Abstract

Students worksheet used in the school is still focusing to measure knowledge or material concept comprehension. Meanwhile, skills are not completely developed yet. This condition leads to develop of students worksheet with scientific approach to increase students creative thinking skills. This development research aimed to (1) produce students worksheets, (2) know of the interest and easy of students worksheet, and (3) know of effectivity of the students worksheet in terms of outcomes increase creative thinking skills. Research steps started from need analysis, identification of resources, identification of product specifications, product development, internal testing, external testing, and production. Results of this research were (1) students worksheets of creative thinking skills development result;(2) the attractiveness and easy of students worksheet categorized as very attractive and easy to use with each value of 3.37 and 3.11 ;(3) the effectifity of students worksheet 79,41% of the students completed the KKM. Lembar kerja siswa yang digunakan di sekolah pada umumnya masih menekankan dalam aspek pengetahuan atau penguasaan konsep materi saja, sedangkan aspek keterampilan belum sepenuhnya dikembangkan. Kondisi ini yang melatarbelakangi untuk melakukan pengembangan LKS dengan scientific approach untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menghasilkan produk LKS; (2) mengetahui kemenarikan dan kemudahan LKS serta (3) mengetahui efektifitas LKS ditinjau dari hasil peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatifnya. Tahap pengembangan ini meliputi analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji internal, uji eksternal, dan produksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) LKS hasil pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa, (2) kemenarikan dan kemudahan LKS dikategorikan sangat menarik dan mudah digunakan dengan masing-masing nilai 3,37 dan 3,11; (3) LKS efektif dengan 79,41% siswa tuntas terhadap KKM.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir kreatif, LKS, scientific approach.

Abstract

Remedial learning will be more effective if the process is done through media or other models which are different from the previous one. It is assumed that the use of media and methods will help the students to pass the score which has been determined. The purpose of this research is describing the result of the remedial learning, science process skills, character, activity, and attitude of the students. This research is done in junior high school 8 Bandar Lampung. The design of this research is one shot case study. N-gain score is used to analyze the data while paired sample t-test is implemented to examine the hypothesis. Based on the score gathered, it can be seen that the mean score of the students is middle score. The result of this research indicates that the learning process through ICT tutorial media can be used as an effort to improve the result of learning process in remedial learning.Pembelajaran remedial berjalan efektif jika pembelajaran remedial dilakukan dengan media atau model yang berbeda dari pembelajaran sebelumnya, sehingga membantu siswa memenuhi ketuntasan KKM. Penelitian bertujuan Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar remedial, KPS, karakter, aktifitas, dan sikap. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Desain penelitian One shot case study. Teknik analisis data hasil belajar menggunakan skor N-gain dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test. Berdasarkan skor rata-rata N-gain diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar dengan kategori sedang. Hasil tersebut mengindikasi-kan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK tutorial dapat digunakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran remedial.Kata kunci: aktifitas, hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains, media TIK tutorial, remedial.

Abstract

The purpose of this research development is to develop an educational game for students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Gadingrejo that can be played in the confirmation phase of learning in classroom. This research development used research methods adapted from the Sugiyono’s model and instructional media development procedures Sadiman et al. The final products is an educational game of Newton's law of gravity material that can be played in the confirmation phase of learning in classroom to review the material and practice questions for students. This educational game consists of a game board, pawns, zonkah, question exercise cards, game rule, hand out answered questions, and student record sheets. The conclusion of this research is the educational game Newton’s law of gravity material has developed and the quality of this educational game is very interesting, easy, and very usefull. Furthermore, this educational game is effective to be used in learning in classroom.Key words: research development, educational game, and Newton's law of gravity.

Abstract

The goals of this research were to know the increasing of students’ cognitive result and to describe students science process skills, students characters, students activities and students attitudes through the use of ICT media tutorial as a substitute demonstration of measurer at junior high school. The sample of this research was class VII1 of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo. The sample was taken random technique. Design of this research was one shot case study. Data were analyzed by using pair sample t-test. Based on results of data analysis concluded that student cognitive result increased and growth the students science process skills, students characters, students activities and students attitudes up through the use of ICT media tutorial as a substitute demonstration of measurer at junior high school.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa dan mendeskripsikan ketrampilan proses sains, karakter, aktifitas dan sikap siswa melalui penggunaan media TIK tutorial sebagai substitute demonstrasi pada pembelajaran alat ukur di SMP. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah kelas VII1 SMPN 1 Gadingrejo. Sample diambil dengan teknik acak. Desain pada penelitian ini adalah one shot case study. Abstract

This research has been conducted to develop learning module using Learning Content Development System (LCDS) program for simple harmonic motion and describe the interest, easiness, usefulness, and the effectiveness of LCDS learning module. The research method used research and development method. The procedures were consisted of eleven steps; needs analysis, set goals, determine the subject matter, treatment, draft the initial, production prototype, evaluation, revision, the final documents, trials, and final program. The results showed that the learning module were interest, easy, useful, and effective to be used as learning resources.Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran menggunakan Learning Content Development System (LCDS) pada materi gerak harmonik sederhana, dan mendeskripsikan kemenarikan, kemudahan, kemanfaatan, serta keefektifan modul pembelajaran menggunakan LCDS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development atau penelitian pengembangan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi sebelas tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, merumuskan tujuan, menentukan pokok materi, treatment, membuat naskah awal, produksi prototipe, evaluasi, revisi, naskah akhir, uji coba, dan program final. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran memiliki kualitas menarik, mudah digunakan, bermanfaat, dan efektif digunakan sebagai sumber belajar.Kata kunci: gerak harmonik sederhana, LCDS, modul pembelajaran, penelitian pengembangan

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop Interactive Electronic School Book (BSEI) based on Learning Content Develop System (LCDS) on Photoelectric Material as an independent teaching material to foster critical thinking ability to students who can be easily operated and have good legibility. The research method used is research and development or development research. The research design used in this development refers to Borg & Gall. Stages used in this development procedure is the stage of data collection, planning, product development, validation, and testing. The results of this study indicate that BSEI in the developed photoelectric effect material has been validated. Based on the one-on-one test BSEI get score 3.75 with very easy quality and has excellent legibility quality by getting score 3.85.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Buku Sekolah Elektronik Interaktif (BSEI) berbasis Learning Content Develop System (LCDS) pada materi Efek Fotolistrik sebagai bahan ajar mandiri untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa yang dapat mudah dioperasikan dan memiliki keterbacaan yang baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah reseach and development atau penelitian pengembangan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada pengembangkan ini mengacu pada Borg & Gall. Tahapan yang digunakan dalam prosedur pengembangan ini adalah tahap pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, tahap validasi, dan uji coba. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BSEI pada materi Efek Fotolistrik yang dikembangkan sudah tervalidasi. Berdasarkan uji satu lawan satu BSEI mendapatkan skor 3,75 dengan kualitas sangat mudah dan memiliki kualitas keterbacaan sangat baik dengan mendapatkan skor 3,85.Kata kunci: bsei, efek fotolistrik, penelitian pengembangan.

Abstract

Experiments need to be conducted in order to develop scientific thinking in a systematic, objective, critical and rational and training Science Process Skills (SPS) students but the experimental method is rarely done in schools due to lack of lab equipment in the lab. The purpose of this research was to determine differences in SPS and student learning achievement caused by the use of experimental methods and to investigate the interaction between the use of experimental methods and the prior knowledge when viewed from the acquisition of SPS score and the learning achievement of student. The research design was factorial design and hypothesis testing using univariate tests. Mean of student SPS scores who experiment in virtual laboratory was 18.6 and 71.4 for their learning achievement. KPS score who experiment in real laboratory was 17.7 and 60.2 for their learning achievement. Univariate test results showed no effect of the experimental method to the SPS and t learning achievement of students. Obtained a significant interaction between the experimental method and prior knowledge when viewed from KPS score and learning achievement.Keywords: prior knowledge, SPS, learning achievement, real labs and virtual labs.

Abstract

Pitot Pipe teaching media for measure fluid speed was not available at SMAN Way Lima. To complete the purpose of fluid mechanic teaching media, pitot pipe teaching media was develop and provide guide book for teaching fluid concept. Teaching media and guide book development were using Suyanto procedure and combine with BSNP (2006). The procedure that consist of purpose analyse, resource identification, product spesific indentification, product developing, product testing and production. Those procedures showed that pitot pipe and guide book are compatible with teory and approprite for teaching media.Alat peraga pipa pitot untuk mengukur laju fluida tidak tersedia di SMAN Way Lima. Sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan peraga pembelajaran mekanika fluida, dikembangkanlah alat peraga pipa pitot beserta buku panduan penggunaannya yang dapat digunakan untuk membelajarkan konsep-konsep mekanika fluida. Pengembangan alat peraga dan bukupanduan menggunakan prosedur Suyanto dan menggabungkannya dengan BSNP (2006). Mengacu pada model pengembangan tersebut yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji kelayakan produk (uji internal), dan produksi. Hasil uji internal menunjukkan alat peraga dan buku panduan penggunaan yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: mengukur laju fluida, peraga pembelajaran, pipa pitot.

Abstract

So far, education in Indonesia is still dominated by teacher oriented classroom as main source of knowledge, so that teachers often ignore student’s initial knowledge. The application of CTL learning is expected to influence students’ rational thinking activities and skills. Based on this background, the researcher conducts a research to find out the correlation between activities and student’s rational thinking skill in CTL learning. The objective of this research is to identify the correlation between activities and student’s rational thinking skill in CTL learning. This research was conducted in Bina Mulya Senior High School in Bandar Lampung by using one experiment classroom (classroom X2) with 39 students as samples. Teacher observed the students’ learning activities when the learning process is taking place. After three times of meeting by using CTL learning, tests for rational thinking skill were conducted by using student’ rational thinking problems that were subsequently processed with correlation tests. The results show that there is a positive and significant correlation between activity and student’s rational thinking skill, and the correlation is strong and it is indicated by value of rcount of 0.756.Keywords: activity, student’s rational thinking skill, CTL learning

Abstract

LKS (student worksheet) outstanding in school less attention to aspects of the effectiveness and attractiveness. Therefore, in an effort to meet the needs of students to learn physics with effective and fun, then developed a model of inquiry guided LKS material optical instruments. The purpose of this research is to produce worksheets aimed at learning media to students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Way Lima that can be used when teaching in the classroom. The development research using research methods adapted from the model Sugiyono. This model consists of the potential and problems, data collection resources, product design, design validation, design revisions, product testing, design revisions, utility testing, and product revision. Based on the development of research, the results after using the product of cognitive learning outcomes worksheets can help students complete the development of cognitive learning objectives in Optical Materials Tools.LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) yang beredar di sekolah kurang memperhatikan aspek keefektifan dan kemenarikan. Oleh karena itu, sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa untuk belajar fisika dengan efektif dan menyenangkan, maka dikembangkan LKS model inkuiri terbimbing materi alat-alat optik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran LKS yang ditujukan kepada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Way Lima yang dapat di-gunakan saat pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang diadaptasi dari model Sugiyono. Model ini terdiri dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data sumber daya, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi desain, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk. Berdasarkan penelitian pengembangan ini, hasil belajar kognitif produk setelah menggunakan LKS hasil pengembangan dapat membantu siswa menuntaskan tujuan pembelajaran kognitif pada Materi Alat-alat Optik.Kata kunci: LKS, model inkuiri terbimbing, alat-alat optik, hasil belajar.
