Abstract

This Study describes the concept of parent class innovation through peer parent mentor in high school. This research was conducted by a qualitative approach. A preliminary study was conducted in four high school and vocational schools in Yogyakarta. The focus of this research was on parent class activities that became one of the forms of a partnership model with a parent in school. Researcher as an instrument in this study by used guidelines interview, observation, and study documentation to collect data and information. The interactive analysis was chosen by the researcher as a technique in data analysis obtained. The result of this research was the concept of implementation of parent class in high school. Then the researcher makes a concept of peer parent mentor used a theory about mentoring. So, the concept peer parent mentor can use to optimize the implementation of the parent class. The implementation of these methods starts from the planning stage until evaluation.

Abstract

Keragaman latar belakang dari warga belajar kejar paket C SKB Comal Kabupaten Pemalang yang berbeda-beda membuat motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar masing-masing peserta didik menjadi lebih variatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar warga belajar kejar paket C di SKB Comal Kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 77 warga belajar kelas XI yang terdiri 47 kelas IPS dan 30 kelas IPA. Berdasarkan analisis regresi sederhana diperoleh hasil yaitu skor = 51,227 lebih besar dari  = 0,227 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Sehingga hipotesis kerja () ditolak dengan kata lain ada pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar. Sedangkan pada tabel R square diperoleh skor 0,008 yang artinya besaran pengaruh motivasi belajar warga belajar terhadap hasil belajarnya adalah sebesar 0,8 %. sedangkan sisanya sebesar 99,2 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas pada penelitian ini. The diversity of backgrounds of students program package C SKB Comal Pemalang Regency different makes learning motivation and learning achievement of each student become more varied. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation to the learning achievement of students package compete C SKB Comal Pemalang Regency. This study used quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 77 student consisting of 47 students of class IPS and class IPA 30 students. Based on the simple regression analysis obtained result is a score = 51,227 is greater than   = 0,227 at a significance level of 0,05. So that the nol hypothesis () rejected. While R square table obtained scores 0,008 which means the amount of influence the motivation of learners on learners on learning achievement is equal to 0,8%. While residue is equal to 99,2% because of influence is variable different not is research to here trought.

Abstract

Pos-PAUD is one form of non-formal PAUD unit as the development of Integrated Services Post (Posyandu) activities. Previous researches results state that Pos-PAUD service quality is far from what is expected since the village society-built institution has many limitations. Its managements academic qualification and competence is not required as demanded by the law. This research aims at mapping Pos-PAUD managements managerial competence and its influence on its institutional service quality. The research was conducted with a correlational quantitative research design. The research population was the Pos-PAUD management in Malang City of about 156 people. The research samples were 65 people determined based on the proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected using a questionnaire technique. The questionnaire validity was tested using Pearsons Product Moment technique, while questionnaire reliability was tested using Cronbachs Alpha technique. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and regressive analysis techniques using SPPSS 23.00 for windows. The result of descriptive analysis shows that managements managerial competence and institutional service quality are not maximal yet since there is unmet indicator. The hypothesis test result shows that Fcount is 162.407 (Sig F = 0.000). Ftable at significance level 5% is 3.14. Since Fcount Ftable (162.407 3.14) and Sig F 5% (0.000 0.05) thus Ho is rejected, which means that managements managerial competence significantly influences Pos-PAUD service quality. This research result may be taken as the base to design Pos-PAUD managements competence building activity that is currently seldom performed and as the base of development of Pos-PAUD service quality improvement model.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a play therapy model based on Karonese Culture to reduce the trauma of children after the eruption of Mount Sinabung. The approach in this study used a qualitative approach during preliminary study, design and model formulation. Quantitative approaches will be used when testing and validating models. The method used is 4D model: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Under the trend category, the mean of child trauma is 111.00 and lies at intervals of 96 to 128. This suggests that child trauma belongs to high category. Based on the observation of Sinabung children, it is known that many of them are traumatized. The trauma to these children can be identified with some symptoms. Three things to note from the direct changes experienced by these children, namely: (1) Avoidance: avoid what is associated with the incidence of eruption; (2) Re-experiencing: traumatic events continue to reoccur in memory so that children often experience bad dreams; (3) Hypersoul: a visible trauma reaction. Children are often frightened when they hear the sound of explosions and loud shouts. Another sign is the emergence of regression in children where there is a decline in their development. Furthermore, children who are usually active tend to withdraw themselves from the environment, and conversely, a quiet child becomes active. Based on the findings, the instructional games will be designed with the stages of application design starting with the concept, designing, collecting materials, assembly, testing and distribution.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of remuneration with job evaluation point method and to discover its impact toward salary satisfaction of employees in Small and Medium scale Enterprise (SME). This research is a case study involving SME level employees in the field of food and beverage preparation who received remuneration with job evaluation point method. The methods for data collection used in this research were observation, interview, and questionnaires. The measurement scale used was the Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire. This research was an experimental action research with the randomized pretest–posttest control group design. The Mann–Whitney and Friedman tests were applied for conducting data analysis. The study argues that the application of remuneration by using job evaluation point method can increase the satisfaction of SME employees, reduce the level of turnover, and increase work commitment of employees. The results of the data analysis showed that the hypothesis was accepted; there was an improvement in salary satisfaction of experimental group who received remuneration with a significance value of p0.005.

Abstract

The development of the business and the industry world goes hand in hand with the development of education in society. Education plays an important role in improving people's life skills. The purpose of this study is to describe the contribution of the business world and the world of industry in community empowerment, and to describe the concept of community empowerment for alumni of the Yuwita training and course institution, Tasikmalaya City, West Java. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The techniques used in collecting research data are observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Whereas for checking the validity of the data the researcher uses data validity criteria to support that this research has credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmation. The results of the study illustrate that the business and the industry world (DUDI) contribute to the empowerment of alumni communities in courses and training in skin beauty. DUDI's contribution to community empowerment manifests itself in increasing independence, the formation of study groups, competencies that are in accordance with the Indonesian National Qualification Framework Standard (SKKNI). Increasing entrepreneurship based on regional potential, increasing skills, knowledge and attitudes. And increasing economic capacity, ability to access welfare benefits, and cultural and political abilities. A partnership between courses and training institutions with DUDI was realized. Collaboration in technology transfer, knowledge/skills transfer, human resource transfer, transfer of learning methods, and capital transfers, as well as business opportunities.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the implementation of Bina Keluarga Balita development program in Klojen Sub-District as an effort to strengthen the ability of parents in childcare. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires. The respondents in this study amounts 291 participants of Bina Keluarga Balita development program in Klojen Sub-District of  with a proportional random sampling technique in taking sample members. The analysis of data is used descriptive statistical techniques. The overall results of the study shows that the implementation of Bina Keluarga Balita development program in Klojen Sub-District is very effective as an effort to strengthen the ability of parents in childcare with a percentage of 80,05%. The new finding in this study is that the implementation of Bina Keluarga Balita development program is very effective as an effort to strengthen the ability of parents in childcare which shows that the majority of parents understand the aplication of childcare in early age that suitable with the stages of growth and development. This research provides knowledge to parents as program participants and program implementers to give an overview of the implementation of Bina Keluarga Balita development  program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study will be to find a solution as follows: (1). Want to know if PKBM Lotus Mekar has a way in efforts to educate the life of the Nation. (2). Want to know how PKBM Eka Bahurui in cooperation with local government. In order for this institution to manage properly. The method in this research, using qualitative approach while the subject of this research is: Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) in Kotawaringin Timur region. And the subjects in this study, hádala: managers, tutors and residents learn. The data source is the organizer of PKBM organizer and tutor at the non-formal education institution. To obtain data assisted by interview guides, observation and documentation. The results of this study are: (1). PKBM Lotus Mekar has a way in efforts to educate the life of the Nation, by providing various programs for prospective learners (WB) motivated to become learners and able to follow the process of learning well; (2). PKBM Eka Bahurui in performing his duties in cooperation with local government. So, it can manage the institution well. And it turns out the learning process at the time of this research took place no longer use the village office but on the blessing of local government accompanied budget cost so PKBM already has building hermanen

Abstract

Education had the important role for improving the quality of a nation, including non-formal education. One types of nonformal educational program that prepares the workforce that is expected to enter the world of work is LKP. This paper aims to describe self-efficacy, job readiness, and self-efficacy contribution to job readiness of PKH course participants. Based on data collected on 32 PKH trainees analyzed by using simple regression analysis technique, it is obtained the description of the low self-efficacy and the work preparedness of PKH. Thus, it can be concluded that the low self efficacy and job preparation of PKH course participants. Furthermore, self efficacy has a significant contribution to the readiness of training participants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui jenis program yang dikembangkan PKBM di Jawa Tengah dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan melalui pendidikan nonformal, peran PKBM, hambatan dan dukungan bagi PKBM dalam menyelenggarakan programnya. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian menggunakan metode multiple stage random sampling. Sampel didapatkan 6 PKBM yang ada di Jawa Tengah. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, metode dan teori. Teknik analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang didapatkan jenis program yang dikembangkan PKBM di Jawa Tengah dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan adalah program PAUD, Keaksaraan, Kesetaraan, Kursus dan Pelatihan, KBU, Magang dan program lain. Program Kesetaraan, Kursus dan Pelatihan, serta KBU memiliki posisi dominan. Jenis program paling banyak dikembangkan adalah program kursus dan pelatihan. Adapun peran PKBM yaitu sebagai pusat informasi, belajar masyarakat, pendidikan dan latihan keterampilan serta adanya kemandirian masyarakat yang terbentuk. Hambatan internal belum terpenuhinya penyelenggaraan full beasiswa bagi semua warga belajar dan sulit mencari tutor yang diidealkan. Hambatan eksternal minimnya akses sumber keuangan serta persaingan pemasaran produk. Dukungan internal berupa komitmen yang tinggi dari semua pengelola serta budaya kerja secara kekeluargaan. Dukungan eksternal berupa berbagai dukungan baik dari pihak pemerintah, swasta, berbagai mitra kerja serta media massa yang ikut serta dalam publikasi.
