Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to examine the description of counselee in the counseling process according to Surah Asy Syams, which is based on the authors reflection during counseling practice using the Quran media. Researchers found that counselees in the counseling process generally divided into three broad categories namely, (1) counselee based on growth and development level expressed based on sura Al Mukmin verse 67; (2) a special treatment counsel to women, referring to the Bukhari and Muslim narrated by Abu Hurairah Ra who calls women a crooked rib; and (3) the last counselor with special needs refers to Abasa verses 1-11. The counselee description in the counseling process based on the surah Asy Syams is divided into three parts: (1) the counselee has not understood the obstacles of his whole (sura Asy Shams verses 1-6); (2) the counselee when he finds out how to solve the obstacles he experienced (sura Asy Shams verses 7-10); and finally, the condition of the counselee who does not want to change the obstacles he experienced by analogizing the Thamud experienced (Surah Asy Syams verses 11 through 15).Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan menelaah deskripsi konseli dalam proses konseling menurut surah Asy Syams, yang didasari refleksi penulis selama melakukan praktik konseling dengan menggunakan media Al Qur’an. Peneliti  menemukan bahwa konseli dalam proses konseling secara umum terbagi dalam tiga kategori besar yakni,(1) konseli yang didasari tingkatan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang diungkapkan berdasarkan surah Al Mukmin ayat 67; (2) konseli perlakuan khusus kepada wanita, yang mengacu pada hadist Bukhari dan Muslim yang diriwayatkan Abu Hurairah Ra yang menyebut wanita adalah tulang rusuk yang bengkok; dan (3) terakhir konseli yang berkebutuhan khusus mengacu pada surah Abasa’ ayat 1-11. Adapun deskripsi konseli dalam proses konseling didasari pada surah Asy Syams terbagi ke dalam tiga bagian: (1) konseli belum memahami hambatan dirinya secara utuh (surah Asy Syams ayat 1-6); (2) konseli ketika menemukan cara menyelesaikan hambatan yang dialaminya (surah Asy Syams ayat 7-10); dan terakhir, kondisi konseli yang tidak mau mengubah hambatan yang dialaminya dengan menganalogikan kaum Tsamud dialaminya (surah Asy Syams ayat 11 sampai ayat 15).

Abstract

Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang keterampilan komunikasi konseling berbasis ayat Alqur’an sebagai solusi alternatif praktis dalam konseling sufistik. Selama ini dalam proses konseling terjadi hambatan komunikasi karena adanya kecemasan komunikasi disebabkan moral judgment antara konselor dengan konseli yang ditengarai karena adanya konseli menghindari memberi informasi yang bisa menimbulkan kritik, atau penilaian buruk terhadap pribadinya. Khusus tentang pelaksanaan konseling melalui pendekatan Islam dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan ayat Alqur’an sebagai dasar pelaksanaan komunikasi konseling sufistik. Hasil dari pembahasan ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Gambaran dimensi ‘al-maqamat’ dan ‘al-ahwal’ dalam proses konseling merupakan dimensi manusia mencapai fitrah yang terdiri dari taubat, wara,’zuhud, sabar, qana’ah, ridha, tawakal, ikhlas, muqarabah, muraqabah, khawf dan rajā,’maḥabbah dan ma’rifah. Melalui pisau bedah analisis menggunakan model Skilled Helper yang digagas oleh Gerad Egan pada tataran tertentu dapat digunakan sebagai proses keterampilan komunikasi konseling berdimensi ‘al-maqamat’ dan ‘al-ahwal.’ 2) Keterampilan komunikasi konseling yang digunakan berdasarkan ayat Alqur’an  keterampilan komunikasi konseling sufistik untuk mencapai ‘al-maqamat’ dan ‘al-ahwal’ adalah surah Al-Furqaan ayat 63, An-Nisa ayat 46, Al-Baqarah ayat 155, An-Nahl ayat 125 dan Ali Imran ayat 159.

Abstract

Resilience skill is defined as the ability to cope with challenges for dynamics life. Referring to the understanding of Islamic teachings, the resilience skill of surahah Ad Dhuha  perspective is different from the general understanding of resilience.  Resilience has two interconnected dimensions namely dimensions in difficult circumstances and dimensions in capacious condition, which are considered as one unity of connectedness. The eleven  verses of Surah Ad Dhuha has the meaning of resilience as well as resilience skills which definitely important to those who choose the path of religious life, this is explained at each step of the verse.Keywords: resilience skills, surah Ad Dhuha

Abstract

Academic stress is a student response to academic demands of learning science with biological, psychological, and social resources (perceived as material beyond the limits of ability) characterized by various reactions that affect the physical, emotional, mental and behavioral. One technique to assist students in reducing academic stress is to use Self-Instruction counseling techniques. The purpose of this research is to know the description of academic stress level of students before and after being given counseling with Self-Instruction approach, and to know the effectiveness of this counseling technique in reducing academic stress on student Guidance Counseling 2013 FKIP Unlam Banjarmasin. This research is a quantitative research using experimental method with pre-experimental designs design, using intact-group comparison. This research was conducted in Guidance and Counseling Program of FKIP Unlam Banjarmasin. Based on the results of data analysis techniques using the t-test formula found there are differences in student's academic stress level before being given counseling using Self Intructions techniques and after being given counseling. Based on the results of the research that has been implemented, it is necessary to note the use of guidelines of the next approach Instructor Self Intructions and study programs. As for the case is this research is still subjective because in the process of individual counseling or the implementation of this experiment, researchers also act as counselors.

Abstract

Workshop on the implementation of POP BK SMP/MTs-based individual counseling services held by MGBK SMP-Banjarbaru City were held with the intention of providing an understanding of the plan for implementing individual counseling services, so that counselor can use the individual counseling service plan properly. This workshop was carried out by presenting the material for the implementation of the service plan and then continued with the simulation of the case study-based manufacture, participants amounted to 38 people. The workshop implementation showed that counselors needed an in-depth understanding to use the plan for implementing individual counseling services as a counselee's initial information.

Abstract

The establishment of bullying behavior of high school students is basically not only influenced by social interaction factor but also influenced by the environment. This study aims to conduct a thorough review of the negative facts of Banjar culture in the establishment of bullying behavior of high school students by taking a study on the students of SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. The research method used is to conduct a literature review on the formation of bullying behavior. The result of research shows that the negative facts of Banjar culture have an impact on the behavior of 'bullying'. In an empathetic perspective, it occurs because of the overwhelming feeling, in an assertive perspective because of the habit of silencing the problem and lastly in the perspective of confirmation because of the attitude that tends to simplify life and ignore the feelings of others.

Abstract

There has been a lot of competence arranged professionalism counselor with the purpose to establish the existence of a counselor. However, it should be understood that the competence of counselor professionalism in its application is influenced by various things such as the personality of the counselor, the values and the belief norms held by the counselor in carrying out the counseling process. Each of the scopes has its own color in its application, however it must be admitted that the professional competence of the counselor in practice despite having a fixed standard but if each individual counselor applies is still unique. Especially for counselors with counseling approach of Islam the principle application of professional competence of counselor  based on source of Al Qur'an. In that case,  in the Qur'an surah Al 'Ashr although illustrated three verses but in fact when examined further is an insightful footing for Muslim counselors applying professionalism.There has been a lot of competence arranged professionalism counselor with the purpose to establish the existence of a counselor. Abstract

The development of the technological era 4.0 which has an impact on the erosion of individual awareness of the social environment is characterized by low prosocial behavior. Alternative solutions offered to improve prosocial behavior through the use of modeling techniques, by using this technique the goal achieved is to improve the ability of prosocial behavior in high school students. This study took place in SMAN 9 Banjarmasin, based on the distribution of questionnaires obtained by 6 students who have low prosocial behavior. Based on the results of the investigation statistically, the results show the value of z = -2.201 while for the value of ztab = -0.0139, which means zhit>ztab so that Ha is accepted and at the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.028

Abstract

Character education awakens the realm of values and norms of students. Environmental care is one of the 18 character values in the Indonesian Ministry of Education and National (2010) character education design. This article aims to examine the character of caring for the environment to mitigate flood disasters. Qualitative approach with descriptive method is used to describe research problems. Miles and Huberman's interactive model reduced interview data, presented descriptive narratives, and document research results. Triangulation techniques and research extension resulted in data saturation. The results of the study describe that related to the environmental care behavior of the community in Pengaron Village, it is described as follows; 1) The attitude of the community towards flood prevention is to do cooperation every week by coordinating through village officials, 2) Knowledge about flooding is passed down from generation to generation to children. This information includes the fact that floods always occur every year, so people must always be alert; 3) Environmental care behavior includes the obligation to have swimming skills, construct houses on stilts and or two floors, and plant trees that have characteristics sensitive to weather changes. Society inherits the character of caring for the environment as the primary value in everyday life. The character of caring for the environment contributes to educating the importance of preserving and coexisting with the environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of phubbing behavior on student academic procrastination. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlation research. The instrument used was a 'Generic Scale of Phubbing' developed by Chotpitayasunondh & Douglas, while the academic procrastination scale adopted the scale developed by Hariati. Research subjects were 278 students taken by probability sampling by determining the number of samples using the Isaac and Michael tables. Research analysis using simple regression analysis. The results showed that the behavior of 'phubbing' had a significant effect on academic procrastination. The results of this study contribute to education that phubbing behavior in addition to reducing the quality of relationship satisfaction and personal well-being can also make a habit of academic procrastination, which is will adversely affect students.Keywords: phubbing, academic procrastination, student
