<![CDATA[Sistem ketenagalistrikan Sumatera adalah sistem interkoneksi dengan delapan wilayah distribusi yaitu wilayah Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, Riau, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan, Bengkulu, dan Lampung. Kebutuhan permintaan tenaga listrik dan biaya investasi infrastruktur tenaga listrik di masing-masing wilayah berbeda sehingga tarif tenaga listrik di masing-masing wilayah dapat berbeda. Di dalam penelitian ini, tarif tenaga listrik di masing-masing wilayah dihitung dengan metode biaya marginal jangka panjang. Penggunaan tarif tenaga listrik sesuai biaya marginal diharapkan dapat mendorong kemandirian penyediaan biaya infrastruktur tenaga listrik di masing-masing wilayah. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan biaya marginal tenaga listrik yang paling tinggi adalah di wilayah Aceh yaitu rata-rata sebesar Rp 1.701/kWh dan yang paling rendah di wilayah Lampung yaitu rata-rata sebesar Rp 1.467/kWh. Proyeksi pendapatan dari hasil penjualan tenaga listrik tahun 2014 dengan tarif sesuai biaya marginal adalah sebesar 45,19 trilyun rupiah. Pendapatan ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan biaya investasi infrastruktur tenaga listrik di Sumatera yang mencapai rata-rata 28,64 trilyun per tahun. In this study , electricity prices in each region was calculated by the long run marginal costs methode . The use of electricity tariff in accordance marginal cost is expected to encourage self-reliance provision of electricity infrastructure costs in each area. From the results, the marginal cost of electricity is the highest in the region of Aceh which is an average of U.S. $ 1.701/kWh and the lowest in the region of Lampung is an average of U.S. $ 1.467/kWh . Projected revenue from the sale of electricity with tariff of marginal cost is equal to 45.19 trillion rupiah .
