Abstract

Mural art in Jogjakarta has been developing nowadays as visual artistsÂ’ anxiety expression to the town circumstances which do not provide aesthetic alternatives for its society because the town is full of pollutions%2C noises%2C violence%2C untidy billboards mounting%2C posters or pamphlets on walls direct to vandalism. Hopefully the existence of mural art can create visual communication aesthetically to the society to develop better town civilization by messages which are included in. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Seni mural di Jogjakarta mulai berkembang akhir-akhir ini sebagai bentuk kegelisahan perupa pada perkembangan kota yang tidak menyediakan alternatif estetis bagi penghuninya%2C karena kota sudah dipenuhi oleh polusi%2C kebisingan%2C kekerasan%2C tidak teraturnya papan billboard%2C poster maupun pamflet di dinding yang sudah mengarah pada vandalisme.
