Abstract

Mail management or archiving is very commonly carried out by an organization. At Esa Unggul University, the management of student academic letter needs is still done manually by the faculty administration staff, which is considered inefficient because there is only 1 faculty staff for each department, and they play a role in almost all faculty activities, so the management and service of academic letters has a slow process. Based on the problems found above, an academic letter management information system is proposed. This research is intended to be able to process student academic letter needs quickly and easily, so that it benefits both the students and the Faculty. The development method chosen for this system is prototyping using the Laravel framework, and producing an information system that can manage incoming and outgoing mail from the Esa Unggul University Faculty of Computer Science by the system. The benefits of this research include easing the work of the Faculty Admin, speeding up the process of serving academic letters, and reducing the risk of Human Error when managing academic letters

Abstract

The C4.5 algorithm is a machine learning method based on decision trees, which has the ability to predict categories based on attributes present in the data. This research aims to address issues by implementing the C4.5 algorithm in forming a recommendation system for providing financial assistance to Homeless People during Travel (OTDP) in the Social Service of Cirebon City. This research process involves three main stages. First, data collection is carried out regarding OTDP who have received financial assistance previously, as well as related attributes such as age, address, travel purpose, and occupation. The second stage involves data processing to clean and reorganize the dataset to fit the C4.5 Algorithm format. Finally, it is applied to form a prediction that will provide recommendations for financial assistance to OTDP. OTDP is a vulnerable group that often requires social assistance from the government. In Cirebon City, the Social Service is responsible for providing financial assistance to support their travel. However, determining the right recipients for assistance is a challenge because the number of OTDP in need of assistance can vary over time. Therefore, it is hoped that the results of this research will provide a more efficient and accurate recommendation system in determining financial assistance recipients for OTDP, with a focus on the "Short Distance" category with a grant amount of "Rp120,000" and "Long Distance" with a grant amount of "Rp150,000". With this recommendation system, it is expected that the Social Service of Cirebon City can become more responsive in providing assistance to OTDP groups in need.

Abstract

The sustainability of the benefits of a system is a major factor that software developers should pay attention to. No matter how sophisticated the technology of the software system that is built, if users find it difficult to use it, it is certain that the goals and benefits to be achieved in the development of a software system will not be achieved. This is because users will not be interested in using the software system. To anticipate the emergence of these problems, it is necessary to conduct an initial analysis to find out whether the software system built already has a level of usability that is easy to use by users or not. One method to analyze the level of usability is the SUS (System Usability Scale) method. The stages of the SUS method consist of selecting respondents, data collection, score calculation and scale interpretation. This study aims to obtain usability level data from the use of the Rumah Digital marketplace. From this usability data, a conclusion will be obtained, whether the system that has been built has met the expectations of its users or not.

Abstract

M-Beat (Mobile BFI Edustream and Training Application) is a BFI Finance e-Learning platform dedicated to employee learning and training. One of the features of the M-Beat is the Interactive feature which is an interactive module. However, currently, only a few modules are already interactive. This is not yet fully effective because the modules still in PDF form are monotonous. Therefore, it is necessary to build interactive modules on other modules that are still in PDF form. In creating this interactive module, researchers used PowerPoint for storyboard creation, and Articulate Storyline 360 to make the module interactive.

Abstract

Akreditasi memerlukan pengelolaan dokumen yang efisien, namun di banyak universitas, pengelolaan dokumen akreditasi masih menghadapi kendala. Dokumen tersebar dalam berbagai format dan sulit diakses. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen data akreditasi menjadi penting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang dan membangun sistem manajemen data akreditasi berbasis web yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Fakultas Ilmu Komputer di Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall dalam pengembangan sistem dengan tahapan requirements, design, implementation, testing, dan maintenance. Sistem ini memungkinkan admin dan operator mengelola data akreditasi, dan asesor untuk mengakses dan mengevaluasi dokumen akreditasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, dan semua fitur utama berfungsi dengan baik. Kesimpulannya, sistem ini membantu Fakultas Ilmu Komputer UMI dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses akreditasi, menghemat waktu dan sumber daya, serta mendukung pemeliharaan kualitas dan reputasi pendidikan tinggi di fakultas.

Abstract

In light of the rapid technological advancements today, the utilization of the E-Ku web-based General Electronic Cashier Application remains highly relevant in aiding Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in enhancing their daily transaction efficiency. A case study for the implementation of this technology is illustrated through Zaynmart Store. The research approach adopted encompasses an analysis of Zaynmart Store's requirements and the development of web-based software accessible through a variety of devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones. E-Ku Application empowers UMKM proprietors and their staff to effortlessly record sales transactions, manage inventory, and generate precise financial reports. Research findings underscore that the implementation of E-Ku's web-based General Electronic Cashier Application positively impacts the operational efficiency of Zaynmart Store. The streamlined transaction process facilitates time savings, reduces error potential, and enhances financial record-keeping accuracy for UMKM. Furthermore, E-Ku Application supports store owners in making informed decisions based on the data it provides. Consequently, the E-Ku web-based General Electronic Cashier Application stands as an effective tool for aiding UMKM, such as Zaynmart Store, in managing their day-to-day transactions, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer service. The successful implementation of E-Ku highlights the considerable potential of web technology in bolstering the growth and development of UMKM in this digital age.

Abstract

PT. Fiber Networks Indonesia is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that has installed a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) in the Jabodetabek area. Access to the BTS server room is currently via manual access using a regular key. All ISPs want to immediately resolve existing problems so that their customers remain connected and stable. Access to the server room door is still compromised from a security perspective and can still be accessed easily by irresponsible individuals. The aim of this research is to develop a Smart Door Lock prototype with Face Recognition for security access to the server room. This prototype tool uses Raspberry Pi-based facial recognition for entry access and a camera for facial detection and recognition. Flask framework web-based application that simplifies the Internet as a medium for communication, access and data storage. As well as using a Solenoid Door Lock as an actuator. The test results show that it is able to recognize registered faces and open the door. If there is an unfamiliar face, the solednoid will remain locked and the door will not open. Infiltration user data and infiltration attempts (intruders) are stored as logs or history in the SQLite 3 database and Raspberry Pi internal storage, making it easy to review the data if needed at a later date.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology causes the need for information systems to increase to encourage people to carry out an activity so that it can be carried out quickly and precisely, and are required to be able to make decisions using the right method. so as to obtain benefits for the progress of information systems. The information system needed in handling the payment process must be precise and fast, errors in the payment entry process and payment calculation and the process of recording payment results. Currently the handling of tuition payments is still done semi-computerized using Microsoft Excel. then a system is needed that can equalize or convert courses. The method used in this information system is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method of the waterfall type model, which is expected to be able to easily determine the achievement of a system, where a website system that has been designed uses PHP with the Laravel Framework as its programming language and MySQL as a container. database storage, and UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a system model to describe the flow of procedures in the form of objects consisting of Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams, The results of this test are in the form of data or information about payments. From the test results, it can be concluded that this system can perform the expected functions. Hopefully with this system, it can help the finance department to check the results of student payments in order to know whether the payment results are correct or not, so as to minimize recalculation in the management of financial statements.
