Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis: ‘The Analysis of The Cause Factors of The Unattainable Standard Minimum Criteria on Sociology Learning at The Students of Class XII IIS 1 at SMAN 2 Pontianak’. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause factors of the unattainable  standard minimum criteria on sociology learning. The research was conducted by using qualitative approach with descriptive research method. The techniques of data collection were observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies while data collection tools were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, field notes and documents. The result of study about the cause factors of the unattainable  standard minimum criteria on sociology learning at the students of class XII IIS 1 at SMAN 2 Pontianak based on the use of curriculum 2013, was collected as follows: (1) the lesson plan factor of sociology learning is the cause ; the purpose, the method and media which were inappropriate with the actual plan, (2) the lesson implementation factor of learning sociology learning is the cause; the students lack of readiness, interest and active as well as the teacher is less motivating (3) the lesson evaluation factors of sociology learning is not the cause ; the problem has been presented well from the appropriateness and difficulties of material, construction and the language used is easy to understand. Key Words : Unattainable Standard Minimum Criteria, Sociology Learning

Abstract

       AbstractThe title of this research is "The Effect of Talking Stick Learning Model to Students? Learning Outcomes on Sociology Subject in SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak". The problems of this research were, what are the steps to use talking stick learning model on students? learning outcomes on the sociology subject at class XI IPS 2 in SMA Islam Bawari Pontiana, How is the learning outcome after using talking stick learning model on sociology subject at class XI IPS. The method in this research was quasi experimental research, with the nonequivalent control group design. Data collection was done through direct observation technique and measurement technique. The data tools used were multiple choice test and observation sheet. The results research in implementation steps was prepared based on the lesson plan. The second observation, the observer?s experimental class became more critical and active from the control class, and at the stage of using the sticking learning model could be seen the post-test results. The mean score of post-test of the experimental class was 80.24, while the control class was 76.63. It was proved by the measurement which showed the effect size 0.43 indicating moderate level or. Keywords: Talking Stick Learning Model, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is the Role of assistant of Social Service and Rehabilitation Unit (UPRS) of West Kalimantan in Improving Child Learning Motivation. In this study the problem formulation is how the role of assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan in improving children's learning motivation. The formulation of the problem translated into several sub-issues, namely how assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan gives attention in motivating children's learning, how assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan gives reward in motivating children's learning, how assistant UPRS West Kalimantan provides penalties for motivating children's learning. The aims of this study are to determine and describe the role undertaken by assistant of UPRS West Kalimantan in improving motivation to learn, by giving attention, appreciation, and punishment. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are using observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study are 8 people.The results of this study indicate that the role performed is good enough, giving attention, such as giving advice to children to study, supervise when children is studying such as reminding children when it is time to study. Abstract

 Abstract:This thesis entitled "Application of Problem Based Learning Model in Developing Critical Thinking Skills on Sociology Learning In Class X IIS 1 State Senior High School 9 Pontianak". The research method used in this research is Experiments with Quasi Experimental research form and Post-test design only group design. The results of this study: 1) Based on the pre-test results after divided between mean value (average) 55.45 with standard deviation 5.602. This indicates that the pres-test results are normally distributed. If both data are normal then t test will be performed, based on t test with ? = 0,05 level in the experimental class and control class on the sig (2-tailed) 0,000 column, there is no significant difference in the pre-test result, so it can be said that the experimental class and the control class have the same ability. 2) Based on the post test resulted the average value of 65.61 standard deviation yield value 9.772. If the value of skewness tastes between values 2 to +2 then the data is said to be normal.Keyword : Problem-Based Learning, Critical Thinking.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is "the application of the PAIKEM model in improving student learning outcomes in sociology subject in class X SMAN 6 Pontianak". This study aims to determine the implementation of the application of the PAIKEM model and determine the magnitude of the influence of the PAIKEM model in improving student learning outcomes in sociology learning in class X of SMAN 6 Pontianak. The form of the experiment used in this study was a quasi-experimental. The population in this study was class X SMAN 6 Pontianak academic year 2018/2019. The sample used was class X IPS 4 (experimental class) and class X IPS 1 (control class). The data collection tool used in this study is the learning outcomes test in the form of essay questions (pretest and posttest) and questionnaire sheets in the form of the application of the PAIKEM learning model. Analysis of learning outcomes data using the Mann Whitney U-test with a real level = 5% obtained Sig.0,000. This shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes and student responses. The calculation of the effect size (ES) is obtained at 0.92 which belongs to the large category, which gives an effect of 51.6%. Student responses to the application of the PAIKEM model belong to the category of "very good" which is equal to 89.02%. Keywords: Application, PAIKEM Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThesis title "Societys? Perception on the Social Ethics of the College Students Live in Dormitory at RT 03 Kelutahan Bansir Darat Kecamatan Pontianak Tenggara". The main problem in this research is how is societys? perception towards social ethics of the college students who live at dormitory. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Technique data collection used are observation techniques, interviews, and documentation study. The results showed that: (1) Societys? appraisement towards social ethics of the college students showed that students who are sociable proven fairly with greeting and smile, interaction with society has not been good yet because interaction occurs only when there is needs (2) Forms of violation have done by the college students are coming home over time which it has to be not later than 11 pm and guest of the opposite sex visiting hours which it has to be not later than 10 pm (3) The control towards college students showed that the preventive and repressive controls done by society leader and the dorm owner towards college students is quite good because the prevention through rules and repressive reprimand in the form of warning, punishment in the form of expelling and advice in the form of calling students who violated the rules have been conducted.Keywords: Perception, Social Ethics, College students live in dormitory

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of parents' socioeconomic status on learning motivation in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is a form of relationship study research. The population in this study were 259 and the sample was 51 (random) students of SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and data collection tools with a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and uses SPSS version 24. Based on the results of this study the relationship of parents' socioeconomic status to learning motivation in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sejangkung with rcount = 0.800 is in the "High" category. While the great influence of parents 'socioeconomic status on students' learning motivation by 64% is in the "strong" category. This shows that there is a positive influence on learning motivation, the better the socioeconomic status of parents, the higher the motivation of students to learn. Keywords: Parents' Socio-Economic Status, Learning Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this study is "Social Control of Violations of Smoking Rules on Santri at the Pontianak Darul Khairat Islamic Boarding School". The first sub problem is how preventive forms of social control, both how forms of repressive social control and coercive social control in tackling smoking violations in santri in the darul khairat pontianak boarding school The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study prove that the form of social control applied in the Darul Khairat Islamic boarding school consists of three. Preventive control is carried out by means of socialization. During salafiyah learning as well as socialization by attaching the pesantren's order in open areas such as mading and also advising and reprimanding on repressive social control carried out by calling parents and warning letters, but if there is still no deterrent effect, then in a coercive manner, namely the punishment and sanctions such as cleaning the environment of the pesantren and with the sanction of hair shaving also in the hope that it can become obedient in the pesantren.        Keywords: Social Control, Violation of Rules, Santri

Abstract

Abstrack       The purposes of this study were to find out the reason of school ?aged beggars in doing begging activities, the way they did begging, and their daily activities for they were not going to school as they should. This research used descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The subject of this research were school-aged beggars who did begging activities in nusa indah III, Pontianak City. Tools of data collection in this research were observation guides, interview, and documentation studies. The results of this study showed that (1) the main reason of school-aged beggars doing begging activities was to earn money, so they could help their parents to fulfill the family?s needs. (2) School-aged beggars used techniques of pity in order to take advantages of people?s compassion so they were willing to give them money. (3) It was alsoproved that school-aged beggars, who did begging activities every day without any other activities, tend to have negative mindset.Keywords : school-aged beggars, educatinal sosiology perspective

AbstractThe title of this research is ?Analysis of Santri Cooperation in Life A Day in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang?. A common problem in this study is how is the cooperation of santri in everyday life in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang, with sub problems (1) how is the cooperation in the form of harmony mutual help santri in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang? (2) how is the cooperation in the form of mutual cooperation harmony santri in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang?.
