Abstract

Al-Ghaz?l? in Sufism has had big influenced of his thought in the world. He was Syafi’i follower in fiqih law and Asy’ariyah in theology, when he was in Baghdad he hung out with many mazhabs. Ihya’ Ul?m al-D?n is outlined with sharp thought method. The discussion is divided to systematic parts. It combined outward and inner fiqh, in explaining the difficult terms, this book uses tamstil. Al Ghazali has written heart diseases and its medicine. It also inserted many advantage stories as refreshing phase. Heart education is the soul controlling process. This soul consequently is able to encourage the physical activity in daily life appropriate with syari’ah of Allah through riyadhoh, fasting, praying or other worships. It also makes person becomes obidient people from birth to death, through many education and teaching and learning gradually, in which the learning peocess is parents and society responsibility toward a pious (shalih) person. The purpose of psychology according to Ghazali is forming pious or shalih people.

Abstract

Anger can be managed by controlling the wrath, forgiving someone mistake, doing ihsan to the one who has tortured, praying and simple in action. By having good capability in controlling anger well, means they have accomplished personal intelligence in fostering good relation with other. In this case they are able to be good person individually and socially. In other words, they have not only “sajadah ilahiyyah”, but also “sajadah insaniyyah” which is upheld by yang al-Qur’an that’s called Habl Min Allah wa Habl Min al-Nas. This is appropriate with the function Islamic education that is instilling good character in the children soul when they are growing up by direction and advice. So that their moral becomes one of their capability seeped their soul in the form of virtue, kindness and like to work for the benefit of the country.

Abstract

Evaluation in an action or process to decide value of something. The curriculum is a subsystem in education cannot be separated from the dynamics process in the society. The curriculum therefore, should be organized to prepare learners in facing the future obstacles. This article discusses the importance of curriculum evaluation in some aspects and giving the construction of understanding for all parties involved in education that the curriculum evaluation becomes reference frame of Islamic education as it is very important in the globalization era, such aspects as curriculum evaluation, and curriculum development, types of evaluation strategies, curriculum evaluation models. Therefore, this curriculum evaluation can be used as a measurement or be used as a fundamental reference by institutions, especially Islamic education.

Abstract

Personnel management is management which gets at staffing issues in an institution. It needs smart and skilled employees to make them work effective and efficiently. Therefore, institution has to carry out strict selection in accepting new employees. Likewise, the institution aims will be reached if they have smart and skilled employees, and its amount is adequate. The main goal of personnel management is planning, procurement, development, promotion and transfer, dismissal, retirement, and welfare of employees. The rapid change in society should be followed schools by increasing its personal profession, and the capacity building is not based on their work experience only, since the length of profession practice is not an increasing ability guarantee. Thereof, the head master as manager can improve the personnel profession in various ways.

Abstract

The development of technology demands Islamic education institution as the actor of islamization of knowledge project to increase its quality through management of teachers. As the key for achieving school’s vision, teachers must be managed well. This research investigated the process of management of teachers conducted by SMA PGII 1 Bandung. This school was chosen since it evidently could achieve its vision and have competitive alumna showen by their success in getting scholarschip to Germany. This was a case study with qualitative approach. The instruments were interview, questionnaire and observation with teacher, vice of headmaster and chief of administration as respondents. The results show that this school has serious efforts in protect the teachers’ professionalism since recruitment process. The founding program, performance analysis, giving appreciation and sanction become the strategies in increasing the teachers’ quality. This shows that by a comprehensive management of teachers, a school could achieve its vision.

Abstract

This study discusses the form of parent schools that answer global problems in children's education at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact and evaluate of the innovation development program of parent schools in creating the golden triangle of institutions carried out in the Pondodk Pesantren At-Thoyyibah Sukodono Sidoarjo. Data collection has been done through observation, interviews and analysis of documents from several sources. Based on the results of data analysis, the results show that the innovation development program of the parent school refers to the quality accreditation that the institution has, the hope of being formed is to be able to connect the golden triangle chain, namely school, parents and students. The parent school activities that are carried out are recitation/memorization of the Qur'an using the Wafa method, discussion of child development, parenting material, outbound, social gathering, and hobbies. The supporting factors of this program are good management support, and supporting school resources, while the inhibiting factor is that there are still many very busy parents who have not been able to take part in parental school activities to the fullest. To overcome this, several efforts have been made, namely by applying parenting every one year twice.

Abstract

Teacher's personality is a very important competency. The weak personality of the teacher can cause moral violations. Therefore it needs to be regulated in legislation, one of them is Permendiknas No 16 Th. 2007. The Book of Adab al-im alim Wa al-Muta'allim is one of the great works of Hadratus Syaikh Hasyim Asy'ary also explaining the teacher's personal competence. This study describes the teacher's personality competencies in the Permendiknas No 16 Th. 2007. The results of this study are expected to be a reference material to be able to improve teacher personality competencies. This is library research with a descriptive and comparative qualitative approach, using primary and secondary documentary data sources, which data are analyzed using comparative analysis. This study concludes that the study of teacher personality competencies in the book of Adab Alim wa al Muta'allim is explained in detail. The contents of these competencies are appropriate and cover the whole formulation of the core teacher’s personality competencies which are explained globally and generally in the Pemendiknas no. 16 of 2007.

Abstract

Education is an investment where the process requires concrete steps to make it happen; it can be taken through informal, non-formal and formal education, which in the process the teacher's role is significant and urgent, in addition to education and teaching, it is also demanded as professionals. One effort to improve teacher professionalism through the supervision process. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe the efforts made by a head in enhancing the competence and abilities of the teacher through the process of supervision activities carried out by internalizing prophetic values. The type of this research is literature, with a pattern of qualitative research, the purpose of this research is understanding, data is naturalistic, the method is inductive, reporting is descriptive and analytical. Data analysis techniques are inductive, deductive and comparative methods. The results of this study are that in carrying out supervision activities, both supervisors and supervised teachers can internalize prophetic values ??in their actions. That way these activities can be valuable for supervisors and supervised ones. The conclusion of this study is that as a supervised (object of supervision), one must accept it as a form of worship as a relationship between fellow believers to remind each other in terms of goodness, display and appear as they are, honest and not manipulate (eg documents), carry out responsibilities, improvements and judgments for oneself before they are considered to be ended later. And no less important is, intending to improve and improve quality.

Abstract

Supervision is a supervisor activity to improve the management of religious education in schools or madrasah so that the teaching and learning activities condition can be achieved. Supervision is not only done by supervisors, but also school principal. As a supervisor, the principal should be good at researching and determining the conditions are needed for the progress of the school to make education objectives is achieved. SMAN Bareng Jombang, has only 2 teachers of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) who are teaching of 19 classes. Therefore, they need much time and guidance from supervisor in developing and improving the quality of teaching and learning process they have conducted. The result shows that the principal role in supervising Islamic religious education in SMAN Bareng was well implemented. The evidence is the principal has done suprvision as researchers, consultants, facilitators, motivators and pioneers of renewal. Such the technique used is observing classroom or direct observation techniques, and the approach used is a collaborative approach.

Abstract

Quality education is produced from quality process. The superior graduates is produced from formation and development their character values which are internalized to be superior individuals. To produce graduates with values character needs effective planning, implementing, and supervision. This research discusses the concept of SMA Trensains Tebuireng curriculum such as; component, structure, and actualization of integrated curriculum, the steps of actualization of integrated curriculum, and the implication of curriculum. SMA Trensains Tebuireng implements Semesta curriculum which combines between national, international, and pesantren sains wisdom curriculum. And the actualization steps are planning, implementing, evaluating, and activity completeness, and measurability of results achieved.
