Abstract

The design of a web-based information system for academic service satisfaction at the West Sumatra Shipping Polytechnic aims to overcome the problems of the survey system which is still manual. This can slow down the process of information at the West Sumatra Shipping Polytechnic. The system design in this Final Project (TA) was built using a website platform and run online. The research method uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model approach which consists of 5 stages, namely, a) Analysis b) Design c) Implementation d) Maintenance e) Planing. The programming language used is PHP, and the database application uses the MySql data processor as the database. The system design tool uses the unified Modeling Language (UML) method using 5 (five) diagrams according to design needs, namely Usecase Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagram and database design. This final project produces an effective and efficient Web-based design of an information system for academic service satisfaction at the West Sumatra Shipping Polytechnic that produces accurate and timely survey resultss

Abstract

Raw material data processing system is a very important thing in trading business. A computerized system is needed that can make predictions that are more effective, efficient and balanced with adequate human resources. UD.INARA does not yet have a system that can predict the need for brick raw materials. Because in the process of processing raw brick material data still uses manual predictions which are of course inaccurate, so that the process of ordering customers to calculating raw materials is not effective and efficient. The system design uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall method which consists of five stages, namely 1) planning, 2) analysis, 3) design, 4) implementation, 5) maintenance. System modeling uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) to describe visually, which is then implemented using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language with MySQL database as the database used. This design produces a data processing application for ud.inara brick raw materials that is effective and efficient in the process of predicting raw materials. This system can also generate accurate raw material reports. The design of a data processing application for brick raw materials is expected to improve UD.INARA's performance, to be more productive and efficient in providing services to customers.

Abstract

The management of stock and sales results at the Cendia cosmetics store is still done manually, so there is often a buildup of documents and sales reports. With this system, it is hoped that the management of stock and sales results will be more effective and efficient so as to produce accurate reports. The research method used is by analyzing the current system and identifying needs using the system development life cycle (SDLC) with UML design tools. This information system was created to make the process of managing stock and sales results at the Cendia cosmetics store easier to be more effective and efficient because all data has been stored in database form and produces more accurate output reports on stock management and sales results as expected. The information system for managing stock and web-based sales results at the Cendia cosmetics store has been computerized so that it can save time and energy compared to the old system and stock management becomes more effective and efficient
