua unsur energi, struktur, integritas pribadi dan sosial. Tujuan program adalah untuk menyusun dan melaksanakan program pengembangan pemberdayaan lansia. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey, MMD, screening kesehatan, pelatihan kader dan penyuluhan kesehatan. Program di laksanakan selama 8 bulan. Subjek adalah semua unsur masyarakat, kader kesehatan yang ada di Kelurahan Padasuka. Hasil dari kegiatan adalah diperolehnya data mengenai kesehatan masyarakat, kondisi penyakit lansia, peningkatan pengetahuan kader mengenai manajemen Posbindu.Keyword : Adaptif conservation; Pemberdayaan lansia; Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat; Pelatihan kader

Abstract

Background: Cardiovascular disease and trauma caused by accidents remain the leading cause of death. Data by WHO reveals that 17,9 million people die from cardiovascular disease before reaching hospital. The problem is caused by the first aid mistake; hence, a prompt and effective response action of the first responder is important to handle out-of-hospital emergency care. The need for care and human resources is the biggest and most important component to act as the first responders.Objectives: The research aims to discover evaluation emergency situation in university and the competency level of the first responder taking first aid training in affect the way patients are managed during an emergency.Methods: The method employed is mixed methods consists of FGD with a four-stage contingency planning approach and quasi-experimental design of one group post-test that was conducted to obtain quantitative data. There were 30 participants in this research. Thematic and descriptive analysis tests were used to analyze the dataResults: The results show that there are four important things in developing an emergency system in the university area which are a distribution of operational area, communication system, Developing emergency system, and sustainable improvement of first responder capacity. The results of the competency assessment show that the average knowledge level of the participants is 79.5, and their psychomotor level is above 80%.Conclusion: First aid training is important to given for first responder to improve safety in the university. Keywords: Public Safety Center, First Responder, Emergency.

Abstract

The development of the COVID-19 pandemic is still increasing in the community. With the large population in Indonesia, especially the city of Bandung, the treatment of COVID-19 patients is not only carried out at health service centers but also in the community directly. Health volunteers who are community groups who are actively assisting the government in the implementation of public health need to be equipped with the management of COVID-19 patient care in terms of care, nutrition and exercise. This PKM aims to provide debriefing to prospective COVID volunteers regarding the care of individuals with COVID 19 in hospitals and self-isolation places in the community, sports training in handling COVID, debriefing knowledge and skills in the implementation of infection prevention and control in treating COVID patients. The method used is blended seminars and training, namely online and offline by implementing strict health protocols. This program is carried out for 2 days. Participants are 244 students, health workers who are prospective COVID 19 volunteers at health institutions in the city of Bandung. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in the average knowledge of pretest (65.8), post test (73.49) of volunteers on nursing care management, and skills in safety preparation.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan olahraga berpotensi mengakibatkan kejadian kegawatdaruratan. Kasus trauma fisik merupakan kasus yang sering terjadi, tetapi kejadian henti jantung juga beberapa kali terjadi saat olahraga. Mahasiswa perlu memiliki pengalaman praktik dalam penanganan kegawatdaruratan pada penyelenggaraan olahraga, karena mereka harus siap ditempatkan dimanapun setelah lulus termasuk menjadi tim medis dalam penyelenggaraan olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksplorasi pengalaman mahasiswa keperawatan dalam praktik pertolongan kegawatdaruratan dalam penyelenggaraan olahraga. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jumlah sample 10 orang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara semi-terstruktur dari daftar pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 4 tema diantaranya: Perlu latihan penanganan cedera secara langsung dan spesifik, Merasa tidak percaya diri, Kesenjangan antara yang dipelajari dengan praktik, Kebutuhan kompetensi profesional penanganan cedera. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penanganan kegawatdaruratan pada olahraga memiliki kekhususan sehingga proses pembelajaran sebelum praktik harus mendapat perhatian yang sama dengan keilmuan lainnya, sehingga kedepan kompetensi penanganan kegawatdaruratan olahraga perlu dimasukan kedalam pokok bahasan dalam kurikulum.

Abstract

Clinical learning is a process of interaction between clinical preceptors and students as learners on the practice field. The clinical guidance process is often limited to supervising nursing students during clinical practice without any targets that need to be achieved, even students repeat the same activities every day. This study aims to determine the application of a target-based clinical learning model in improving the quality of preceptors. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one group time series design on 40 nurses from several hospitals and educational institutions who had not received clinical preceptor training. The sampling technique used quota sampling technique according to the proportion of the number of students who were practicing in their respective institutions, the sample was given an intervention in the form of training using a target-based clinical learning model consisting of theory and practice. The practice was conducted in the laboratory and in the hospital from September to December. Evaluation using a checklist instrument for assessing preceptor competence and data analyzed using the Wilcoxon test using SPSS 25.0.  The result of the study, there was a significant increase in the ability of nurses to provide nursing clinic preceptors between before and after training with a significance value of 0.020, while in the first supervisory assessment significant=0.030, second supervision significant=0.040 and third supervision significant=0.050. The data shows how closely the target-based learning model affects the quality of clinical supervisors' abilities. This is important to be applied to all prospective clinical supervisors before conducting clinical guidance.Â
