Abstract

Abstract: The research about the Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI), model has been conducted in MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to determine wheterthe application of ADI learning can improve achievement and the influence of application of ADI learning model in class XI MIA MAN 3 Pekanbaru on the subject improve category N-Gain, Research on the application of learning model ADI has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of thermochemistry. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI MIA 2 class as experiment and XI MIA 1 class as control that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing learning model ADI and the control class was treated conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (2,238> 1,673). It means that using learning model ADI can improve student’s achievement on the subject of thermochemistry in class XI of MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,86) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,68).  Key Words:  Inquiry learning, Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI), Learning  Achievement,                     Thermochemistry

Abstract

Abstract: The research about application of active learning strategy type of verbal football has been done to improve students learning achievement on the subject of redoks reactions in class X SMA Negeri 1 Rengat. Form of this research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. Data was taken at March 28, 2014 to May 17, 2014. The sample consisted of two classes, class XB as experiment class and class Xc as control class that randomly selected after testing homogenity. Analysis of data used t-test. The procesing of final data obtained by t-count > t-table (3,572 > 1,67). It means that the application of active learning strategy type of verbal football can improve students learning achievment on the subject of redoks reaction in class X SMA Negeri 1 Rengat where the effect of an increase is 14,88%.Keywords: Active Learning Strategy type of Verbal Football, Learning Achievement, Redoks Reaction.

Abstract

Abstrak: The research aims to determine whether the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Sample of  research is X MIA 2 as the experimental class, X MIA 1 as the control class.control class and experimental class normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. The experimental group was treated implementation of IMPROVE while the control group without implementation of IMPROVE.  T-test right side was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained  tcount>ttable is 4,084 > 1,667,meaning that the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru  Key Words: IMPROVE,  Learning achievement, chemical bonds

Abstract

Lactalbumin is a major protein found in milk which has great function to human body. It is a component of wheyprotein in milk. Lactalbumin was isolated from cow’s milk of Fries Holdstein breed by centrifugation at high speed9500 rpm and gel filtration chromatography using sephadex G-50 produced Lactalbumin dissolved in Tris buffersolvent. Characterization of Lactalbumin by measuring the UV absorbance spectrum at 240 – 320 nm comparedwith the spectrum of standard Lactalbumin showed maximum peak at the same wavelength, 280 nm. Lactalbumincontent in milk determined by Lowry method was about 0,66 mg/ml in milk or 9,2% of whey.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of cooperative learning model Round Robin has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic elektrolit-nonelektrolit and redoks at class X SMAN 1 Seberida. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the 10 Maret – 24 April 2014. The sample consisted of two classes, X3 class as experimental class and X1 class as control class. Experimental class is a class that is used cooperative learning model Round Robin, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic > ttable is 3,43 > 1,67, means that the cooperative learning model Round Robin can improve student achievement on the subject of reaction rate in class X SMAN 1 Seberida where the effect of an increase is 15,96%.Keywords: cooperative learning, round robin, learning achievement, elektrolit- nonelektroli and redoks

Abstract

Abstrack: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the subject structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class XI science SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu. This research was of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the XI science 3 as the experimental group and XI science 1 class as the control group. In experimental group was applied cooperative learning snowball throwing model, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis data tcount>ttable is 2,7 > 1,67, means that the application of model cooperative learning snowball throwing can improve student achievement on the subject structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class XI science SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.73.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Cooperative snowball throwing, Atomic Structure and Element of the Periodic System.

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research are to improve student achievement and to know the effect of implementing learning model of cooperative PDEODE (Predict Discuss Explain Observe Discuss Explain) on the balanced chemical subject in the class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. This experiment research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted of two class, class XI MIPA 2 as experiment class and class XI MIPA 4 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievementon the subject Atomic Structure and System of Periodic unsure inclass X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. The samples of this research were the students of class X.5 as the experimental class and students of class X.6 as the control class.Experimental class is a class that is applied learning strategy The Firing Line, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 1,70 > 1,67, ). It means that the application of learning strategy The Firing Line can improve student’s achievement on the topic of atomic structure and system of periodic unsure inclass X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of reaction rate. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the concept hierarchy. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 86.88%, 91.25%, 81.25% and 85.93%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the problem solving subject of salt hydrolysis is 90% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of student or collegian is 93% to LKPD with positive criteria.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Concept Hierarchy, and Reaction Rate

Abstract

This research aims to develop e-book based teaching materials for senior high school chemistry lesson at the subject of atomic structure. The research method used is research development. The research used Four D Model as a guide which is implemented in four stages are define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is only up to the development stage. Research data were collected through assessment form filled by 4 validators, 2 material professional and 2 media professional. The result showed of the assessment provided by validators each aspect considered was a very good category. The conclusion shows develop e-book based teaching materials for senior high school chemistry lesson at the subject of atomic structure have the valid criteria in terms of content and construction.
